Sept 26, Sod day for the HFOT house that will be provided to Brett and Kelly Wolf on 3 October 2009. Pray for all of the men and women who have been severally wounded in the war effort that they have been called into by our government. Get ready for Sunday, call your friends and invite your neighbors to come and learn about our GOD and our Lord.Share your testimony with those that are given to you by The LORD.

Isaiah 48:12-50:11 When you read is it personal? We read to know Him, yet we can read and be apart from the the truth that we are sensing, be careful and stay sensitive. Try to determine how The LORD is using the wording to describe either the local events or the future, even as far out as the 1000year reign. God will send a Saviour to/for Israel, but we know they will reject Him. Take the "snap shot" of The LORD in v50:2-3 and see if this affects your concept of GOD.

Ephesians 4:17-32 Do you really want to be revived and to live daily in His presence? Diligently seek wisdom from GOD and be "renewed" in The Spirit. It is a act on purpose to "put off" the old man and to "put on" the new man.Be prudent and follow Christ.

Psalm 69:1-14 When you pray , do you plea with GOD? It is not easy to be specific
about our sins because of our pride, but if we want specific forgiveness and particular cleansing of a sin, we must admit, confess and pray diligently seeking our Heavenly Father. Don't be offended, but prayer is Holy work. Please learn to enjoy GOD's forgiveness and pray for The LORD to cause you to sense His mercy. Amen

Proverbs 24:5 describes a believer.Do you fit this description? If not, why not? Has GOD forgotten you? What do you want from GOD? Be diligent and seek after The LORD. pj
25 September Friday is here and Sunday is coming. Make your plans and provisions now to be read up,prayed up and on time for SS and church. Did you finish your home work assignment from last week? How do you deal with the obstacles in your prayer life?

Proverbs 24:3-4 gives us a blueprint for success and prosperity in our homes.

Psalm 68:19-35 continues to remind us of the blessing provide by GOD to His children. What do you "ascribe" to GOD? Do you consider GOD terrible? How do you bless The LORD? We are in the midst of a war/jihad, but One Day it will be over and we will be with our Saviour for eternity. Selah.

Ephesians 4:1-16 gives us the plan for the church for all ages. What is your vocation? We are reminded to get our doctrine first and then put those truths into practice. Are you being perfected and what ministry is "consuming" you daily?

Isaiah 45:11-48:11 Allows us to hear from The LORD's own mouth His testimony. How does this impact your concept of GOD? Take v46:8-13 and learn His attributes and traits and see how they are in your life. If not,why not? Here we hear GOD speaking, His prophet speaking, His prophecy, history and promises declared, the conduct of the Jews and the others and see the result of sin and GOD's extended hand of mercy to those who choose to repent.Let the phrase "for my name's sake" cause you to stop and consider your ways. Why do you do what you do? The destruction of Jerusalem is coming. One Day the Rapture will occur and One Day Jesus will come to earth in all His glory, One day. Are you ready if it is today? If not,why not? Be not obstinate. pj
24 September, Thursday is a good day to have doctors appointments, get a flu shot and buy new phones. All of the landscaping is done around the Brett Wolf house and we are getting ready for the laying of the sod this coming Saturday. Keep reading and praying for our nation and it's leadership. Keep praying for our church and our SS class. Remember the missionary program and be willing to go anywhere, anytime, with anyone, at any price for the opportunity to serve our brothers. Selah.

Isaiah 43:14-45:10 Asks many questions, gives all the right answers and requires us to respond to The LORD, as He did for all of the nations mentioned and the children in Jerusalem. Thus saith The LORD!Make a list of His names and titles and be amazed at His desire for the hearers and readers to know HIM!Learn His testimony.Read v45:1-10 and be amazed at GOD and His provisions. We are without excuse, follow The LORD.

Ephesians 3:1-21 tells us of who we are. Make a list of what you have because of your salvation in Christ.Learn what He expects of us and let v19 come to pass, "be filled with all the fulness of GOD".Believe the Scriptures and work that He, Jesus Christ gets all the glory in the church. amen

Psalm 68:1-18 By reading this, are you glad? If not,why not? What has GOD done today that you praised Him for? Is He your Father? Make v4 real in your life. Selah.

Proverbs 24:1-2 Be careful of who you are watching. Envy and jealousy mingled with a little covetousness mixed with pride is dangerous. Follow GOD! read to know Him. pj

Tuesday, September 22, 2009

23 September Wednesday, time for a recharge at church tonight. Hope you keep on reading to know Him and seek to grow in grace and knowledge of The LORD, our Lord.

