24 August 2014 Sunday-Yea! Hope you read today and were able to attend a good Church that has the Bible as the only book, practiced the ways similar to those of the Church that Jesus started and you were edified for the ministry. I attend an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church that is as near as possible to that first church. I pray you peace and prosperity as you read to know Him.

24 Sun Job 12:1-15:35, 1stCorinthians 15:29-58, Psalm 39:1-13 & Proverbs 21:30-31.  Expect to meet God when you get to your wits end. What attribute of God did you learn today? Have you died today? God’s commandments are not grievous. Read and share the truths of the promises given concerning the victory in Jesus. Our safety is The Lord our LORD.

25 Mon Job 16:1-19:29, 1stCorinthians 16:1-24, Psalm 40:1-10 & Proverbs 22:1. All men will be required to give an answer to God. How does reading Job affect your concept of God? Does God see you as one “addicted” to the scriptures? How do you relate to Psalm 40? Share your testimony and begin where God began. What good name have you chosen?
26 Tue Job 20:1-22:30, 2ndCorinthians 1:1-11, Psalm 40:11-17 & Proverbs 22:2-4. Why do you serve God? If you don’t, why? Be prepared to give an account. God gives the church and you and me a 2nd chance. Take advantage of His offer. How do you say thanks when you consider God Almighty thinks about you?  Are you prudent and humble before God?

27 Wed Job 23:1-27:23, 2ndCorinthians 2:12-2:11, Psalm 41:1-13 & Proverbs 22:5-6. Have you come to the conclusion that GOD knows all of the ways that you take? What attribute of God did you appreciate today? What ha God done for you that He did for Paul? How do you practice benevolence?  As you were trained have you walked far from the thorns?

28 Thu Job 28:1-30:31, 2ndCorinthians 2:1-17, Psalm 42:1-11 & Proverbs 22:7. What “snapshot” of God did you see and take today? Has God ever forsaken you? How have you confessed your sins to God today? Do you thirst after God and His Word? How do you appreciate the lovingkindness of God? God does sing over us!  Be careful who you owe $$?
29 Fri Job 31:1-33:33, 2ndCorinthians 3:1-18, Psalm 3:1-15 & Proverbs 22:8-9. We need to be careful as we remember what God has done for us and not what we have done for Him. Be prepared to answer God. Hear what God is speaking to you today and obey. Like it or not, if you are saved, you are a minister for God and His Spirit is in you. Now read Psalm 43 again.

30 Sat Job 34:1-36:33, 2ndCorinthians 4:1-12, Palm 44:1-8 & Proverbs 22:10-12. How do you intercede for others? Do you seek to order your prayers to be in agreement with those of The Lord Jesus Christ? Allow God’s Holy Spirit to minister to you through Paul’s letter. Stand with and stand for God for Jesus’ sake. Get and BE agreed with God.
Be sensitive to the soon return of The Lord Jesus Christ in the clouds ** Maranatha (1stCorinthians 16:22) ** and GET RIGHT and then BE right and DO right and don’t quit until the trumpet sounds. We have The Blessed Hope! Share this Truth today.

18 August 2014, Monday and summer is almost gone and there are many whom have not yet been saved nor even been given God's gospel. We have not been good watchmen! James 4:17.

This is the lesson for the period 17-23 August.  Please read the Bible then, if possible consider the comments.  Lesson   #34 One Year Bible Comments 17-23 August 2014.  What are you going to be and do so that another person, your friend or foe, may be with God and you in heaven?  Read your Bible to know God. What Attributes of God have you learned this month? What have you hid in your heart? Walk and BE in agreement with God.

Apply the Proverb 21:16 this week in all your adventures.

