Wednesday 22January 2014, Friday is near and Sunday is coming. I hope you have been reading to know God and come to the assurance that you are forgiven, heaven bound and striving to cause others to be saved.  Please read until eternity begins then all of our faith will become sight and we will know HIM and be with God forever, Maranatha.  This lesson is prepared to encourage you to read The Bible and then to consider some of my concerns and recommendations.

4th  Lesson 2014 One Year Bible.              Sunday 19 January 2014 could have been The Day, Maranatha!   As we read today are we expecting to hear from God that we might know Him. Please post at www.facebook.com/BarnabasImpact your comments.

PLEASE READ The Bible first then consider the questions.  Reading for this week:
Sun 19Jan   Genesis 39:1-41:16, Matthew 12:46-13:23, Psalm 17:1-15 & Proverbs 3:33-35.   Be sensitive as to how provides leadership to His children. Learn and seek to be in the place so that you may see and hear God's words and signs(Psalm 19 & John 3:12) and because of this "sight" you may go forward in obedience living by "faith". Rely on what is said in the Bible and not what man thinks. Accept and believe the Truth that Jesus speaks. Pray back the psalms. Seek to enjoy the grace//favor of God.

Mon 20Jan Genesis 41:17-42:17, Matthew 13:24-46, Psalm 18:1-15 & Proverbs 4:1-6.
Accept the warnings given and avoid evil. Read and believe the Bible. Egypt was the center of the world for a while but Jerusalem is the epicenter of the world for God's word. Allow the Holy Spirit to teach you the value of the parable and wait for the explanation from God. Take time to read all of Psalm 18 and then select your favorite verse. Determine the admonitions from the proverbs and cause them to direct you.

Tue 21Jan Genesis 42:18-43:34, Matthew13:47-14:13, Psalm 18:16-34 & Proverbs 4:7-10.   Adopt the attitude of Joseph given at v43:18 and live each day in God's favor. Be concerned for those who do not read nor know God for Matthew 13:58 will come to pass. Read and receive/believe God's sayings. In my opinion it is never right to do wrong that you might do right later. Joseph is a good role model yet he is not Jesus.
Wed 22Jan Genesis 44:1-45:28, Matthew14:14-36, Psalm 18:35-5- & Proverbs 4:11-13. Learn the stewardship principals expressed by God through Joseph. Expect God to show you the way. Spend time in the scriptures and meditate all day as you follow Him. Read and trust God in the flesh, Jesus Christ, and as Peter be willing to follow as HE leads. Remember, God knows us as His sons and we are kings and priest, act right.
Thu 23Jan Genesis 46:1-47:31, Matthew 15:1-28, Psalm19:1-14 & Proverbs 4:14-19. God will put good people in leadership positions in the government. Visit Romans 8:28. Be wary of traditions. Be alert to God's Words and Ways. We must choose wisely every day whom/what we follow. Hide Psalm 19 in your heart and say it every day as you watch and hear God. Be careful where you walk and visit again Psalm 1 for advice.
Fri 24Jan Genesis 48:1-49:33, Matthew 15:29:16:12, Psalm 20:1-9 & Proverbs 4:20-27. Attend as to how men pray and follow their example. Remember God is Omniscient. Adopt Jesus' attitude towards people and practice compassion to them. Hear what is being said by Jesus and don't add to your misunderstanding by guessing as to what words mean. Look up and learn. Rejoice, know His names and words, say them often.
Sat 25Jan Genesis 50-Exodus 2:10, Matthew 16:13-17:9, Psalm 21:1-13 & Proverbs 5:1-6. Accept the transition from the 400 years of time in Egypt to the time of Moses and look for how God acted. Recall who Israel is and when his name was changed. Focus on God. Note the question at Matthew 16:31 and rehearse how you would answer  the question. Selah is used to suggest the reader to stop, pause, reflect and reconsider what they had just read. Now pay attention to Proverbs 5.
As you read this week to know God, read aloud even if you are reading by yourself.  Discipline yourself to apply and practice for your lifestyle Micah 6:8..."to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God." Seek God diligently   I hope you read because you want to know Him. If I can serve you let me know. Read John 3:12, James 4:17 and Psalm 1.

Wednesday 15 January 2014, Friday is very close and Sunday is coming. Are you prepared for eternity?  Please read your Bible first then consider the comments and suggestions.

3rd  Lesson 2014 One Year Bible
Sunday 12 January 2014 This could have been The Day-Rapture, Maranatha!   As we read today are  expecting to hear from God that we might know Him. If you like what you are reading and this is beneficial to you post at www.facebook.com/BarnabasImpact your comment.
As you read this week to know God, read aloud even if you are reading by yourself.  Look at 1stJohn 1:1-10 and get a sense of what you have in your hand and what God would have you appreciate.  Make a "snapshot(mental picture)" of what you see and throughout the day reflect on what you have enjoyed. Look ahead to Psalm 119:9-11 and practice what you have read. Discipline yourself to apply and practice for your lifestyle Micah 6:8..."to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God."