Proverbs 23:29-35 Beware of booze! One taste can/may be the beginning of a lifestyle that will destroy your life. The last phrase is enough to scare the wits out of any reasonable person, wake up in your own vomit and then say "I will seek it again". Please, don't start, stay clean and pure. Stop, commit your life and your choices to The LORD, and He will direct your path, and it will NEVER be to the liquor store.

Psalm 67:1-7 Start your day with v1 and "SELAH" all day long.Believe v7and thank GOD.

Ephesians 2:1-22 Spend time noting what we, as saints, have in GOD because of our faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ our Saviour. Let the True facts stated in The Word of GOD encourage and comfort you at all times. Consider The Triunity of GOD when you look at v18 and praise Him for Himself and then enjoy His blessings.

Isaiah 41:-43:13 reminds us that there is ONLY One(1) GOD! We have the opportunity to learn what GOD loves and what He hates. We can read the promises with their conditions that were given to the children in Jerusalem, see their unbelief, watch their downfall and by GOD's grace The Holy Spirit will teach us an application for us today. Hear, believe The LORD and obey His Words/Scriptures.Take note of His Names and learn about His jealousy, He will not share His glory.Note the commands given in v43:10 and obey. Whom do you fear? What do you love? Whom do you serve? Amen. pj
22 September rainy Tuesday with a lot of clouds in the sky. Could this be The Day? Are you ready to meet The Lord in the air? Ready or not He is coming soon and it could be today. Read to know Him and be conformed to His image.Today practice sanctification. Be right then do right. We are saved by Grace! We do not win NOR gain/keep our Salvation by our works. We are free from the wrath of GOD. Is He the love of your life? If so, then act like it today. America is in a downward spiral away from GOD being led by ungodly men of selfish unholy dreams inspired by Satan. We,the Christians have done wrong and disobeyed the known Truths of GOD. Except The LORD have mercy we are undone. Let us admit our SINS, repent from those sins, confess to GOD and repent toward The Lord and believer 1stJohn 1:9 and cry out for GOD's will to be done according to the Scriptures in Isaiah 1:15-20,II Chron 7:14.

Isaiah 39:1-41:16 We have an enemy that wants to destroy us from the outside and an enemy who seeks to destroy us from the inside-PRIDE. When/how do our blessings become a curse? Look at v8 and see how you relate to that attitude. We are without excuse. GOD speaks, Isaiah warns and King Hezekiah brags. One day there will be peace in Jerusalem, but not in King Hezekiah's day. Jerusalem will be re-built and destroyed again before The King Of Glory comes in.One Day! Notice many "snapshots" of GOD recorded and pay attention to the question The LORD asks? Learn what GOD says about The LORD and how He foretells The Lord's appearance in Jerusalem. Learn the truth and application of v41:8-16 and consider the mighty Army in Israel today. What nation is more feared and hated than Israel? Jerusalem is the epicenter of the world.

Psalm 66:1-20 Oh, if Israel and Christians would accomplish v1-16. How have you cried unto GOD today?Be grateful for v20 and repent from your apathy and pride. Bless The LORD! Be grateful, thankful and seek Him daily to prise Him. Selah.

Proverbs 23:26-28 Fathers must pay attention to the conduct of their sons, giving them freedom to choose, yet warning them by words and godly examples. Sexual sins are sins against your OWN body and soul. Be alert to Satan and his whores. Selah.

Ephesians 1:1-23 What a way to start the day, be encouraged by GOD's Scriptures. Galatians to the churches, Ephesians to the saints. Please consider this as a personal letter from GOD Almighty to you, a saint. It is good to recall your salvation experience, but focus on The Lord and not your experience. One Day we will receive our inheritance, it could be today. Until we are "snatched out" let us be thankful and praise our GOD for His mercy, grace and salvation.GOD in Christ!! Let us not get over the fact of the empty tomb!! Jesus is at the right hand of GOD The Father and He is making intercession for us today. pj
21 September Monday and we are still here.Who did you share Christ with this last week? Has GOD blessed you? Have you spent time telling The LORD about The Lord and The Holy Spirit and how you have been blessed because you are accepted in the Beloved. Have you forgotten that you are not under the wrath of GOD? Have you forgotten that He gave you the power to become a son of GOD? Have you been living like a child of The King of Glory? If not,why not? Why are we so forgetful? Have you quit looking for some of the near 700 Names that GOD has ascribed to Himself? Please don't become complacent, lazy, indifferent and a disgrace to Him who saved you. You are the hope for the lost. Men need to see Jesus Christ in you today. Be/do right.

