Wednesday, December 17, 2014

17 December 2014 Wednesday, a great day to read your Bible to know God. After you read the report of God's action against Nineveh consider their opportunities to have had success if they had continued in the revival started by Jonah 150 years earlier.

Consider where America or your country could believers had continued obedience to God after the Great Awakening 1730-40. From the instant of your salvation and new birth where are you today? No man can float in his faith. If any drift in the river of inactivity, they will always go down. Spend some time meditating on the mercy of God. Read your Bible.

Sunday, December 14, 2014

Sunday 14 December 2014. You are important! Because you have read your Bible to know God, you are qualified to share what you know about Almighty God. Don't be like Jonah by running from God, but repent, pray, confess and obey. God is True, and what He speaks to us is TRUTH.

I am convinced (my opinion) that we can not have faith apart from OBEDIENCE to God's Word. If you have time investigate how many times the word "come" is used and how often it is followed by "go". God uses people to reach and serve other people. It is better to obey than to sacrifice. Be a stepping stone, not a stumbling block.

Lesson # 51 One Year Bible Comments for period 14-20 December 2014. Read to know God. Read the Scriptures before you consider the comments. Read and pray. Get right, strive to be right, seek to do right and don’t quit.
Look for how God allows people to know truth and yet disobey. Look for His attributes as God deals with both the prophets Jonah and Nahum and also the people in both good and bad circumstances. Consider God’s mercy toward the Assyrian people at Nineveh and pray for mercy on our nation.
Sun 12-14 Jonah 1:1-4:11, Revelation 5:1-14, Psalm 133:1-3 & Proverbs 29:26-27.
12-15 Micah 1:1-4:13, Revelation 6:1-17, Psalm 134:1-3 & Proverbs 30:1-4.

What did you learn about God and the Lord Jesus Christ as you read the visions in Revelation? Where will you be while these visions come to pass?
12-16 Micah 5:1-7:20, Revelation 7:1-17, Psalm 135:1-21 & Proverbs 30:5-6.

As you read the Psalms did you sense that God has a real and personal concern for His people? Do you believe that God has absolute total control of every aspect of every life? Consider reading and then praying back to God the Psalms.
Wed 12-17 Nahum 1:1-3:19, Revelation 8:1-13, Psalm 136:1-26 & Proverbs 30:7-9.

12-18 Habakkuk 1:1-3-19, Revelation 9:1-21, Psalm 137:1-9 & Proverbs 30:10.
Focus on God’s righteousness as Micah, Habakkuk and Zephaniah serves in Jerusalem. Note the Omnipotence, kindness, mercy and Sovereignty displayed by God in Judah in the last days. How does this impact your concept of God?

12-19 Zephaniah 1:1-3:20, Revelation 10:1-11, Psalm 138:1-8 & Proverbs 30:11-14.
Pay attention to how The LORD is involved with causing the Jews to consider spiritual matters as a priority in the work of rebuilding the temple.

Sat 12-20 Haggai 1:1-2:23, Revelation 11:1-19, Psalm 139:1-24 & Proverbs 30:15-16,
What practical instructions did you receive from Proverbs? Read again Proverbs 1:7 and review your goals as a son of God. Consider Proverbs 30:5-9 as good council for stewardship of your finances. Allow Proverbs 3:1-12 to serve as your counsel for making decisions.

God loves you if you do or do not read your Bible. God's love is UNCONDITIONAL!
We get to chose to obey or not. We do not choose the timing nor the consequence for our disobedience. God knows all things about all people, He is Omniscient.

Saturday, December 13, 2014

Saturday 13 December 2014, WOW, there a many who have not read, heard and believed the gospel. Have you believed and received the power to become a son of God according to John 1:1-14? If not, why not? Read the Bible.

Today we get to read the report by the prophet Obadiah and this will cause all men to check their concept of God. Also we are challenged to be "in the Spirit". There is only one (1) way to come into the presence of Almighty God and that way is the way of holiness. Holiness is not an impossible way for God. Holiness is not possible of the flesh.

Obey the Truth, seek God diligently with all of your heart. Trust God that He will cleanse and forgive as you confess and repent. How can two walk together except they be agreed? God will not change nor make an exception. You and I must meet/seek God according to His ways. All men learn God's ways by reading the Bible. Step one (1st) is obedience to what God speaks and then faith in believing is pleasing to Him.