PLEASE READ The Bible first then consider the questions.  Reading for this week will be:
Sun 12Jan   Genesis 26:17-27:46, Matthew 9:1-17, Psalm 10:16-18 & Proverbs 3:9-10.
Say often to yourself "The LORD is king."  Strive to be a good steward of God's blessings in your life.

Mon 13Jan  Genesis 28:1-29:35, Matthew9:18-38, Psalm 11:`1-7 & Proverbs 3:11-12.
Do not resist the leadership of God. As a son, respect and fear your heavenly Father. Seek the blessings of God. Hear what He has done to His children and then remind Him you want to be blessed and to please Him. Focus on EL of Beth-EL. Pay your tithe.  Obey known truths. Believe that He is able to be and do all you will ever need, require or desire. Practice putting your "trust" in The Lord Jesus Christ.
Tue 14Jan  Genesis 30:1-31:16, Matthew 10:1-26, Psalm 12:1-8 & Proverbs 3:13-15.
First rest in The Lord and when you sense He is not near or you have a loss or fear of the circumstances, quickly cry unto God and say "Help, LORD".  Seek for wisdom. Read and believe the Proverbs for today. Learn that everything we have and hope to be begins with the breath and calling of The LORD GOD Almighty on our soul and life. We have been saved to serve God. We are not our own. Get over your selfishness and submit to His kind mercy and wonderful grace. He is God.

Wed 15Jan   Genesis 31:17-32:12, Matthew10:27-11:6, Psalm 13:1-6 & Proverbs 3:16-18.
Develop your vocabulary by using the words found in the KJV Bible. As you read aloud sound out the words and phrases.  If you do not know the meaning get a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance and a Webster 1828 Dictionary and look it up. Learn to use God's words when you speak to God in prayer and praise. Accept the promises and be aware of the conditions as they are written.

Thu 16Jan  Genesis 32:13-34:31, Matthew 11:7-30, Psalm 14:1-7 & Proverbs 3:19-20.
Reflect where Jacob was when you read on the 15th. He did not know what God had in mind for him as we read today. Learn that God knows everything about everybody all the time. We may fear but we must follow. God knows what we are facing and the outcome is to make his children more like His only begotten Son. Read, believe and rely on Matthew 11:27-29.  Don't be as the fool.

Fri 17Jan  Genesis35:1-36:43, matthew12:1-21, Psalm 15:1-5 & Proverbs 3:21-26.
Go back and read again Proverbs 3:1-35  and consider this as a model for your life.

Sat 18Jan  Genesis 37:1-38:30, Matthew 12:22-45, Psalm16:1-11 & Proverbs 3:27-32.
Because you have read today, do you believe that God is able and willing to preserve you in every moment of your life? If not, take time to read Psalm 1, Psalm 23 and John 1. If you believe He will do as He has said, take time to say thank you. God loves you unconditionally. He does not love you more or less because you read or do not read your Bible to know Him. Learn the difference between being saved and being unsaved.

Thursday, January 9, 2014

Thursday 9 January 2014, Friday is near and Sunday is coming. Are you ready and prepared to meet God? Take time to read your Bible today to know God. If you have read your Bible and considered the questions from this blog and want to comment, please go the facebook.com/BarnabasImpact and post. I've prepared some hints on ways to read your One Year Bible and they are posted at VBCInfo.com under Ministries and shown as "365".

Read Genesis 22. As you read Genesis 22 again look for the traits and attributes of God. Consider that this account of an event in the life of Isaac and Abraham is being told to Moses by God so that we might read to know the mind and heart of God, our heavenly Father.

Read early each day, look to the East, consider Psalm 19 seek diligently to know God.

Saturday, January 4, 2014

Sunday 5 January 2014 This could be The Day-Rapture, Maranatha! Read today expecting to hear from God that you might know Him.

Look for Truths as you see them for the first time and seek to have them impact your concept of God.

Sun 5Jan  Genesis 11:1-13:4, Matthew 5:1-26, Psalm 5:1-12 & Proverbs 1:24-28.
Be sensitive to God's leadership.  Pay attention to the lifestyle of a believer given by Jesus.  Practice the Psalm 5:11. Be warned by the Proverbs
.
Mon 6Jan  Genesis 13:5-15:21, Matthew5:27-48, Psalm 6:1-10 & Proverbs 1:29-33.
Be careful at the opportunities before you, choose wisely, seek The Lord's leadership. Don't listen, HEAR what The Lord says. Develop a true reverential fear of God.

