July 31st Summer is almost gone and the world is still unreached. What sense of responsibility concerning this matter do you assume?I realize the local Church is the Only agency Scriptures designated as the legitimate representative for accomplishing the Great Commission so then we must be a part of a local New Testament(fundamental, baptistic, perpetual, like Jesus started and pastored in Jerusalem) Church that is doing the will of GOD. We all must give an account of our stewardship as a part of the church. If we have not been faithful in this opportunity, let us admit, confess, forsake our sin and return to The Truth and The Truth Giver. Let us ask The LORD to hear our prayer, to cleanse us and forgive us our sin, to order our steps, fill us again with His Holy Spirit so that we may be in agreement with Him. Let us commit ourselves to being Christlike from now to eternity. Amen.

If you were to summarize all of today's verse into one sentence what would it be? Consider that it might be"Cause mine acts to be of faith to please GOD, not to grieve my brother, serve as a stepping stone for others toward GOD and that all I meet be edified and then I would be happy and full of joy".

Proverbs 20:12 Thank The LORD that I can see and hear Him.

Psalm 22:1-10 Thank The Lord for every thing around me in this world. Oh to be like King David as he was bringing the Ark of GOD into Jerusalem, shouting out to the whole city,LOOK, SEE, HEAR for The King of Glory is coming! He shall come in!

Romans14:1-23 Let us be careful, considerate and kind to others. Are you fully persuaded that what you read, see, hear, sense and know is of GOD? If so, then act like it with meekness, filled with His Spirit and under girded by His grace. Put others first.Let your test be "whatsoever is not of faith is sin". Be right,do right.

2nd Chronicles 29:1-36 records many good acts of King Hezekiah. Perhaps he realized, like King David, The King of Glory was on the outside of the city and he purposed to put things in order, so he began. This proves to me that "revival" is a process, not the end. Thanks be to GOD for eyes and ears. The fear of GOD is the beginning of wisdom.Cleanliness is near to Godliness. Obedience is the demonstration of love. Work and putting things in order is not sin. (James 4:17)Preparation of the heart is required before worship. Get right, Be right, then Do right. It is a wonderful experience to be "reconciled" with The LORD. When these things occur and The King of Glory comes in, men will offer of a free heart a sacrifice of thanksgiving. Let us pray and set all things in order before The LORD in our lives, our families, our churches, our nation so that He, The LORD of Host might come in. Amen. He is HOLY! pj

Start today planning and preparing for Sunday. Get prepared to meet The LORD today.

July 30th This is the day my father and my mother said I was born and I believe them.30 October 1977 is my spiritual birthday and GOD, The Lord Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit told me this truth and I believe them. I am glad that I have and can trust my Parents!I am glad that the 2nd birth was an experience that I was involved in by choice.I am thankful for the gentle process of GOD in His preparing me for the new birth and how wonderful the GIFT of eternal life was and is today. I was doubly blessed because my wife was born again the same day, at the same place, just down the alter from me. Our Heavenly Father adopted us both into His family by His Grace through our faith in the finished work of His dear Son Jesus who had paid our sin debt. I say daily that I am glad of who I was,who I am and who I will be because of my Salvation from the wrath of GOD. How was your 2nd birth experience?

Proverbs 20:11 Let us pray that all of our doings are right, our Heavenly Father is pleased and that He gets all the glory.Pray, LORD cause us to be and do right.

Psalm 23:1-6 Is so! Have you believed all of His promises and do you act like it? Let us agree that we, as sons of GOD, have never been left alone. He is faithful!

Romans 13:1-14 The promise of prosperity may be summed up in verse 14. Is this so in your life? Personal choice is the beginning and end of our life. Whom do you serve? Whom do you hear, know, respect, fear, follow and trust? We should not try to separate love from obedience.Look at James 4:17,determine what you know an act on it.

2nd Chronicles 26:1-28:27 records some of the choices made by various kings. How do you see these choices similar to some of those that you have made?Do not focus on the man, focus on GOD.This will impact your concept of GOD. Read to know Him. Note the promises and conditions of GOD. See the consequences of sin. When you see a sin in progress take time to ask The LORD to cause you to avoid a situation that might draw you away from Him and into rebellion, witchcraft, idolatry, murder and death. Consider verses 26:5b,15b and 16 and learn about GOD. What do you consider partial obedience to equate to? How about James 4:17? We can blame a lot of things on those in authority, but who is making the choices in your life? What is written down in your book of life about your thoughts, words, deeds and intents since salvation? pj

July 29th and another month is almost over and there are so many who have not been saved. Have you met the person who was praying for you to get saved? Have you thanked the person that The LORD used to bring you to a sense of guilt, repentance and the desire to be saved? Have you thanked the person most responsible for you knowing all you know about GOD? Have you thanked any one lately? If not, why not?

Proverbs 20:8-10 We ought to learn the lesson of right and fairness and treat all people with honesty and a just balance. Have you ever been cheated? Have you ever cheated any one? Stewardship is the process that we must follow. What does GOD love and what does He hate? There is no way to hide our deeds from The King. Selah.

Psalm22:19-31 How does verse 30 relate to Genesis 3:15? Have you noted and claimed any of the promises associated with this Psalm? Of the statements declared to be a lifestyle, how many have you incorporated into your life?

Romans 12:1-21 Now is the time to respond. How have you reacted to this plea from GOD? Read this chapter and compare this to the Ten Commandments and see where you stand. We all have been blessed and gifted and equipped for many activities. It is OK to be different. Our stewardship is only for what we have received and how we use "it" for the glory of GOD. Let these verses become your lifestyle and daily conversation. Be right and be first to demonstrate the love of Christ to all. Remember The King is taking notes on our conduct. What we do is not for our salvation,we can not nor do not earn it, we do right BECAUSE WE ARE SAVED. If we say we love Him, then act like it. Amen.

2nd Chronicles 24:1-25:28 Demonstrates how our conduct should be motivated by our personal convictions, not by only what people expect from us. We must develop a Godly Biblical concept of GOD. Here we see a good case study of discipleship, but in the end the student turns on the teacher. Where does character enter and depart or what happened to their integrity? We must be careful as we get involved with students that we have chosen, lest they assume our motives and concepts without developing their own concept of GOD. We must get involved and nurture them from childhood to maturity, even though there is a good possibility that they may turn and rend us for our love and overwatch. We need to be alert to the activities of our family, church and government. There is a good and proper way to voice our concerns and we should always act responsibly and with respect. We must be prepared and work. The greatest tool at our personal disposal is the opportunity to hear and see what is going on and THEN tell The LORD in prayer our judgments. We are responsible for what we know. We must avoid rebellion, witchcraft and flee from gossip.Amen. pj

July 28th Hot and muggy with a hint of showers this PM. It would be good to appreciate how well off we are here today. For the saved person, this is as near Hell as we will ever be! For the unsaved person, if they(you)stay in their sin(unbelief), this is as close to Heaven(redemption) as they will ever be. We need to be thankful of who we were and that we are now saved. We need to anticipate the Bible Truths that are going to come to pass and be very thankful.Praise The LORD. Amen.

Proverbs 20:7 is a great summary of what we have read today. As a father and grandfather it has caused me to spend time evaluating and praying about my personal integrity, conduct, obedience, awareness and preparation for OUR future for my family. It has also caused me to remember my father, who died in 1956, and spend some time thanking GOD for him and his father. We are blessed and we must be men of integrity. Consider the fathers we have read about today and their lack of integrity.

Psalm 22:1-18 Does this cause you to want to be pure, perfect, Holy, hated, bruised, despised, cursed and crucified so that your father's will would be done?Only Jesus is the perfect man of integrity. And we call ourselves Christians. How many traits of GOD are described in these verses that you have in yourself? We are to be like Him. Does the world consider us a just man? Does GOD think of us as just? Selah.

