3 April 11 We will have the opportunity to try the new classroom and see if the move is warranted. Yea, it was a good move and we had 31 in class and 8 absent. We are getting prepared to host the VBC 17th Mission Conference 17-20 April. Remember to seek God's leadership in your avocation.

Deuteronomy 23:1-25:19 The children are reminded of The LORD's attitude about separation, loyalty and service. He teaches about how and why choose your friends in view of the commandments. All men must learn to be wise, prudent, just, fair and prompt in choosing/judging others. The rule of kinsman redeemer is expressed and prepares the way for the lineage of Christ to continue as planned.

Luke 10:13-37 Evidence is always produced in our lives because of our faith. As you read v16-20 consider your priorities and factors for joy. The Law of GOD is applicable to ALL Mankind and we must be careful to not think God is like His creation, but His creation ought to be like Him. How we treat our "neighbor" reflects our attitude towards The LORD and what He has made plain to us.

Psalm 75:1-10 challenges us as to who do we worship and give thanks. Read v7 carefully and take time to be grateful for your prosperity. Sing praises to Him.

Proverbs 12:12-14 a godly conversation (lifestyle) is profitable. The LORD will reward those that do right and speak truth. luvpj

2 April 11 What a good day for projects. I hope you are being a good steward of the "garden" that The Lord has chosen for you to tend. Plan ahead for the Sunday morning activities so that you are prepared and on time. What we do at home prepares us for class and church. We are responsible for our spiritual health. Read to know!!

Deuteronomy 21:1-22:30 warns the Jews about their conduct as being measured by that which is right in the eyes of The LORD. Family conduct represents God to the other nations and rights of the first born are to be honored. Purity prior to marriage is provable and will stabilize the future for the family.Respect for women is promoted and rape is not tolerated. This must impact our concept of God in the area of temperance, separation, holiness, truth and obedience to GOD's commandments.

Luke 9:51-10:12 Jesus begins to set the outline for future followers declaring their need to put GOD first in all aspects of their lives.Mission type work is explained with the simple rule of 2X2 going and serving together expressing their message by a blessing or a curse.

Psalm 74:1-23 displays many attributes of God.We need to remember that He is Almighty, knows all things and that nothing is hid from Him. Selah

Proverbs 12:11 each person chooses his own lifestyle and The LORD rewards hard work. Keep on reading, stay by the stuff and believe The Truth. luvpj
1 April 11 Yea' it is Friday and Sunday is coming. Are you getting ready? We will meet in the main church building ,upstairs in the BridgeBuiders class room at 09:45. Our goal is 40 in attendance. Please be there.

Deuteronomy 18:1-20:20 God reminds the other tribes to respect and make provisions for the Levites and priest in their offerings. Warnings against associating with those that God declares to be abominable an also "prophets" are given with the consequence make clear for unbelievers. We have the responsibility to know what is truth and to be alert and compare what people say, even from the pulpit.Man's conduct is the rule and accidental death is given protection in the cities of refuge.Faith during times of war are sustained by believing what The LORD has said is true and valid. God specified how to deal with the enemies.

Luke 9:28-50 What an experience for the disciples up on the mount when Jesus was transfigured and appeared with Moses and Elias. We see again how man looks to the temporary while God deals with the Eternal.Read v44 and apply this to all of your reading to know Him.God knows who is on His side and we must be careful in our evaluation of those who are busier than we are.

Psalm 73:1-28 I suggest you consider Psalm 73 and 37 as sister psalms that are good for counsel and comfort. We need to know GOD and His Truth and be wise and diligent.

Provers 12:10 we all shall be known by our conduct. Be kind and considerate. luvpj

31 March 11 Glad to be home. We had a wonderful time celebrating our matrimony experience that began in 1957.On our trip we visited two young college men located at Baylor and A&M. We visited the Bush Library, Martha's Bloomers garden store and the antique rose garden in Independence, Texas.we read each day and were amazed at the beauty of God's handiwork. Getting ready for Sunday. Hope to see you in class.

Deuteronomy 16:1-17:20 God causes Moses to remind the children about their conduct with one another and warns them about their worship practice. 18:22 is plain and declares another attribute of God that must influence your concept of God.It would be good for you to look up the word "presumptuously" and apply this truth to your conversation/life style. Keep on reading.

Luke 9:7-27 The Lord shows His compassion and power as He feeds the multitude and teaches that men serve men in His ministry. The real question of who He is is given to the disciples and it still confronts each of us today, for every person must answer this question to the satisfaction of GOD The Father. Learn about Maranatha.

Psalm 72:1-20 warns about "one day" that all shall fall down. Various attributes are given to remind us of Who He is and how He acts. The truth in v17 is comforting.

Proverbs 1:8-9 How mans sees man is not as important as to how GOD sees us.We will be commended or despised. What is your "relationship" with GOD? Selah luvpj