Sun 17 Nehemiah 1:27-13:31, 1stCorinthians 11:1-16, Psalm 35:1-16 & Proverbs 21:21-22. How many times have you read about the history of God and His people? Consider how many years had passed that some of these had never heard what God had done for the Jews. Be careful who you let, like a Tobiah, creep into your house. Take time to write out your next prayer. Have you asked God to plead your cause?
Mon 18 Ester 1:1-3:15, 1stCorinthians 11:17-34, Psalm 35:17-28 & Proverbs 21:19-20. Look for the hand of God in all matters. What have you received from God through The Bible that you have not yet shared? Prepare your heart and mind every day to receive His daily bread and cup so that you may know Him. Practice Psalm 35:24.

Tue 19 Ester 4:1-7:10,1stCorinthians 12:1-26, Psalm 36:1-12 & Proverbs 21:21-22. Even in the palace all dressed up Fear God. See Jesus Christ in all men or don’t look at all. Look at Ephesians 2:8-10. What promise did you get from Psalm 36? Do the Proverb by discipline on purpose.
Wed 20 Ester 8:1-10:3, 1stCorinthians 12:27-13:13, Psalm 37:1-11 & Proverbs 21:23-24. Read to see and know God and then believe what you read and see. It is good news that God will save, but what is good about good news not getting there on time, be a good watchman. Wade around in the beauty and depth of 1stCoribthians 13. Note, learn and APPLY daily the action verbs given in Psalm 37.Don’t be or get proud.

Thu 21 Job 1:1-3:26, 1stCorinthians 14:1-17, Psalm 37:12-29 & Proverbs 21:25-26. How did God describe Job? How does God describe you? Has God allowed Satan to touch some of your “precious” things? How have you or did you respond to God? Read to know God and strive to edify others. Focus on God in all circumstances.
Fri 22 Job 4:1-7:21, 1stCorinthians 14:18-40 & Proverbs 21:27. Be careful of your friends. If you listen to them strive to HEAR God. Allow 1stCorinthians 14:33 & 40 to guide you in all matters. Keep your mind clean.

Sat 23 Job 8:1-11:20, 1stCorinthians 15:1-28, Psalm 38:1-22 & Proverbs 21:28-29. God is Omniscient. He hears every spoken word and knows every man. God will reveal all secrets. Spend time in 1stCorinthians 15 to be better able to share the gospel. Bare your soul to God and He will wash you white as snow. Be a true witness.
How have the Truths given in the Bible this week changed you? Do you appreciate your salvation more today? Has your prayer time become MORE sweeter? Has your attitude toward others become more Christ like? Have you confessed sins and sensed God’s cleansing and forgiveness?

 Have you refined your concept of God because of your reading? Have you become MORE aware of His traits, attributes and ways? Are you ready for the SOON RETURN of The Lord Jesus Christ?  IF not, why not?

Thursday 14 August 2014 This is the lesson for this week. I apologize for being late, please forgive me as you read to know God. Lesson # 33  One Year Bible Comments for the week of  10-16 August 2014.
If you KNOW where you will be in 100Years, have you asked your neighbor Read your Bible first to know God, and then consider the comments. Ponder Psalms 119:165 and 138:2. Do you read with you family in front of the children the Bible aloud?   
Sun 10 Aug Sun Ezra 10:1-44, 1stCorinthians 6:1-20, Psalm 31:9-18 & Proverbs 21:3.How does your prayers and prayer life compare to Ezra’s? How much time to you spend in confession as compared to telling God what He already knows? It is good to review what God through Jesus Christ has done for you. How do you trust in the LORD? What did you trust Him for today? How do you apply the Proverb 21:3 in your life each day?
11 Aug Nehemiah 1:1-3:14, 1stCorinthians 7:1-24, Psalm 31:19-24 & Proverbs 21:4. Look for the Hand of God in the circumstance s at the palace. Focus on God and not just His creation. What do you “really” care enough about to weep over? What stewardship principle did you learn today? Is there peace in your marriage and in your home? What promise did you get from the Psalm and the Proverb?