Romans 11:13-36 God made bold statements of promises to His people as recorded here in these verses.Paul made bold replies. How have you accomplished verse 13 in your life? As a child of The King, a son of GOD, a friend of Jesus Christ and a man of integrity how do you magnify "your office"? We have been grafted in and we ought to act like it! If we are the reason some men never hear the GOSPEL, how will we respond to The LORD when we are required to give an accounting of our stewardship of His Gift to us? Can you deny your office of that as an Ambassador? A minister of reconciliation? A stepping stone of the Gospel? A joint heir/co-laborer with GOD? We are the salt and the light left here to magnify and lift up Jesus as The Christ!

2nd Chronicles 21:1-23:21 Do you recall what we read on June 25th? It will get easier to think back on what you have read after reading through the 365 Bible several times. Look for the integrity factor in the lives of these kings. Kings affect nations and their lack of integrity impacts the people. Compare the conduct of our presidents and see how similar their conduct is to those being modeled in the Bible. What can/should we learn? There is only ONE man of integrity and His name is Jesus Christ The God man.The phrase"in the process of time" is used often and we can see that what GOD has said will come to pass(Heb 9:27).The sad account of the family of Jehoshaphat/Jehoram display the lack of integrity and character. How would you like to live in a family where your grandmother acted like Athaliah? If you enjoy the peace of/with GOD in your family, take time to be grateful and thankful. There is coming a day when we will shout "GOD save The King" and we will be happy and full of joy. Maranatha. One day there will be no more treason. Be right and do right. pj

Monday, July 27, 2009

July 27th Monday and a good day for review. What are you sure of that relates to eternity? If someone were to ask you why you don't commit adultery or murder, how would you respond? What do you KNOW that will never change? What is the source of this confidence? Are you considered a "clear cut example" of a Christian? This does not relate to badges, beads, bracelets, necklace, t-shirts or bumper stickers. The sharp question is, does the world/lost man/backslidden church member see The Lord Jesus Christ in us?If not, why not? When we say that we KNOW that we are a son of GOD, a child of The King, redeemed, forgiven, accepted in the beloved, in the hand of GOD, going to heaven by GOD's grace, living in the peace of and with GOD, reading His love letter to ourselves daily, praying and praising Him without ceasing, waiting for Him to return in the clouds today and telling everybody how to know as much as we know, because The LORD has told us in His Bible, and that is why we know where we will be 100 years from today. We are His! He has saved us!

Proverbs 20:4-6 Now after all of this are we considered faithful by GOD? Every man that is able should work. We need to read to know Him. We need to hide His Word in our heart. We need to be careful not to brag nor boast of our own deeds. Glorify GOD.

Psalm 21:1:13 Are you joyful for the blessings of GOD? Selah. How many attributes of GOD did you notice in these verses? How do you exalt The LORD? Selah.

Romans 10:13-11:12 Do our actions reflect our faith in the truth of verse 13? Are you confident in the calling that The LORD has placed on your life as a son of GOD? We have the opportunity to read through the entire KJV Bible in a year. We can read through the bible in one year if we spend about 18 minuets a day(105-120 min. per wk) or 2 of the 168 hours per week reading, our faith will increase. Some say praying is easier. Let us be concerned about our lack of interest in reading to know Him lest we have a similar reputation of the Jews as recorded in 11:7-10. Let us be grateful for GOD's mercy and thankful that we have had the opportunity to hear Truth so that we might be saved. We need to tell the world the Good News! Amen.

2nd Chronicles 19:1-20:37 Take time to read again and consider the truth in verse2. As you become familiar with the acts of King Jehoshaphat and The LORD's judgments how do these impact your concept of GOD? It is a blessing to be reproved by GOD. It is a blessing to be corrected and instructed by GOD. It is good for all of us to know truth and to obey. Take note of the promises of The LORD but don't overlook the conditions. Read the prayer and learn from this as an example of praying back by reminding GOD of His Words. Perhaps we should hear GOD's instruction of how to go to war, then we would sing before the battle, stand and watch the Salvation of GOD, pick up the spoil and then praise Him for the victory. Yea, we are on the winning side!Let us be careful that"howbeit"does not get added to our reputation.Do you see where blessings can become a curse because we forget GOD? We choose our friends. pj

PS Be careful who you join up with as friends, partners, mates and co-laborers.
July 26th Sunday and the big day to celebrate. We had a good group (27) of people for class. We miss those that were not there and will pray that next Sunday all will be there, on time, read and prayed up, ready to share. We have the potential to average more than 36 when "all" are in their places with bright shiny smiling faces.YEA! If you were not there please call some one who was there and get a copy of this week's homework.Who on earth do you want praying for you?

Proverbs 20:2-3 Have you been honourable this week? When you read this verse who is the lion a picture of? Who/which king do you fear? Selah? If you were to meet a real full size lion in your back yard how would you react?

Psalm20:1-9 Do we only want The LORD to hear us in the day of trouble? When "every thing" is neat, orderly, paid for and in order how often do you call on GOD? What provision is being asked for in verse 9? How do you apply verse 6 to your life?

Romans 9:25-10:12 brings us to some central verses in the "Romans Road". Have you considered verse 28 and determined what does it mean, "a short work"? Works are the evidence(s)of FAITH in action. How many of these verses do you read as FACT and just accept them as Truth? It has been said"don't put a question mark where GOD has put a period". I strongly suggest you mark between verse 9and10 the date of your salvation, if you know for sure that you are saved. If you know the date of your baptism you might insert that between verse 11-12. This would be a good witnessing tool when you share your testimony with some one you care for. Try it.

2nd Chronicles 17:1-18:34 We have the opportunity to read again the history of the acts of a good king who made some bad decisions. We ought to learn from the mistakes of King Jehoshaphat and see the consequences of cooperating with ungodly people. The LORD blessed Judah, but we soon see they are turned to curses as we read today and tomorrow. Why do we violate simple guidelines? What is so difficult about "trust and obey"? We have the opportunity to see the risks associated with being true to GOD. Is it worth it to be slapped around and put into prison for speaking truth? Whom do we fear the most? How does peer pressure affect you? Are you impressed at the ability of GOD to take a random arrow launched at a venture by an unknown man to find a small open unprotected part of the back of King Ahab and kill him? Consider John3:36 and Hebrews 9:27 and think of where King Ahab has been since this day? We need to learn truths relating to friendships.Be careful who you cooperate with. pj

Saturday, July 25, 2009

July 25th This is the day we have been waiting for.Yea! Tomorrow we get to go to church. Are you ready? Hope to see you in the SS Class at 9:45. Come read up and prayed up expecting to be blessed and to be a blessing. Let your light shine. CU

Proverbs 20:1 Be warned.Be smart and don't play with that demon. Who will try to convince you that "just one little drink won't hurt"?I would not advise you to play with a little diamondback rattlesnake nor a cool one. Please be alert to temptation.

Psalm 19:1-14 ought to cause you to break out singing, "The law of The LORD is perfect, converting the soul;". How many bold factual verses did you see in this Psalm? How many promises? How many declaration should you consider making? Selah.

Romans 9:1-24 There is a DIFFERENCE between a saved person and a lost person regardless of hie heritage. Sad to say there is a difference between a saved person and a Christian. Are you saved, filled with The Spirit of Truth doing the will of GOD? If not, why not? First be/get saved and then act like it!

2nd Chronicles 14:1-16:14 Is the son like the father? It is better to go from bad to good in your reputation with The LORD.It is a shame to be consider good yet GOD to make the blessings that He has given to the king and the people to become a curse. We might learn a lesson that when you speak truth to a king we may go to prison. The question is"do we fear the king or The KING"?What sin should we avoid that King Asa committed? How should a king act? How should a son of GOD/a child of The King act? pj

PS Be saved, read, pray, confess, admit/agree, believe, trust and be Christ like.