God is not willing that any perish. He has made provisions for all men to be saved. The blood of The Lord Jesus Christ is sufficient for ALL people to be saved, BUT only efficient to those that hear, believe and receive His gospel. Read to know God.

Monday, December 8, 2014

Monday 8 December 2014 Hope you all have been blessed and also prompt in giving thanks unto God for His provisions for you. You are either with God as His sons or you are still lost in our sins and the Devil is our father. If you have not responded to God for salvation, please do. God uses "men" to carry or tell the Truth according to the scriptures and He uses The Word to confront and comfort. Except The Spirit of God draw a man they can not be saved. God uses the divine tripod to win the lost. read your Bible to know God.

Did you note how Israel made a detour instead of an about face in their response to God? What should you of the church of today learn from 3rd John? How have you told and shown God you believe Psalm 126?

12-8 Hosea 10:1-14:9, Jude 1:1-25, Psalm 127:1-5 & Proverbs 29:15-17. Because you have read Hosea do you pray differently for America and the lost World? How does the phrase “He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.” apply to you and your church today? Does Psalm 130 cause you to worship and pray differently? Look for benevolence and stewardship in the Proverb.

12-12   Amos 7:1-9:15, Revelation 3:7-22, Psalm 131:1-3 & Proverbs 29:23. When you see the name “Lord GOD” in scripture how does it impact your fear, love and respect of God? Pay attention to the various ways the scriptures use different ways of spelling His name. What did God say about Himself to the church at Laodicea? What promise did God give today? How is your heart? Stay humble and flee pride.
12-13   Obadiah 1:1-21, Revelation 4:1-11, Psalm 132:1-18 & Proverbs 29:24-25. How did God show His attribute of Omniscience today? 26 October 2014 Sunday and there are people who are not yet saved from the wrath of God. What will you be and do so that they may hear the gospel ONE time clearly before they die in their sins?
This is Lesson # 44  One Year Bile Comments for the period 26 October-1November 2014.

Begin each day in a time of prayer with confession.  Read your Bible before you consider the comments. Apply Micah 6:8.  Look for His names, traits, attributes and ways. Hear His call to the nations, to the Jews and to you, then obey what is applicable to you for His glory and your good. Then after you have read your Bible pray in thanksgiving. Strive to refine your concept of God.
Jeremiah is being told by God the destiny of the nations who have been against the Jews. Hide in your mind the promise given at 33:3 showing the mercy and grace of God. Look at the prophecies that have not been fulfilled. READ your BIBLE to know God. God’s way is plain before men and it is our responsibility to obey. Be grateful for God’s wrath care for His people. One Day this will all be finished.   Maranatha.
Sun26 Jeremiah 49:23-50:46, Titus 1:-16, Psalm 98:1-98:9 & Proverbs 26:13-16. Each person needs to seek their personal application of the scriptures even as Titus was charged by Paul. Spend time throughout the day and recall the attributes of God given in the Psalms.
Mon 27  Jeremiah 51:1-53, Titus 2:1-15, Palm 99:1-9 & Proverbs 26:17. How did The LORD sware by himself today? What virtues and traits did He display? Do you tremble at The Word?

Tue 28 Jeremiah 51:54-52:34, Titus 3:1-15, Psalm 100:1-5 & Proverbs 26:18-19.
Lamentations appears to be a wailing cry by Jeremiah for Jerusalem and for its destruction.  Jerusalem was rebuilt after to 70 years according to God’s prophecies.

Wed 29 Lamentations 1:1-2:19, Philemon 1:1-25, Palm 101:1-8 & Proverbs 26:20. Have you wept over a brother that is lost and rebels from God? How is your prayer life to be changed because you will read Lamentations? Because of 2:17 how is your concept of God changed?
Thu 30 Lamentations 2:20-3:66, Hebrews 1:1-14, Psalm 102:1-28 & Proverbs 26:21-22. What is Hebrews 1:1-14 therefore? How do you ask God to hear your prayers? Don’t be a talebearer.
Fri 31 Lamentations4:1-5:22, Hebrews 2:1-18, Psalms 103:1-22 & Proverbs 26:23.
Ezekiel was taken as a prisoner to Babylon and was associated with Daniel during the 70 years of captivity. Consider Hebrews as serving the believing Jews converted to Jesus as Saviour while in Jerusalem before the Romans destroyed the Temple. Jesus Christ is better than the sacrifice greater than the angels, greater than Moses over the priest and He is the promised Messiah, The New Covenant. Read, believe and receive.
Sun 1st Ezekiel 1:1-3:15, Hebrews 3:1-19, Psalm 104:1-24 & Proverbs 26:24-26.
Welcome to all readers and those from Australia, Belarus, Bermuda, Bulgaria, Canada, China, France, Germany, Greece, India, Iran, Latvia, Lithuania, Malaysia, Panama, Philippians, Poland, Russia, Singapore, Spain, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States of America and Vietnam, welcome and God bless you for reading to know God. Sunday, October 19, 2014