Isaiah 37:1-38:22 allows us to see and hear GOD speak and work in the children of GOD. We should see ourselves today and seek understanding of these truths and principals taught by The LORD through Isaiah and King Hezekiah. We have eyes to see and ears to hear BOTH The LORD and our enemy, Satan. What makes us to pray? Try writing out your next prayer. Your prayer is being written down by GOD in His book when you do pray. How often do you remind GOD of His promises? Have you recorded how The LORD has responded to your prayers? It would be a good testimony if your requests and GOD's responses were written so that your family, children and grandchildren might see the evidence of your heavenly conversation, if there is any.

Psalm 65:1-13 read v4 and be thankful. Be careful to seek GOD's will and that not of man nor yourself. Why do you pray? How much of your prayer time is spent "telling GOD" about circumstances in your life and is that an offense against His attribute of being Omniscient? Pay attention! We are to seek GOD and adore Him in His Holiness.

Proverbs 23:24-25 I am fascinated by the numbers today. He arranged all in sequence.I pray that my parents, from Heaven, are glad and proud of their son. I want to have joy in watching my son, son-in-law and grandsons be wise and follow GOD.

Galatians 6:1-18 completes the first letter of Paul to the churches in Galatia. These instruction are applicable to the churches today. We, the saved, believers, sons of GOD by faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, are the church. We are free! We ought not walk in bondage! We ought to love GOD and love mankind, especially those of precious like faith. What is your burden? Where did you get your burden? How does the world know that you are a son of GOD? How/what are you marked by GOD? We will be required to give an account of our stewardship of the Truth we have received and how we shared that Love and Truth with our family, friends and the world. pj

Monday, September 21, 2009

20 September Sunday is here and what a great day. Attendance was down, but those there had great attitudes and much participation in our class. I am grateful for those who choose to read their 365 KJV Bible to know Him and enjoy spending time with others of like mind. We will focus next week on the book of Isaiah in class.

Proverbs 23:23 Pay attention as to what we spend our life on and how we manage the gifts of GOD. Get wisdom, follow instructions and seek understanding. Be right.

Psalm 64:10 If we seek The LORD diligently we shall be glad. Who do you trust? Keep our eyes off of those who are rebellious and indifferent to GOD. Read to know Him.

Galatians 5:13-26 reminds all of the members of all the churches to walk in The Spirit. We have the opportunity to control our flesh/carnal desires AND to choose to follow our Lord. We know the impact of our sins and their consequences when we resist GOD's leadership. We have the opportunity to walk in LOVE!!! The evidences of our obedience to walk after Jesus Christ our Lord in love will be joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. We are lawless and again in "bondage" if we do not follow Jesus.Choose Him and live and walk in The Spirit of Truth. Start each day by faith and believe GOD. Pray for His leadership, walk in His light, hope that lost men see Christ in you.

Isaiah33:13-36:22 One Day!! How many times have you seen, read and heard this and still walk in the same way? Judah was exposed to truth and still did not believe. It is exciting to heard what The LORD is saying through Isaiah, what Isaiah saying because he has heard The LORD and how men respond. We are looking at us. GOD is telling Judah, and us, that He is Omnipotent, and that He will provide all they/we need. This is reality for them at that time. GOD is foretelling the fall of Jerusalem and foretelling the coming if The King, One day. Today we are surrounded by liberals and Isaiah was a prophet for GOD 750 years before the birth of Jesus and he was warning about liberals, when will we learn? One Day! One day He will rise and will be exalted and He will do it by Himself. Where will you be that day? Amen. pj

Saturday, September 19, 2009

19 September Hope you are getting ready for Sunday. Lay everything out tonight. Early in the AM, coffee on, read and pray, eat, dress and be to SS and Church on time. What a way to start the week.I want to suggest you consider adding a daily dose of reading some of The Constitution. For me my litmus test for all politicians from now on will be their stand on and practice of the oldest and shortest written Constitution in the world, The Constitution of the United States of America and the Bible we started with, The King James Version of The Holy Bible. Narrow, true, trustworthy, dependable, proven and preserved are these documents.Maranatha!!!!!!

Proverbs 23:22 Let us return to the old ways. Be right, hear our parents/teachers, do right according to The Truth,The Word of GOD.What has The LORD said for us to be?