Friday, July 24, 2009

July 24th YEA! It is Friday and Sunday is coming. Are you planning to be SS Class on time, read and prayed up, and then attending the Worship Service to praise The LORD, sing hymns, give your offering(tithe) and be EDIFIED by the preaching of GOD's Word? Plan and prepare tonight. Invite an unchurched friend to attend our 365 Class. Share your testimony, encourage someone to be saved and expect GOD to bless His children.

2nd Chronicles 11:1-13:22 It matters how the king worships. Today we are a nation that does not know where/what/how or who our leader worships,C12:13-15.Please pray for GOD to be firm, yet gentle, as He calls our political leaders to Himself. Pray they respond for their sake and our good. It will never be right to do a good thing the wrong way. No leader nor nation will prosper when they violate published truth. From David in his strength to Solomon in his compromise to Rehoboam and his desire for convenience, it is/was downhill. What do you learn from these truths? How many men(Jews)have to die in battle because the kings are contrary to GOD? Can you picture 500,000 chosen men dying in just one conflict? This type of war/conflict will continue, for us,until the Rapture. Let us not pray selfishly for this to occur.Amen.

Romans 8:24-39 Hopefully by now you have experienced these verses in your life.Establish and ground your faith in the Truth of GOD's True Words and believe what you have heard, seen, touched and have handled according to 1st John1:1. We cannot hide from Him. He hears and knows all of our hopes, dreams, goals, failures, victories, sins and they impact Him. We are His! We are His sons and children. Get GOD's security for eternity firmly settled in your soul and heart.NOTHING shall be able to separate you or me from the love of GOD, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord(v39).We can be saved and act like Christ in this mortal body being filled by His SPIRIT. We can! Yes, in all things we are more than conquerors through Him,v37.

Psalm 18:35-50 How BIG is GOD? Have you ever enjoyed victory because of GOD's intervention? Has The LORD preserved you in your trials and tests? Let us join in the victory lap of this Psalm with the author, King David, and praise GOD for Himself. Take time to thank The Lord for His greatness and His gentleness. He hath delivered us from our enemy and will deliver us to our eternal home, YEA! SELAH.

Proverbs 19:27-29 It is important who you listen to and WHAT you HEAR because it may cause you to sin. It is one thing to be ignorant, but to be wilfully mislead by a deceitful person and you not to know or do not take precaution through verification as to what you are being told is ..... Look at James 4:17 for warning. Read to know Him and be lead by His Spirit so as to be in and to do His will.Selah. pj

July 23rd A busy day getting checked by doctors. One said ALL is well and the other took two biopsies. There is joy in getting a good report and also detecting a problem early. If you have not been to a surgeon lately that requires a signature on a release form before he operates then you have been blessed. It fascinates me that people will give permission to people to operate on them under sedation knowing that death may result, yet hesitate to TRUST GOD for the free gift of salvation. Are we ignorant or wilfully blind and dull of hearing?

2nd Chroniciles 8:11-10:19 Why would the wisest man do so foolishly? We all need to be alert to be right and do right so that we do good things the right way for the right and proper motive. The story of the queen of Sheba is a wonderful illustration of how GOD's blessings on His people cause a door of opportunity to be opened that they may tell strangers about The True and Living Saviour.Have you had the opportunity to tell His story? I find it odd that GOD chose to record the weight of gold coming to Solomon in one year to be 666 talents. One day The Jewish people will have again the land described in v9:26, but The King will be Jesus. Solomon did not make provisions for his son as did King David and the kingdom was divided. Have you determined how many years of Jewish history we have read since they left Egypt? There may be some sound advice for our current political leaders that was provided to King Rehoboam in v10:6-9 and that is listen to the young and inexperienced, but hear what the old seasoned men say and forsake not their counsel. Verse 19 is still true today. As you consider v10:15 how does this affect your concept of GOD?

Romans 8:9-23 It is not easy to separate Chapter 8 into three days of reading. It may be considered the "how to"in living a Christian life. The KEY to our joy, success, prosperity and utilization is The SPIRIT. We are somewhere between "no condemnation' and "no separation" in this Chapter. Note the verses that make bold factual statements. Are you a son of GOD? There must be evidence in our life that causes The LORD to get glory.

Psalm 18:16-34 Do you see yourself "described" in these verses? If not, why not?He delights in me said the writer in v19, is GOD delighted in you today? How has The LORD recompensed you according to your righteousness AND the cleanness of your hands? Take time to search yourself, your level of obedience to The SPIRIT and make things right before GOD. It is our choice, right and responsibility as a son of GOD.

Proverbs 19:26 King Solomon wrote this verse. How do you evaluate your obedience to your parents and to your Heavenly Father? Take time to make things right, now. Amen.pj

Wednesday, July 22, 2009

July 22nd Wednesday and we are still here. Hope you are having a blessed day and enjoying this wonderful cool July summer.Betty and I get to sit on our patio, watch and hear the many varieties of birds, observe the trees and plants as they are moved by the gentle wind and read our 365 Bible together and pray. We are very fortunate to have a schedule that allows us time to read together.Hopefully you are able to read early in the day, pray before the activities begin, meditate on what you have learned in the morning and enjoy the many blessings of GOD and be happy. Ask your mate"Am I the love of your life"? And when he/she replies"yes", then say with a strong voice"Then act like it"!You can imagine that The LORD would do the same to each of us, His children, and hopefully we would respond, with joy,"Yes Lord".

2 Chronicles 6:14-8:10 may be the BEST chapters to read in this Book. Please take note of the following words or phrases, count the frequency of use, determine their meaning, and then apply them to your concept of GOD. For example:now, but,if,then, but if they turn away, then will I and then hear thou from heaven. We could learn much about how to pray from these verses. How do you pray in agreement with The Lord Jesus Christ? It is not the same to say "thy will be done" if we do not know what GOD has already expressed as His perfect will.We can know Him and what He loves and what He hates. How would you respond if your "big" prayer was answered by GOD the same way He answered this prayer of Solomon? GOD did that for Elijah, Gideon and Solomon, will He do it for us? How can two walk/pray/serve/enjoy one another except they be agreed?Pray for that Holy unction of knowing the mind of The LORD. Look at the petitions, consider the conditions, note the promises then trust GOD. Be and do right all the time.

Romans 7:15-8:8 does it seen strange to you that these verses follow those of 2nd Chronicles? We are aware of King Solomon's weaknesses, sins and faults and when Paul admits similar traits, and we admit our own carnality, what is man that GOD provides for us salvation? We believe that the only way to please GOD is by FAITH. But FAITH must be in the Person of God, in the flesh, The Lord Jesus Christ.Look at 8:1 and see what are the conditions noted about condemnation. Where are you walking? Thanks be to GOD, He has equipped us with a (sound) mind that we may choose Him. Now look at John 3:36 and be busy about telling others how to be saved/at peace with GOD.

Psalm 18:1-15 Provides insight into why man would love and worship GOD.What has He been and done for you? When all is bad, black, bleak, boring and baffling who do you turn to for peace and quiet? Have you asked Him to hear your prayer? Selah.

Proverbs 19:24-25 Does any of this apply to you? If so, what are you going to do about fixing the problem? If this does not stick on you, how have you expressed your joy to The LORD for being SO fortunate and blessed? Be right then do right. Amen. pj

Tuesday, July 21, 2009

July 21st Tuesday morning and it is raining,YEA! Where ever you are I hope you are happy. If you are not involved in some project that helps others, please consider being a volunteer. A good way to start is"O LORD, here I am and what ever you want me to be and do, I am ready. Use me for your glory and I know my joy will be full. I will prepare myself by confessing my sins, repenting to Thee, reading my Bible and praying while I wait on Thee. Please cause me to hear your voice. Amen". Now do it!