Sunday 26 October 2014. Hope you had a great Sunday meeting with your friends and brothers around the scriptures praising God as you worship and adored Him. If you do not have a church pray for the Lord of The Harvest to send a missionary to your place so that you may be taught and edified. Until then read your Bible to know God and wait for His promise to come true for you and your family. Read your Bible before the comments. Consider II Peter 3:18 and Revelation 1:3.

Lesson # 43  One Year Bile  Comments for 19-25 October 2014.
Please notice the web page at BarnabasImpactMinistry.com. We welcome your comments please share your comments and questions at facebook.com/BarnabasImpact.
As you read each day strive to refine your concept of God. Read your Bible before you consider the comments.  Look for His names, traits, attributes and ways. Hear His call to the nations, to the Jews and to you, then obey what is applicable to you for His glory and your good. Apply Micah 6:8.

Jeremiah is being told by God the destiny of the Jews at Jerusalem forecasting their captivity in Babylon because of their sins. Hide in your mind the promise given at 33:3 showing the mercy and grace of God. READ your BIBLE to know God. God’s way is plain before men and it is our responsibility to obey.
Sun 19 Jeremiah 33:1-34:22, I Timothy 4:1-16, Psalm 89:1-13  & Proverbs 25:23-24.

Mon 20 Jeremiah35:1-36:32, I Timothy 5:1-25, Psalm 89:14-37 & Proverbs 25:25-27.
Tue 21 Jeremiah 37:1-38:28, I Timothy 6:1-21, Palm 89:38-52 & Proverbs 25:28.

God uses Paul to pen the instruction for Timothy. What characteristic stands out about God in these letters? God’s plan for His followers is made clear and provision explained at II Timothy 3:16-17.Get and keep the Truth. Pray for men to be saved.
Wed 22Jeremiah 39:1-41:18, II Timothy 1:1-18, Psalm 90:1-91:16 & Proverbs 26:1-2.

Thu 23Jeremiah 42:1-44:23, II Timothy 2:1-21, Psalm 92:1-93:5 & Proverbs 26:3-5.
Fri 24 Jeremiah 44:24-47:7, II Timothy 2:22-3:17, Psalm 94:1-23 & Proverbs 26:6-8.

Sat 25 Jeremiah 48:1-49:22, II Timothy 4:1-22, Psalm 95:1-96:13 & Proverbs 26:9-12.
Read the Psalms as prayers and then pray them back to God as your own. Adore God and call out His majestic names. Confess your sins. Remind God of His promises. Be thankful. He is holy. As a Spirit, all that worship Him must worship Him in Spirit and Truth. As you learn truths about God take time to review your concept of God.

Remember He is Elohim the Omniscient, Omnipotent, Omnipresent God who created all things. He shows Himself to us in the Bible as Jehovah who desires all men to know Him as Jehovah the Saviour.
Consider The Proverbs as jewels of wisdom (25:9-13) and instructions for responding FIRST to God in obedience and then serving man so that they may see God in you. Read your Bible to know God and then “Get right, Be right, Do right and don’ quit.”

If you need a Bible make that info known at facebook.com/BarnabasImpact.

Friday, October 17, 2014

Today is Friday 17 October and I have been away from the work station to post the lesson for this week. I hope you have been reading and learning about God without my comments. I do pray that you have a Bible and that God is drawing you to Himself for salvation, service and the rapture.