Psalm 63:1-11Have you read the Bible and made any vows to The LORD? If not,why not?Why do we ask GOD to bless us,if we do not plan to be faithful? Who are we following if we are not following GOD?Who has been your helper? Selah.

Galatians 5:1-12 tells us to know The Truth and stand fast in the True Word of GOD.If we do not feed ourselves and follow The Holy Spirit what will overtake us?We need to have confidence in the Promises of GOD. We need to know right from wrong.

Isaiah 30:12-33:12 Causes us to consider the ways of our country and to pray for the leadership to repent and be saved. We are reading what GOD said and we don't tremble. The only hope for Judah was repentance from their lifestyle and return to the old ways according to the Scriptures. They needed to hear and heed the words spoken by Isaiah. As you read the names, titles and attributes of GOD Almighty, how does this impact your concept of GOD?As you make those "snapshots" of GOD in action fast forward to the current conditions in our nation and observe how similar we are to those unbelievers. One Day man will not be treated so much mercy, but judgment will be accomplished as it has been promised. One Day Jesus will rule and reign in Jerusalem, Maranatha.Does v32:8,referring to the liberal, make you laugh, considering how appropriate that description of our politicians is today. There is and will be "woe" when The LORD is not exalted. That Day is coming, when He will be exalted, are you prepared? Amen. pj

18 September Glory Get Away. I just received a call, an answer to prayer, from an unknown source, that was sent to me by The LORD. This applies to getting a stock pen built for the Brett and Kelly Wolf house o/a 3 Oct 09. WOW!!! In my ignorance GOD blessed me so that I might be a blessing for someone else. Please look to see what the GOD of Heaven is doing in your life. Let us agree that it is BEST to put The LORD first in all of our plans and that His will is being done on earth today.

Isaiah 28:14-30:11 Oh that all politicians would read and heed the Word of Almighty GOD JEHOVAH. Take time to note those names and titles ascribed to GOD by Himself in verses 16-23.When you read these verses what do you want to do for GOD? How is your concept of GOD influenced by reading today?Has GOD done a "marvellous" work in America/ in our churches/ in our homes and we have not seen it?Let us be careful to confess our sins, repent and return to our Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ, lest The LORD cause us to be in confusion. It has been written and we have the Truth of GOD in our hands, let us not be rebellious.

Galatians 3:23-4:31 Let us be thankful that "faith" has been revealed to us.Thank GOD for His Law. Let us be thankful for salvation and for being adopted into The Family of GOD. We need to read, study and be led by The Holy Spirit, lest we be deceived by our Enemy. Jihad is alive and has been since the garden of Eden. We must be careful with GOD's Word and hide It in our heart.

Psalm 62:1-12 Has much consolation for the distressed. Hope in GOD. If we depend on any other than The LORD we will be disappointed. Cause GOD to be your source of all of your expectations. Be thankful for His mercy that is fresh and new each day. Amen

Proverbs 23:19-21 We get to choose our lifestyle and our conversation reveals our choices. Flee the scent of strong drink and the appearance of evil. Selah. Amen pj
17 September Constitution Day. Let us pray for the USA and all of it's political leaders observe the Constitution and The KJV Bible. The oldest and Best documents in our nation. If we were to read these two documents through each year or month we would know the mind of GOD and our forefathers and be able to vote the right and best people into office. We have the wherewith all to be and do right. We are without excuse and if we do not observe these truths revealed to us,we will suffer. Read to know Him and seek His will on earth.

Isaiah 25:1-28:13 We "must" stop and pray after reading these verses. Who is speaking? Please don't focus on the agent, focus on He who created and called the agent,The LORD JEHOVAH. We need a dose of " I believe GOD" when we read the Bible. We need to be careful about pride. We need to be good students of The word of GOD.

Galatians 3:8-22 Are you glad that you were a heathen and that The LORD has saved you from His wrath? We are to live by faith. Where did you get your faith? What resource do you use daily to increase your faith? The Scriptures is the ONLY way to increase your faith! Hear the Truth, receive, believe and act out your faith because you have been redeemed from the wrath of GOD. Be right.... and then do right. Amen.

Psalm 61:1-8 Have you cried out today? What vow, if any, have you made to GOD? pj
16 September is day we celebrate because many years ago The LORD blessed Betty and I with our first child, Kimberly Renee Johnson. Thanks be to GOD for His kindness and generosity.I would hope all parents would love their first born and their second, third and so on the same but differently.Let us all be grateful for our uniqueness to GOD. What ever was "good" in us The LORD separated, multiplied, blessed and put into our daughter and our son. We love our children and thank GOD for them daily.