2nd Chronicles 4:1-6:23 ;Romans 7:1-14 ;Psalm 17:1-15 and Proverbs 19:22-23. How would you summarize all of these verses into a one sentence comment? Try to read to know Him and then say back to GOD what you have gained from reading about Him and how He cares for His creation. We call this meditating. The word "Selah" calls us to read, stop, think on this that you have read and then keep on keeping on.

Please consider the word desire. What does this word cause you to think about? What do you really want? If money were no object, what would you be and do for the glory of GOD? We all are impressed by Solomon's request for wisdom and knowledge and doubly impressed that the LORD gave all of that and blessings beside. How would you respond if GOD were to bless you like He blessed Solomon? What was Solomon's desire? Saul/Paul was saved, what was his desire? The psalmist was attended to by The LORD, what was his desire? NOW, are you satisfied with what and how GOD, The LORD, your Lord has dealt with you? If not, why not? He is no respecter of persons. He has not changed. What do you desire of Him? Perhaps a good question may be,What doe He desire of you? Think about GOD and dream about seeing Him face to face and then ask yourself, what do I desire more than this.Maranatha!Selah. Amen. pj

Monday, July 20, 2009

July 20th Monday and we are still here.I'm glad we don't have to worry about getting a bag packed for the Rapture.Every thing we will need for this "out of this world" experiences provided and we get 1st class treatment, no lines, no passport required, no security line screening, no more haggling, no more return trip coupon, no more concern for money-just in case of emergency, no more trying to fit all things in clear plastic containers, no more prescription and medications, Nada-Zip.We really have it made!I have not forgotten the requirement of being able to hear the call for departure. All going on this Heavenly Adventure must have made arrangements in advance, that is of being saved, born again, adopted, forgiven, accepted in the Beloved, justified, sanctified and ready to meet The Lord in the air.It is important that you know Him, and it is Essential that He knows you and that your name is written down in the book of Life. Some preachers have said that if you are not here after what I'm here after, then you will be here after I'm gone. I don't want you to be ignorant my friend. If this is strange to you and you are not sure about this matter of Salvation in Jesus Christ the Lord, PLEASE let me know so that I may share some scriptures with you so that you may KNOW that you are saved and no longer under the wrath of GOD, still in your SIN of unbelief.Be saved today.

2nd Chronicles 1;1-3:17 This is the beginning of the reign of King Solomon of Israel. What has GOD done for Solomon as compared to what GOD has done for you?Are you adopted as a son of GOD? Will The LORD hear your prayer for wisdom?Has GOD shown great mercy toward you and your family? What do you have that The LORD has not given you?All of us must be good stewards of all of the gifts that we have received from GOD. Has GOD asked you to do anything? What have you asked GOD to be able to do so that He might be glorified? Read to know Him. Observe His handiwork.Hear and heed His instructions.Be prompt and obedient to known Truth. Learn to say,Yes Sir! Amen.

Romans 6:1-23 Consider v23 and then tell GOD where you stand. Do you have His gift? Can the world see evidence that you have His gift? Is there a CLEAR CUT difference between you and the world? The promise/provision that is provided to a son of GOD/a child of The King is stated in v 14.Is this true in your life? If not, why not? Consider v18-22 and declare your position to The LORD. If we are IN Christ, then we are to live unto GOD and we will walk in the newness of life. If we are His, then by GRACE the whole world should see Him in us. His GRACE is Amazing!!Thank you Lord!!!

Psalm 16:1-11 How many of these verses have you prayed back to GOD? How many of these verses do you consider as true facts? How many promises did you find today and have you consider the condition to be complied with before accomplishment? Now, can you/will you bless the LORD? Bless Him/Praise Him because He is GOD. He is worthy!

Proverbs 19:20-21 should provoke you to ask "what am I depending on to get through this day of my life"? The Bible does say "listen" it plainly says for you to hear and receive. Faith is increased by HEARING! For us old people this means a lot as it should for you young people, GOD's truth will save you!Why do you hide The Word in your heart? If you are not hiding His Word in your heart, you are cheating yourself.Do not trust your "old" heart, for it is wicked. Selah. Amen pj

PS: Please consider inviting others to become saved. Encourage others to follow the blog as they read their KJV 365 Bible daily. Invite them to read and pray with you. Thanks to Skipper for his great work. Pray for us that a door may be opened.

Sunday, July 19, 2009

July 19th Sunday We all get to go to church! We miss not being in Victory and in our 365 Class, but I know GOD will use Skipper to teach the Truth and prepare the class for the Worship hour.We went to church with Jay,Cathryn and the children at Mims Baptist. It was an energetic uplifting music/praise service preparing us to be prepared for the preaching. I was edified! We had a good lunch, a surprise birthday gift and a safe trip home. It was good to be in our place tonight. Hope you all had a great day and that you have expressed your appreciation to The LORD for His blessings. Plan to share your blessings with some one this week.

1st Chronicles 28:1-29:30 closes out the life and acts of King David and all of his preparation for his son Solomon. These verses demonstrate the principal of Adoption and allows us to see ourselves being treated as Solomon was treated. Please don't get over being A son of GOD.Say,if you are saved, prayerfully and with much joy,I will always be a son of GOD! Read and accept the charge given to Solomon(v7-10) as being applicable to yourself. You, if saved/born again, are a King's kid.Admire all the hard work that was accomplished in getting the items assembled, but focus on Him who made all this to happen.David reminded Solomon the 2nd time to be attentive to GOD.This is like reading David's last will and testimony similar to what we read after death and we read the will. Do you have your conversion experience written into your will?As I read this morning I saw the word "reign" several times and I thought about the word "rain", and then I sang that little chorus "showers of blessings". Who reigns over you and gives all the blessings?Look at verse 29:28 and do likewise. Are you prepared to die today? If not, why not?Look at Hebrews 9:27.

Romans 5:3-21 contains several "key" verses. How many verses do you consider as fact? What does 5:8 mean to you and how does it connect with John 3:36?These are verses influential in causing people to consider being saved. What does "atonement" in verse 11 mean to you? Count and note how many times the word "one" is used in these verses.Make sure you connect the "one" is also the "only" One that has not/never sinned and that Jesus Christ our Lord is the one and only "way" to be saved. If you have an opportunity to cause a lost person to read all of Romans chapter 5, as you pray they will surely be convinced of sin. Allow God's Holy Spirit to draw the sinner. This is black and white, night and day comparisons.Read to know HIM. Amen

Psalm 15:1-5 For old Infantry soldiers this is a plain as FM 22-5,Drill and Ceremonies. There will always be evidence, enough evidence to convince and convict. What are you guilty of today, obedience or disobedience?Did you pick up on the promises?Reconsider Psalm 1, where you walk, stand and sit, to put things in order.

Proverbs 19:18-19 Do right, do right, do right, do right till the stars fall was a saying of Dr, Bob Jones.Don't let a few tears deter you as a parent, if you love your child and you want to deliver him. This is not an approval for abuse!Model your discipline to your children as you have been lovingly corrected and or chastised by GOD, your Heavenly Father. What is your motive? Take time to pray. You represent GOD.pj
July 18th Saturday and helping get projects under way, go shopping, playing golf with my son,Jay, and then taking my sweet wife on a date. Betty Lou is the Very Best Grand Mother in all the world. If you need authentication, let me connect you to the Johnson hot line so that PJ4 and AEJ,code names, will verify this truth and fact. This is not up for debate, the polls are closed and the people have spoken.Yea!

Proverbs 19:17 asks a good question"Who do you feel inclined to help"? Take this to the bank, GOD knows! What is your best investment plan paying in return? This is stewardship in action. Selah.