Lesson # 42 One Year Bible Comments  for 12-18 October 2014.  GET RIGHT, BE RIGHT,  DO RIGHT and THEN don’t quit. We have The Blessed Hope! Share the scriptures that changed your life today. Use the web page at BarnabasImpactMinistry.com ., Please use facebook.com/BarnabasImpact if you need a Bible or want to share your comments I welcome your comments.
Copied from Jensen’s Survey of the Old Testament, from the Book of Jeremiah: Book of Judgment, VII. Applications, page 349, states”The sixth-century B.C. book of Jeremiah is important for the twentieth-century world because the similarities between Jeremiah’s day and today could hardly ne stronger. As in Jeremiah’s day, this is a time of deep sin; apostasy and hypocrisy abound; the balance of power among nations totters precariously, and alliances change with apparent recklessness from decade to decade; God’s heralds are in a lonely minority; and the rumbling of doomsday, like an approaching avalanche, get louder by the minute. Very evident in Jeremiah’s message is the fact that the destinies of people and nations are not fulfilled outside the hand of God. During these last days of the church on earth, the Christian will find in this ancient book a timely message and many answers to questions about God’s ways in the world today and tomorrow. After you have finished your survey of the book, write a list of present-day applications.” **Take time to connect the Old to the New Testament.

Sun 12 Jeremiah 19:1-21:14, I Thessalonians 5:4-28, Psalm 82:1-8 & Proverbs 25:8-10.
Mon 13  Jeremiah 22:1-23:20, II Thessalonians 1:1-12, Psalm 83:1-18 & Proverbs 25:11-14.

Tue 14  Jeremiah 23:21-25:38, II Thessalonians 2:1-17, Psalm 84:1-12 & Proverbs 25:15.
Wed 15 Jeremiah 26:1-27:22, II Thessalonians 3:1-18, Psalm 85:1-13 & Proverbs 25:16.

I & II Thessalonians causes us to look back then look forward to the coming and soon coming again of the Lord Jesus Christ. How do you share the “Blessed Hope” concerning His imminent return? Read again chapter 5 and record the various promises and admonitions for the believers. Are you prepared for rapture?  How do you share 4:13-18 with your friends? The Second Epistle warns us about our enemy and prepares us to tell others about the delusion that will affect unbelievers. Get the truth, tell others of this blessed hope and be not weary in well doing. We are to walk in peace and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Thu 16 Jeremiah 28:1-29:32, I Timothy 1:1-20, Psalm 86:1-17 & Proverbs 25:17.

Fri 17 Jeremiah 30:1-31:26, I Timothy, Psalm 87:1-7 & Proverbs 25:18-19.
Sat 18 Jeremiah 31:27-32:44, I Timothy 3:1-16, Psalm 88:1-18 & Proverbs 25:20-22.

Take time to ponder what the Psalms and Proverbs have told you about God and tell Him you appreciate His mercy toward you. Ask God to teach you His ways. When you cry out to God, remind Him of His promises to you. Praise Him. Read the Bible and believe what you read.
Be sensitive, consider ALL things in view of the soon return of Jesus Christ in the clouds ** Maranatha (1stCorinthians 16:22). “As cold waters to a thirst soul, so is good news from a far country.” Proverbs 25:25
If you find yourself anxious, take the confidence you have in yourself and replace it with confidence in The Lord. Read Psalm 62:5. Hope to see you heaven.

Lesson # 41 One Year Bible Comments for the period 5-11 October 2014.  As you read be sensitive to the soon return of The Lord Jesus Christ in the clouds ** Maranatha (1stCorinthians 16:22) ** and GET RIGHT and then BE right and DO right and don’t quit until the trumpet sounds. We have The Blessed Hope! Share this Truth today.
Please notice the web page at BarnabasImpactMinistry.com and share your comments and questions at facebook.com/BarnabasImpact. I welcome your comments.
Please read the scriptures and consider the same questions or comments for every day. For example this week as you read Jeremiah compare the evaluation of Judah and Israel by God to be as if He was evaluating you, your family, your church, your state and your nation.

What information about God has been given to you? Have you been obedient in all of the commandments and admonitions? How have you prayed differently this week because of gaining a greater appreciation of God’s mercy and generosity? Are you trying to hide your sins?
Sun 5 Jeremiah 4:19-6:14, Colossians 1:20-2:7 Psalm 77:1-20 & Proverbs 24:23-25.

Mon 6 Jeremiah 6:15-8:7, Colossians 2:8-23, Psalm78:1-25 & Proverbs 245:26.
As you read through Colossians note the promises, mark the privileges assign to believers, identify your ministry and attend to the conditions. List some things that you think about differently because you have read to know God. Are you achieving the goal of verse 4:17?