12 Aug Nehemiah3:15-5:13, 1stCorinthians 7:25--40, Psalm 32:1-11 & Proverbs 21:5-7. How did you find a sense of community being demonstrated in the work on the wall? Do you “consult with yourself” often in times of stress and peace? Are your sins forgiven?
Wed 13 Aug Nehemiah 5:14-7:73, 1stCorinthians 8”1-13, Psalm 33:1-11 & Proverbs 21:8-10.How often do you express your thanksgivings to God? How do you put others first? Are you in awe of God? Are you happy at home? Read to know God and seek His peace.

14 Aug Nehemiah 7:73-9:21, 1stCorinthians 9:1-18, Psalm 33:12-22 & Proverbs 21:11-12. How do you respond to the opening and reading the Word of God? There should be no difference in the church and at your home. What do you glory in? Are you a servant to all men? Do you hope in God, alone? How is Psalm 1 similar to the Proverb today?
15 Aug Nehemiah 9:22-10:39, 1stCorinthians 9:19-10:13, Psalm 34:1-10 & Proverbs 21:13. How may delight lead to disobedience? Can a blessing be turned to a curse?  How do you fear God? Because of your salvation what are you willing to be and do that others might be saved?  Who is encamped about you? Practice benevolence.

Sat 16 Nehemiah 11:1-12:26, 1stCorinthians 10:14-33, Psalm 34:11-22 & Proverbs 21:14-16. What have you willingly offered to be and do for the cause of Christ? How is Psalm 119:165 akin to the reading in 1stCorinthians today? How do you validate those you follow? What have you been taught about the fear of the LORD? Do you trust God and His Word?
Because you have read this week, you now have the Truth so how has IT changed you? Do you appreciate your salvation more today? Has your prayer time become sweeter? Have you refined your concept of God because of becoming MORE aware of His traits, attributes and ways? IF not, why not? Be sensitive to the soon return of The Lord Jesus Christ in the clouds. What are you going to be and do so that that person may be with God and you in heaven? Read your Bible first to know God, and then consider the comments.
Sun 3 Aug 2ndChronicles 33:14-34:33, Romans 16:10-27, Psalm 26:1-12 & Proverbs 20:19. What evidence did you see that Manasseh repented to God for his sins? What was Hilkiah famous for doing? What attributes of God did you see as Huldah gave advice for the king? What conditions are associated with the blessings expressed in Romans? Are you walking in your integrity because you read your Bible to know God?
Mon 4 2ndChronicles 35:1-36: 23,1stCorinthians 1:1-17, Psalm 27:1-6 & Proverbs 20:20-21. How does 36:12-16 affect and impact your concept of God? How is God described in 1stCorinthians? Is God your light? How does the Proverb for today remind you of the prodigal son in Luke 15?
Tue 5 Ezra 1:1-2:70, 1stCorinthians 1:18-2:5, Psalm 27:7-14 & Proverbs 20:22-23. Consider Ezra as God uses him during the return of the Jews to Jerusalem. How long were the Jews in captivity? Why were they in captivity? What did you learn from 1stCorninthians 1:29 & 2:5 & Psalm 27:13-14?
Wed 6 Ezra 3:1-4:23, 1stCorinthians 2:6-3:4, Psalm 28:1-9 & Proverbs 20:24-25. Who were the enemies of the Jews? How does 1stCorinthians 2:9-16 relate to this situation given in Ezra? Pray back the Psalm today as you pray for your Nation.
Thu 7 Ezra 4:24-6:22, 1stCorinthians 3:5023, Psalm 29:1-11 & Proverbs 20:26-27.Why do you read your Bible and then not be or do what the Bible says for you to be and do?  Do you want to be in the state of revival? How is stewardship shown in Corinthians & Psalm 29 today?  How is your candle working today?
Fri 8 Ezra 7:1-8:20, 1stCorinthians 4:1-12, Psalm 30:1-12 & Proverbs 20:28-30.  
Sat 9 Ezra 8:21-9:15, 1stCorinthians 5:1-13, Psalm 31:1-8 & Proverbs 21:1-2.