Psalm14:1-7 please read this very carefully and be careful how you use this in every day conversation. What "snap shot" did you pick out?How many verses did you take as fact? Have you determined where Zion is located? Is there any thing you can rejoice for now? How does this Psalm impact your concept of GOD? Selah.

Romans 4:14-5:2 Let us agree, Faith precedes Grace. What did The LORD give you so that you might have enough sense to have faith?Has GOD changed any of His ways in His dealings with His children? How do you respond to verse 24?Are you justified in the eyes of The LORD?The Peace with GOD and the Peace of GOD are different. Do you have them both? GOD knows our/yours/the past, present and the future. An old preacher from GA. said"Justified is best spelled just-as-if-I-had-never-sinned".Amen.

1st Chronicles 26:12-27:34 reminds us that GOD knows everything. Every thing in it's place and all men accounted for by name and family. One day the books will be opened. As you read, hopefully you notice some men are singled out for their past deeds while others are noted for wisdom. The Lord notices our efforts and our opportunities for service and our record will also be read. Do you remember who Ahithophel(v33) is and what is his connection to King David? Read to know HIM. pj

Friday, July 17, 2009

July 17th It is Friday and we are still here. Are you getting ready for Sunday? Please plan ahead, read daily and pray for all of the activities this coming Sunday.

Proverbs 19:15-16 calls into view our testimony and obedience to known truth. Look to see if there is a promise that is applicable. Now ask the question"What does GOD require of me today"?If we are slack that equates to being slothful. How do you say?

Psalm 13:1-6 Can you say "Praise The LORD" after reading these verses? If not, why not? What do you declare to GOD that you have done with what He has given you? We need to get a sharp view of GOD's plan of stewardship. Hear, believe, trust and obey!

Romans 4:1-13 What pleases GOD? Faith! Who called Abraham, a gentile, to faith? To demonstrate his faith Abraham, by believing what GOD said, was circumcised and it was recorded that righteousness was reckoned by grace/without works. What has happened to you because of and through the righteousness of faith? What is the condition of your heart? Suggest you read ahead, looking at 26 July, Romans 10:8-13. Is it true?

1st Chronicles 24:1-26:11 The Lord provides details that caused King David to organize the priest and Levites in their service for the tabernacle. I wonder if the 24 groups were to equate to the 24 hour daily care in the tabernacle. I find it very interesting how some of the men were designated mighty men of valor, strong, able men for strength for the service and some blessed of GOD. Hopefully you are encouraged by the details noted by The LORD and believe that He makes similar notes about our conduct in His books. One day we will hear all that is written. AMEN. pj

Thursday, July 16, 2009

July 16th Enjoying our grand children, having a good time feeding the ducks and turtles stale bread. How responsive the little ones are to clear instructions. O Lord cause me to learn a lesson from the children.

Proverbs 19:13-14 How are things in your house? Men/husbands take time to be kind and grateful for your gift from The LORD. If she is prudent, be doubly thankful and if she is not get busy and set a godly example for her to follow so that your father and in-laws will be thankful for a wise son. Please your father and serve your Heavenly Father. What did you learn from v10-12 yesterday?

Psalm12:1-8 Records the sad state of affairs that are very similar to conditions in the churches and our country today. How many promises did you find in these verses? How does this cause you to pray for our nation? You are going to have to judge what is going on as compared to GOD's Truth. Be responsible and take time to pray. Amen.

Romans 3:9-31 makes very plain that all have sinned! We have a real problem. There will be no success until we come into agreement with The Word of GOD.We are saved by faith! There is only ONE propitiation, The Lord Jesus Christ, for any and all of mankind sins.Take time to read these verse and see how many are statements of facts and then it may be easier to see why there is no fear of GOD.Men do not read nor hear The Word of GOD. Yet what does the creation speak to us of GOD and what does every man's conscience tell him? What kind of man says NO to The LORD? Let us demonstrate to the world our faith because we are saved. Follow The Leader!

1st Chronicles 22:1-23:32 records the provisions made by King David for his son Solomon to build the tabernacle. There are many verse that have a potential to tell us how to live. Look at v5 and see how this has been applied in your life?As you read the promises recorded for Solomon how do you see an application in your life, for example v13. One aspect of David's life for us to follow after would be his obedience to known truth as is demonstrated in chapter 23.Know the way and follow it. I like the expression"you can borrow brains but not character". Be right and then do right. If you summarize the reading for today what would it be? Read, think, meditate and share in your testimony, for example"The LORD blessed me today by allowing me to see or He taught me how to prepare for eternity." Share Him! pj

July 15th Hot day in sunny humid Conroe, Texas.Hopefully more people are reading their KJV 365 Bible to know Him.Hope we all are ready to give our testimony, being pressed in The Spirit, to persuade men to repent toward God and have faith in The Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for Skipper. Set a goal of 30 in class this Sunday.ucandoit.

Proverbs 19:10-12 All of us need to look up the definition of prudent and discretion. We will all be better off when we have wisdom to avoid evil and are cautious when we speak. The high road to treat others as Christ treats us is best. The gentle answer from our King is most comforting. Amen. Seek to please Him.

Psalm 11:1-7 We are encouraged to seek God and His ways of righteousness. It may be a good time to evaluate what we love and what we hate. Does this agree with GOD's list?

Romans 2:24-3:8 Our conduct and our conversation always represent The LORD.The inward spirit is a better example of what we are more than what we say we are. Stewardship and accountability will always be true.GOD is keeping perfect records.

1st Chronicles 19:1-21:30 Continues the wars and conflicts of King David. Watch for the events that are fist mentioned,v2-5,13,19,20:1,21:1-4,6,10,13-15 and 24. The stewardship principal demonstrated by King David should guide us today in the church. What are we spending of our own assets that The LORD has given to us personally in order to worship GOD?Where is the fire of The LORD as a response to our giving an offering as we confess our sins?We ought to sense His presence? Amen.pj

Tuesday, July 14, 2009

July 14th Let me tell you it is hot and humid in Conroe,Texas.Thank The LORD for the opportunity to care for our grandchildren for some days.Hope you all will stay true to your plan of reading and praying every day.We all read to know Him.Pray the opportunity to share this page with the facebook friends for many of them are from out of town and overseas. What might happened if we all were reading and obeying the Word of GOD?Let us seek unity not uniformity, but it would be exciting if all of us were marching in step, in battle dress, armed for the conflict following our Captain!

Proverbs 19:8-9 gives good advice.Look at the promise and beware.Love The LORD our Lord and yourself and others.Get wisdom and keep understanding. Amen.Selah.

Psalm 10:16-18 Fact! What a snap shot of GOD, The LORD is King for ever! Fact.

Romans 2:1-23 Learn a great truth,"For there is no respect of persons with God".Remember we will all give an account to Him!Apply the truth that is expressed in verse13, Evidence in in the works, because you have HEARD and applied.Evidence is written in the books by The LORD.Apply v4, hear, trust and obey. When you pray and say "O Lord I fear you" how do you explain fear?

1st Chronicles 16:37-18:17 David has almost got things in order so that Israel may have a central place to worship. The LORD denies David the privilege to build the tabernacle. How many times have we read the history as recorded by GOD's prophets? David prays and reminds GOD of the history and praises Him. We can learn how to adore The LORD our Lord and pray and praise while saying back to GOD what He has said to us.How many promises has GOD made to Israel? How many promises has The Lord made to the church? How many promises has GOD made to His children in the Psalms and Proverbs? How many apply to you? How many have you claimed? How many has The LORD recorded to your account? We are inexcusable. We have not loved our self if we have not applied what has been so lovingly given to us personally. Amen. Selah. pj

Monday, July 13, 2009

July 13th Thank The LORD for safe travel to Conroe. We will enjoy being Grandparents to our two in Conroe.Yesterday was very special day for me, to see our SS Class sitting at tables reading their Bibles and discussing how, where and why GOD had intervened in the lives of the people of the scriptures. It was a beautiful picture and truly a GIFT from The LORD.Thank you for praying for our 365 class. It was really neat to have visitors. We read to know Him.If you should have been there, and chose not to be there, please consider being on time next week. Bro. Skipper Bennett will be leading the class and you will be blessed.