Tue 7 Jeremiah 8:89:26, Colossians 3:1-17, Psalm 78:26-58 & Proverbs 24:27.
Wed 8 Jeremiah 10:1-11:23, Colossians 3:18-4:18, Psalm 78:59:72 & Proverbs 24:28-29.

Thu 9 Jeremiah 12:1-14:10, I Thessalonians 1:1-2:8, Psalm 79:1-13 & Proverbs 24:30-34.
Fast forward to chapter 5 and read verses 23-28 to set your goal for reading and applying Thessalonians to your conversation so that you will not be ignorant, brethren. Practice walking with God and seeking His fellowship. Establish a goal for holiness.

Fri 10 Jeremiah 14:11-16:15, I Thessalonians 2:9-3:13, Psalm 80:1-19 & Proverbs 25:1-5.
Sat 11 Jeremiah 16:16-16:23, I Thessalonians 4:1-5:3, Psalm 81:1-16 & Proverbs 25:6-7.

As you read the Psalms and Proverbs recall the wonders of God as they are recorded. Practice telling God early in the morning and late at night the things you have learned. Read the Psalms as prayers and then pray them back out of a contrite spirit.
Adore God in your prayer time and use His names to express your thankfulness as you express your fear and reverence for Him. Be not envious against evil men. As a son seek to be wise and careful in all your dealings as a good steward. Consider Proverbs 25:6-7 as your role model for interaction with others.

Sun 28 Isaiah 54:1-57:14, Ephesians 6:1-24, Psalm 70:1-5 & Proverbs 24:8. Try to apply the challenge of serving others as described at Isaiah54. What offer did God make in chapter 55? Mon 29 Isaiah 57:15-59:21, Philippians 1:1-26, Psalm 71:1-24 & Proverbs 24:9-10. Are you in harmony and dwelling with the high and holy One that inhabiteth eternity? Do you have peace with God? Meditate on Isaiah 59. Why are you confident about God? Consider the term Maranatha as it relates to you and then the “the day of Christ”. Pray back Psalm 71 and rest in the promises that are promised to believers. Guard your thought life and trust God.
Tue 30 Isaiah 60:1-62:5, Philippians 1:27-2:18, Psalm 72:1-20 & Proverbs 24:11-12. As a child of the King of glory arise and shine so that lost men will envy your heritage and turn toward God. We are the light. We are watchmen. Guard your conversation as it is at Philippians 1:27-30.Tell others what God has said about Jesus. Bless the glorious names of God. One Day every man will give an account to God for his stewardship of God’s blessings.
Wed 1 Isaiah 62:8-65:25, Philippians 2:19-3:3 Psalm 73:1-28 & Proverbs 24:13-14. Have you “refined” your concept of God? What “snap shot” of God did you develop today? Are you waiting for God? What did you learn from God’s prophecies? Be encouraged and rejoice as you trust in Jesus and the scriptures. Believe the promise at Psalm 73:24. Hope in God. Get wisdom.
Thu 2 Isaiah 66:1-24, Philippians 3:4-21, Psalm 74:1-23 & Proverbs 24:25-16. Be amazed at the glory of God. Hear and heed God’s warnings. Sanctify and purify yourself for God’s glory and service. One day this will come to pass, prepare to meet GOD. What have you forgotten today because you read? Read and rest in God’s promises. Pray back Psalm 74. Be a just man.
Fri 3 Jeremiah 1:1-2:30, Philippians 4:1-23, Psalm 75:1-10 & Proverbs 24:17-20. Believe and enjoy the generosity, mercy, Omniscience, lovingkindness provision from God in your life. Sat 4 Jeremiah 2:31-4:18, Colossians 1:1-19, Psalm 76:1-12 & Proverbs 24:21-22.  How is your memory of God’s commandments? What has been promised to believers? Who is praying for you today? What pleases God the Father concerning Jesus? How do you demonstrate His preeminence? What attributes of God did you discover in the Psalm? What ought a child of God observe to be and do to please God?
Take your eyes off of the turmoil and focus on your blessings. Walk with Him in the Light.  Try shouting out Psalm 50:1-6.Please tell everyone (that you sense is out of God’s favor) the good news, Jesus has paid for their sins and God wants to save them. Kind words are nice, but the True Word from the Bible is what God has declared to be spoken for salvation.  Read your Bible, hide it in your heart, and do right.