Tue 7Jan  Genesis 16:1-18:19, Matthw6:1-24, Psalm 7:1-17 & Proverbs 2:1-5.
Develop a confident faith that God hears and knows best. He will show you the path to follow-obey. Stewardship begins in the heart of man. What is in your heart will show up in your hand/lifestyle. trust in The LORD if He is your God. Hear, believe and receive God's words.

Wed 8Jan  Genesis 18:20-19:38, Matthew6:25-7:14, Psalm 8:1-9 & Proverbs 2:6-17.
Let Gen 8:23-33 impact your concept of the mercy, holiness and justice. God hate SIN and loves the sinner, yet the wage of sin is death. Let Matt 6:31-34 guide you each day.  Develop your list of the names of God as you learn His traits and attributes. Read and believe the promises given in the proverbs and be alert to the conditions associated with each promise.

Thu 9Jan  Genesis 20:1-22:24, Matthew 7:15_29, Psalm 9:1-12 & Proverbs 2:18-22.
How has God dealt with you in the integrity of your heart? Is He not Omniscient?  How are we to determine and be wary of false prophets today? We MUST know the Truth in order to recognize a lie. Have you and did you say AMEN to Psalm 9? Be alert, walk in the way of a good man.

Fri 10Jan  Genesis 23:1-24:51, Matthew 8:1-17, Psalm 9:13-20 & Proverbs 3:1-6.
Is there anything too hard for The Lord God Almighty? Your answer will dictate your life. O to be as the eldest servant of Abraham as recorded at v24:27. Do you have or want to have faith as did the centurion?  How do you begin your prayers? What is the focus of your prayers? Make a great effort to read, learn and practice Proverbs 3:6-8.

Sat 11Jan  Genesis 24:52-26:16, Matthew 8:18-34, Psalm 10:1-15 & Proverbs 3:7-8.
What did you learn about yourself as you read about Rebekah's faith in action at v24:58? How will the truth given at v26:2-5 impact your concept of God? What happens to our trust when we say "yes, but" to The Lord? What have you missed? How was God's holiness shown in the psalm?

We read that we might know God. He has recorded His truths so that all men might know Him. Faith is a demonstration of what we believe. If we believe that God wants all men to hear and know Him and we do not go and tell or spend and send what kind of follower are we? Tell someone today! If you do not know Him as your Saviour, let us assist you in the scriptures. If you are not going to tell, get in a local church and support the missions activities. We have The Good News!! But it is not good news if it does not get there on time, before it is tooooo late. We are responsible.
4 January 2014, Saturday and Sunday is coming. If you "really" knew with out any doubt that the Rapture or you were going to die would happen at midnight today, what would you do between now and then?
Reading Psalm 4 and Proverbs 1:20-23 offers good advice and it relates to Matthew 4:17-25. Marantha is real. Hebrews 9:27 is so. Micah 6:8 is worthwhile. God knows and remembers.

Read to know God. Hope you are able to associate with a Bible centered fundamental church that is near like the church Jesus started. If you are concerned contact at www.facebook.com/BarnabasImpact.

Wednesday, January 1, 2014

1 January 2014 Wednesday, happy New Year. This year we will post suggested readings of the Bible for daily reading to know God. I'll post for days of the week, Sunday through Saturday. This first session will be for 1-4 January.  This format follows the One Year Bible configuration so that we will read through the Bible in 365 days. The average time to read will be approximately 18 minuets each day. Start and or continue your discipline of putting God's Word first in your life. Follow on www.facebook.com/BarnabasImpact.

1 Jan 2014  Wednesday Genesis: 1:1-2:25, Matthew 1:1-2:12, Psalm 1:1-6 & Proverbs 1:1-6.

2 Jan Thursday: Genesis 3:1-4:26, Matthew 2:13-3:6, Psalm 2:1-12 & Proverbs 1:7-9.

3 Jan Friday: Genesis 5:1-7:24, Matthew3:7-4:11, Psalm 3:1-8 & Proverbs 1:10-19.

4 Jan Saturday: Genesis 8:1-10:32, matthew4:12-25, Psalm 4:1-8 & Proverbs 1:20-23.

As you prepare to read each day, spend some time considering what you are about to undertake and search your heart so as to admit to God you have sinned and need to be clean before you do this holy work. Expressed by prayer to God your thankfulness that He has not dealt with you according to your sins nor rewarded according to your iniquities. You must know your status before God. As you read to know Him look to see His Holiness, Eternality, Omniscience, Omnipotence and believe that He is Fair and Just.

Look at Micah 6:8 "He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?" We will read this scripture again 16 December 2014. Hopefully we will practice this admonition every day from now until eternity.

In the morning look at the East, observe the rising of the sun and read Psalm 19. Look to see Him.
Observe John 3:12 and seek to follow Him to know Him. See, hear and believe.