This is Monday and a good time to be thankful. Are you saved? ARE YOU ACCEPTED IN THE BELOVED?Has GOD forgiven you of ALL your SINS,past, present and future? Are you, according to the scriptures, a son of GOD?Have you been justified, sanctified, placed into the hand of GOD and confident that you are prepared to meet The Lord in the air at His appearance? Are you taking your best friend(s) with you?Do all of your close acquaintances know your testimony? Now, what do you have to thankful for this day? Who are you grateful to? Who has favored you today with life? Thank GOD. Amen.

1st Chronicles 15:1-16:36 allows us to read about King David as he repairs the breach and complies with GOD's commandments concerning the ARK.Let us learn to trust and obey. Please, read the Book and do what The LORD tells us to be and do.Ask The Lord to show you what is His work and what is our work, wisdom to know the difference and the grace to comply.Be aware that when you put GOD first there will be many who will be jealous and hateful, but keep on doing right. Read the psalm of praise as a prayer of thanksgiving and note how much is made of His adoring GOD.

Romans 1:18-32 Who believes GOD? Can we agree with The LORD that ALL people are sinners and without excuse? Are you you grateful for the sure knowledge of your salvation experience?Learn a lesson that there are consequences from our sins that are now and for eternity, except we be forgiven and born again. For us we have the confidence that 1stJohn 1:9 is valid and we can be in fellowship with GOD.

Psalm 10:1-15 supports the cry from Romans that men are wicked and for The LORD to judge, yet not forget the humble. How do you learn to pray "The will of GOD be done" because you have read this Psalm? What attributes of GOD have you seen in today's reading? Read to know Him and look for His hand. Selah.

Proverbs 19:6-7 Do you agree that it is BEST to be friends with him who gives gifts? Now who has given you the BEST gift? Are you friends with Him? Is He friends with you? Do you keep His commandments? If not, why not? Selah. Love. pj

Saturday, July 11, 2009

July 12th Sunday! The first day of the new week.Hope you got up early, read, prayed and arrived to SS and Church early.Be sure to press your special SS Button just as you enter the parking lot.All people smile better when they push that"I'm really happy to be here"button. It will have an "infectious"impact on the ushers and members of your class.Consider this, Right after church the Rapture might happen.WOW!
Have you determined where Zion is located?

1st Chronicles 12:19-14:17 Finally David has the kingdom. What an army, what a grand reputation and war record of men who could keep rank and were not of double heart. What qualities did these men see in David that caused them to commit their life to serve him? What had The LORD done for David? Look for traits in David that you have seen in Jesus. How do others see Jesus in you? We are to be like our Master. Have you prayed to be made conformable unto His death(Phil 3:10b)?

Romans 1:1-17 This is the letter Phebe brought to the saints in Rome about two years before Paul arrived. Look at Chapter 16 to get a time line for this letter. The GOSPEL. This letter is full of truth, doctrine and sound practice for the saints. The basis for the saints prosperity is found in the verse 17"The just shall live by faith." Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ is for the saints. Tomorrow we will read the condition of the aints. How do you stand before GOD? Stewardship time is coming.

Psalm 9:13-20 Please be careful as you pray this prayer for America. We are in the nation that has forgotten GOD. Thanks be to The LORD that the saved will not suffer GOD's wrath, but be sure before the tribulation there will be much turmoil, strife, famine, peril, war and troubles. Perhaps v13 is a good verse for security. Selah.

Proverbs 19:4-5 Can we agree that there is a pay day coming. What is sown will be reaped, later, in excess, fruit of the seed planted and there is no crop failure. Be sure your sins will find you out.CONSEQUENCE! Be careful to hear, then to obey. pj

Friday, July 10, 2009

July 11th a day of opportunity. Take time to share truth with another. Who was influential in your salvation experience. Have you thanked The LORD for that person?
Hope to see you in SS Class @09:45. Come and be a blessing to us.

1st Chronicles 11:1-12:18 A roll call of mighty men of valor.I hope you read and re read these verses. I hope you want to be considered a mighty man of valor for GOD. David was blessed. Will Rogers said"we can't all be heroes, some of us have to stand on the curb and clap as they go by." Please clap for these men.Because David preferred God and put Him first, his men put David first. What a snapshot of selflessness. Who are you striving to please today?

Acts 28:1-31 The long journey is now complete, Paul is in Rome. Our SS Class in the correctional institute in Georgia,1980-92, was called "bound but free" based on these scriptures. We have heard the saying"where GOD leads,He feeds" or "where GOD guides,He provides" and these are so in this account of Paul's journey from Jerusalem to Rome. What has GOD given to Paul that He has not given to you? Please don't focus on the circumstances, but focus on GOD. When you cannot see His hand trust His heart. Paul penned Romans 7 & 8 for our benefit. The problem that Paul encountered is addressed in v26-31, but he continued in his preaching. How do you see The LORD working in these verses? Has He changed? How does this change your life?

Psalm 9:1-12 I have heard it said that if there were only one lost man GOD would have still sent His Son to save him. If you were the only saved person in your family, neighborhood, city, country, Continent would any one else hear about GOD'S favor toward you personally? How do you praise Him? Why do you praise Him? Does GOD consider you humble? Whom do you trust? Who has trusted GOD because of you? Selah.

Proverbs 19:1-3 Where did you get your integrity? Are you fretting against GOD? Do you remember Psalm 7:8 and have you asked The LORD to judge you, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me? If not, why not? Hope you continue to read to know Him. Think on His Word and His names. Amen. pj
July 10th Friday and Sunday is coming. Hope you are putting things in order for getting ready for SS and Church. Plan to be 5 minuets early so that you can greet your brothers and sisters with a Holy Kiss and bless them as The LORD has blessed you. What could/would happen if EVERY member of your church was present Sunday? What would be the IMPACT if EVERY member was SAVED and serving at 100%? Do you believe that this is the Will of GOD? Isn't it a shame if the only time the candle is really shining is when it is in the building called a church? Why did The LORD save and leave us here? How would you react/respond if GOD intervened? As you read today consider where and how The LORD got involved in the lives of the men in the Bible.

Proverbs 18:23-24 demonstrates how GOD is involved in our life, if we are His.We can't depend on the arm of flesh. Our joy is in and from The LORD. Psalm 62:5! Amen.

Psalm 8:1-9 What/WHO do you treasure most? Do you act like it is so?Of the near 700 Names of GOD in the KJV Bible, how many do you use when adoring Him? When you consider the heavens how do you appreciate His handiwork?Try to imagine what life would be if GOD had not intervened. Where would we be if He had not interceded for us? Take time to be grateful for His involvement in Every Thing and Every one. Amen.

Acts 27:21-44 Where would 276 souls be if The LORD had not intervened? Who caused the storm? Who caused the certain creek to be discovered? Whom did Paul believe? Why did the centurion commit to save Paul? Why did Paul believe? How important is it to hear the Word of GOD?How has The LORD given you the opportunity to hear His Word? What or how have you responded to His Word? He has acted, now it is your time. Amen.

1st Chronicles 9:1-10:14 Now that GOD has completed the genealogies He reviews their history. Here are the facts. Where would Israel and or Judah be today if they had responded and obeyed GOD?The LORD provided all they needed to succeed and be prosperous. When they cried and repented He intervened! Look at v4 and consider the lineage of Judah through Pharez. Do you recall who is a descendant of Pharez that is involved with the birth of Jesus? The LORD assigns duties and causes families to be in a position of being used and being blessed, even as doorkeepers and ushers. We need to spend time meditating on verses 10:13-14 and learn the divine principal of stewardship, lest we develop an improper concept of GOD. GOD will intervene and the consequence(s)of SIN will overtake. The wage of sin is death. The soul that sinneth shall surely die.We are LOST,UNDONE AND UNDER THE WRATH OF GOD and have NO hope, except The LORD our Lord intervene and save all those that believe. Can anyone shout Amen? Take time to be wholly Holy. Look at Romans 5:8 to see a truth. Selah. Amen. pj

Thursday, July 9, 2009

July 9th and here we go again. Where were you last year and what were you doing? It is fun and joy for us to look back at 1999 at read that our daughter and her family were visiting us here during the Peach Festival. In 06' all our family were together in VBC and it seemed as the prayer of Jabez was true for us that day. Please take notes and mark your 365 as you read daily, it will bless you next year.
NOTE - NOTE - Read your 365 Bible 1st. Sign up as a follower, please.

Proverbs 18:22 is true in my life! It is worth all our effort to read daily to know Him.If you get nothing else out of today's reading men, you are/have been blessed.

Psalm 7:1-17 is a good example for you to follow in praying back to The LORD and telling Him you trust Him. Spend some time seeking the fullest meaning implied in verse 8. Admit that v10 is true and that you believe it with all your heart. Amen.

ACTS 27:1-20 records a significant part of Paul's journey to Rome.Every man makes choices based on suppositions and or truth. Some are afforded the opportunity to see prophecy come to pass in their life. Some unbelievers treat believers with great kindness perhaps being persuaded by The Spirit even though they don't plan on it. We had a great series a few years back called "Treasures in Darkness" and it put emphasis on where GOD worked for our benefit when we thought all was lost. Why do you read every day? Why do you keep on when it does not look good? Believe GOD!

1st Chronicles 7:1-8:40 describes not only the genealogy of the children, but inserts some unique abilities that they possessed so that we might know them. What does this tell you about The Lord and His record keeping of facts for the day of accountability. Stewardship is important to GOD.What are you gifted with and why? What will GOD say about you and your ability to fight for His glory? Take note how often The LORD refers to men that are men of valor. As we read this report it ought to encourage/frighten us that nothing escapes the eyes and ears of GOD.OMNISCIENT. PJ

Wednesday, July 8, 2009

July 8th Hope you are having a blessed day and that you have read, prayed and put yourself in the position where GOD will use you to bless someone. I was blessed today by a young man who gave me some tomatoes and peppers from his garden. I was pleasantly surprised by a complimentary writeup in the Weatherford Telegram about the July 4th TEA Party. If you knew about the TEA Party and did not participate, shame on you. This is being down for us! We are the taxeeees!I think we have been taxed enough already.Where is an office that needs a good honest person to serve in that will be for the people? Will you serve? Can you be counted on? GOD bless the USA!

Proverbs 18:20-21 What do you love? What really gives you satisfaction? Can what you and I say cause a hearer to become saved? Can what we DON'T SAY cause a person to die in their sin and forever be separated from GOD and in Hell? Perhaps we do have power that we have been ignorant about. Oh, if we have known to do right and have done it not, that is SIN. Pray for The LORD to lead you in the right path.

Psalm6:1-10 Now, read the 1st verse and see if it applies to your life. We are called to be wholly Holy.GOD expects His children to live right and be separate and not unequally yoked to the ungodly. When you last prayed, did The LORD hear you?

Acts 26:1-32 Are you willing to give your testimony? Do you think yourself happy?Be a good listener to your target audience and then give the Gospel. If and when we act like Jesus we should not be surprised that the unbelievers and the backsliders will hate us.Be careful to include truth from the Old Testament-Law so that The Holy Spirit may convict of sin. It is and will always be a SAD Day when men will almost be persuaded. How much are you willing to be or do that some might be saved? We enjoy great freedom to witness today, but this is not our home and our Enemy is bent on destroying our testimony and even our life. YEA! Greater is He that is within us than he who is in the world.Jesus is KING and soon coming. Maranatha. Selah. Amen.

1st Chronicles 5:18-6:81 Don't be discouraged by the genealogy. Look for the key transition phrases like v6:20,25,38,29. One day our name will be added and read in Heaven.GOD keeps records and notes all the details. He expects us to do right. This record keeping ought to have a positive impact on your concept of GOD. This year, how many times have you read the history of the children of GOD? Let me caution you to not get down in the weeds so far that you miss HIM. Be available to The LORD. pj

Tuesday, July 7, 2009

July 7th, Tuesday. WOW! What do you have to enjoy that The LORD has given to you? Let all of us take a few minuets early/first thing in the AM and be grateful, thankful and appreciative for our blessings.

Proverbs 18:19 declares a bad situation is hard to remedy. When we look man to man it may be easier to think of what we can do or should have done, but that is not so with The Lord Jesus our big brother.Have you ever offended your heavenly brother?Has He ever offended you? We need to practice treating our earthly brothers as if they were as Jesus Christ. In 1999 I ask The LORD to "cause me" to not be offended and to not be offensive. He has done His part, but I have failed Him many times. Please memorize Psalm 119:165 and put it into practice. All for His glory. Amen.

Psalm 5:1-12 If we had read this Psalm before we read the verses in Acts we would have thought these were the words and prayer of Paul. O Lord, bless me indeed and show me the way. Hope you have developed the habit of marking "snapshots" beside some of the verses like 1-6. Let this mental picture dwell in your thoughts through out the day as you meditate. Do you sense a need to claim verse 12 as a promise verse for yourself? Read the verse and pray it back while you see the blessing take note of the conditions associated with the blessing. He will if you will. Live by faith in what you read is true and by believing you are acting on GOD's Word. Amen.

Acts 25:1-27 records how GOD caused three officials to be exposed to The Gospel through Paul. What has GOD given to Paul that He has not given to you? Focus on GOD, read to know Him.It is interesting to see peer pressure affecting Felix, Festus and Agrippa. Is this not jihad? Is not jihad a spiritual battle over who is the true GOD? We can see the concept of GOD and His Christ as expressed by Paul VERY different that of the Jew's high priest and his associates. There is only ONE Gospel! There is only ONE way to GOD The Father(Jehovah, El Shaddai, I Am, Elohim, El Elyon or Yahweh) and that is through The SON,The God Man,(born of a virgin, lived a perfect sinless life, was crucified, died, was buried and He arose on the third day according to scriptures and is alive and has ascended into heaven) Jesus Christ. Maranatha!

1st Chronicles 4:5-5:17 continues the genealogy of GOD's chosen people. How does this encourage you and reinforce your concept of GOD? There are several sets of verses that give a snapshot of GOD. The prayer of Jabez(4:10) ought to grab your attention because of it being so unique.I've read that names of men ending in"el" are men blessed of GOD. I've claimed the four part prayer for myself and believe GOD will do for me as he did for Jabez.Have you ask The LORD to bless you indeed? If not, why not? Is it your goal/desire/dream/prayer for GOD to consider you honourable? We cannot blame circumstances nor our parents for our lack of faith. pj

July 6th, Here we are on Monday and we get to see GOD's handiwork this side of glory. Perhaps we will see the world from a heavenly view sooner than we expect. Are you ready to fly away? Do you have your papers in order, ticket in your pocket, bags packed sitting by the front door? While you are reading to know Him are you listening for the sound of the trumpet? Is that multi-tasking or not?
Are you accepted in the beloved? Have you been forgiven of all your sins? Are you glad and happy that the wrath of GOD has been taken from off your head? When was the last time you thanked The LORD for The Lord Jesus? Take time to be wholly Holy. We are saved and here for a purpose. Let us be about our Father's business. Say often"GOD bless America" and tell GOD that He can count on you to be prepared, by His GRACE,to do anything, go anywhere, any time, with any one for any reason. Amen.

1st Chronicles 2:18-4:4 continues the lineage of the fathers that GOD recorded so that we might see His interest in how His children do their families. GOD recorded where separation was not followed and an Egyptian got mixed in with the Jews. Let us have confidence that all we do, say, think and react to are written down in God's books. We also get to see the linage of Joseph and Mary. GOD is Omniscient!

Acts 24:1-27 It is amazing how The LORD makes all things to work together. Note the turn of events where what Paul was being charged with by the Jews is very similar to what he had been commissioned to do earlier.Paul had a great reputation as noted in verse 5. What kind of reputation do we have in the world? Take note the impact that Paul, as a prisoner, had for two years upon Felix and his wife.Verse 24,25 explains Pauls lesson plan, yet verse 26 shows the motive of Felix.

Psalm 4:1-8 What do you think about when you read,Selah? Is it reasonable for The LORD to say back to us when we pray,"hear me O GOD", that He would say I will as you hear me. Do you trust in The LORD? What are you doing with the gladness that He has put into your heart? Do you lay down at night in peace and know that you are safe? If not, why not? Look at, hear and heed Psalm 119:165.

Proverbs 18:16-18 will cause us to ponder these truths. We need to take time and observe what all The LORD has and is doing in our life. What are you doing with the gift(S)GOD has put into our lives for His glory and our joy? Be right(doctrine)and then Do right(practice)because you have been made right. This is not our home! pj

Please pray for my wife. As she was walking around in our neighborhood this AM she was attacked and bitten by an unattended dog. The police and paramedics responded and we took her to the ER for an evaluation, a tetanus shot and a prescription for antibiotics to counter infections. ALL is in order now, the dog was found and identified and is to be quarantined to determine it's health condition. Thank you.
**PS We had a GREAR T.E.A. Party and The LORD blessed.

July 5th,Sunday is here and we are still here, and if you are not here for the same reason that I am here, then you may be here after I am gone. When you get to SS and Church be on time, prayed up,teachable and ready to praise The LORD and be edified.Remember your stewardship and tithe.Has GOD blessed you? How was the TEA Party?

1st Chronicles 1:1-2:17 Yea for a clean list of men who have influenced my life. Read this and see how you have been blessed because some have staid by the stuff.

Acts 23:11-35It still amazes me how little things mean a lot. I'm sure Paul was grateful for a nephew that was hearing and sharing facts that affected his life. This was not gossipping. It will be interesting to see the interaction of Paul and Felix. Check out how the door of opportunity to speak for the Lord given to Paul, now who wants to go to jail for that? Paul is a Christian in action 24/7/365.

Psalm 3:1-8 As we read through the Psalms the second time, make note the things you see this time that you missed before. I've read through the Psalms more than 25 times, and today I was reminded of Elijah as I read verse 5, and it made me to confess my sin of not being thankful. Thank The LORD for forgiveness.

Proverbs 18:14-15 you may be down but you don't have to be counted out. Get up and play hurt anyway, because some weaker smaller brother may need you today.Does The LORD consider you wise and prudent? We need to take care of what we hear, sense, feel and think about, lest we get overtaken in a fault and get our spirit wounded. PLEASE-PLEASE-PLEASE look at Palm 62:5 and meditate on this . Selah. Amen. pj
July 4th, YEA 233 BD for our America! Our son,the third, was born on the 4th.We are excited about the T.E.A.Party this PM. Hope you plan to be there and celebrate with us at 5:30-7PM at the Weatherford College Amphitheatre.Sunday is coming and we get to celebrate our freedom from the wrath of GOD. Read, pray and be on time for SS and Church. Let our lights shine because we are the sons of GOD.It's all for His glory.

2ndKings 23:31-25:30 The days of on and off again for The LORD are about to end.Look at Hebrews 9:27.Let us not be confused about the mercy of GOD. Let us not be slack in our stewardship of the gifts of GOD that are in our life.Let us not forget what is the wage of sin.Every man, woman and child is personally responsible for their conduct.Remember where the ten tribes of Israel are today, Remember what GOD said about King David, Solomon, Asa, Jehoshaphat, Joash, Amaziah, Uzziah, Jotham, Hezekiah,(Manasseh)and Josiah as kings for Judah. Now read what happens in the last days under King Jehoahaz,Jehoiakim,Jehoiachin and Zedekiah. In your concept of GOD you need to have verses 23:37;24:2-4,13-16,20;25:7-9,21 to teach you GOD's will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. How do you consider the USA is standing with GOD? What are you going to do to cause The LORD to favor us again? It is not to late.

Acts 22:17-23:10 How does your conversion sound like Saul's?How many languages did Saul/Paul speak? How do you see Romans 8:28- coming into view in Paul's life?We must remember it is better to fear Him who can destroy body and soul more that those who can abuse our body even unto death. We do not select when nor where we are to die.

Psalm 2:1-12 Can you see Paul quoting verses 1-2 as he was standing by the high priest Ananias and being slapped in the face? We get to see a snap shot of Jesus in this Psalm and we ought to be grateful for this wisdom. Perhaps our level of fear and rejoicing with trembling is relative to our service to The Lord. Comply with verse 12 or be ashamed. We have a choice to trust and obey or go our own way.Selah.

Proverbs 18:13 is great advice implying a promise for future benefits.Don't just listen, hear what is being said. Seek the wisdom of GOD.Speak to GOD first. Amen, pj

July 3rd, Yea it is Friday and Sunday is coming. The July 4th T.E.A. Party rally will be at 5:30PM at weatherford College ampitheatre, plan to attend. Start preparing for Sunday now. Stay current on your reading and praying and be a participant in our class so that we may learn from you about how The LORD is blessing you and yours.

2nd Kings 22:3-23:30

Acts 21:37-22:16

Psalm 1:1-6

Proverbs 18:11-12 What a hard lesson to teach and to learn.Pride is our downfall. There is a harsh promise here, do you see the promise? Fact, before honour there is(will be) humility. Fact. When we resist GOD, what are we?When we say we do not need The LORD what are we saying? Let us be fast to hear and slow to speak. Amen pj

July 2nd Thursday and Sunday is coming.Have you seen any clouds today? Maranatha.

2nd Kings 20:1-22:2 What do you think about King Hezekiah's attitude? How does GOD's response to the kings prayer impact your concept of GOD. Do you expect for The LORD to stop-backup the sundial for you so that you will believe?Compare what happened in those 15 years and choose was it good or bad? What kind of influence did the king and the prophet have on Manasseh? Why do we get a blessing and turn right around and get a curse because we abuse the gift? WHY?Is there a learning loss? How long has it been since Israel went away? Do we ever learn? What paralell do you draw with the USA and Israel and Judah?Follow the deeds of bad, good, bad, good kings and their sons. What do you plan to do with your life? How will this affect your family? Will GOD be pleased?

Acts 21:18-36 can be misunderstood. Works do not save us nor do keeping traditions gain us salvation from our sins. All must be saved by faith. When we are saved we will do "all things or be all things that some might be saved". Don't think that I am suggesting any immoral or illegal act, but know what is the truth and live that to the fullest, being pressed in the Spirit persuade men to repent towards GOD and have faith in Jesus Christ.Do you remember how they treated Jesus?

Psalm 150:1-6 Why don't you act out this Psalm? Is it possible to "overpraise" The LORD? What ever you have use it to honor The LORD, for He is worthy to be praised.

Proverbs 18:9-10 Where do run to when danger is real? What do you call GOD? Do you think of yourself as being a great waster? If we do no more than the Pharisee, how can we brag on ourselves? What have we ever done that was above our ability? Amen. pj