Isaiah 22:1-24:23 Has The LORD given you a burden? Did you pick or choose a burden?Do you have a burden for any one or any thing? How do you share that with the GOD of Heaven? How does "sin" affect your prayer life? How do you see Jesus in the reading today? Do you sense the plight of America similar to those of these people in Jerusalem? What is your "vision" of America today and how do you pray for us? Be awry of strong drink. Let us pray that GOD does not give America what we deserve. One day He will rule and reign in Jerusalem! Where will you be? Selah.

Galatians 2:17-3:7 Are you a child of The KING? Have you grown since birth? Are you sure, confident and sharing your faith? If not,why not?Read to know Him. Grow in grace and knowledge of The LORD, and our Lord by the leadership of The Holy Spirit.

Psalm 60:1-12 What has GOD done that makes you tremble and cry out for mercy? When you stop, pause and praise GOD, what and or why do you praise Him?Are you doing valiantly today? Has GOD helped you today? What has The LORD caused you to know?

Proverbs 23:15-16 Let us be thankful that our children have the opportunity to know and serve GOD.They will speak like their parents and act/react like us. Selah. pj

Wednesday, September 16, 2009

15 September is the last day of test, fasting and X-rays, hopefully for many days. I do expect a clean bill of health. There are many people we come in contact with that are hurting emotionally and spiritually.Let us agree to be sensitive to their crying even though they grin a lot.We can share a lot of love when we "hear" them talk. One of the advantages of reading to know Him early each day is that when you do go into the world you are clean an are filled so that if someone "bumps" into you what spills out of your "full cup" is the love of GOD.

Isaiah 19:1-21:17 We realize that if we do not learn from history, we will repeat the same type of activities again, as did the children of GOD, time and time again. As you read GOD's proclamation against these people and nations carefully refine your concept of The LORD and His Holiness.Timing is important when it responds to commands in obedience. One Day what we are reading will come to pass.

Galatians 2:1-16 How are you justified? We need to remember where we where when GOD found us.Let us remember that GOD's grace is our enablement for His glory. Be grateful for the clear plain presentation of the Gospel, then share that Truth.

Psalm 59:1-17 Why do you pray for deliverance? How did we get where we are? How did you wait on The LORD today? Read and pray v16-17 back to GOD. Selah.

Proverbs 23:13-14 we need to NOT misunderstand mercy and liberty for license. Treat others as GOD has treated us. Stewardship-what you sow you reap-same-later. Amen pj

Monday, September 14, 2009

14 September Here we are on Monday and wondering if this could be the day.Aren't you glad that you know that if this is "The Day of The Rapture" you are read up,prayed up and ready to go up.Take time today to remind yourself of all the benefits you have and enjoy because of your salvation from the wrath of GOD. Tell someone that you are accepted in the Beloved and have been given the power to become a son of GOD. Who is going to be raptured out with us because you caused them to hear the GOSPEL and they accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour? WE have work to do.

Isaiah 15:1-18:7 records the sentiment of The LORD as He expressed Himself to Isaiah concerning the people of Moab and the world in their relationship with The children of GOD in Jerusalem. What did you learn about GOD? Chapter 17 stresses a time line and GOD will require all people to observe and be compliant with His decisions and He reminds them of past instructions. When The LORD reminds us "Because thou hast forgotten the GOD of thy salvation" as recorded in v10,11 we become aware of our ease and lack of action. People will perish because of our indifference. Woe,Woe!!

Psalm 58:1-11 causes us to ponder our deeds and hopes.Do we want people to perish? We do trust in the judgments of GOD. We have an opportunity to influence for good.

Proverbs 23:12 describes my/our work/job/duty. We must respond to The LORD. Amen.

Galatians 1:1-24 Let me suggest that as you read this book look for and appreciate that GOD is causing Paul to say that because of our salvation we are free from bondage. Our salvation is a gift with no strings attached and no additional requirements. We are saved by grace through faith. Consider the thief on the cross. If we do anything after salvation it must be because we appreciate what The LORD has done for us and for Jesus'sake. We do not have to add any act to make our salvation "more" sure or secure. Believe and share the GOSPEL. Look and ponder v3-5. Salvation is of GOD,God,The LORD,The Lord. Read to know Him and enjoy His Truth. pj
13 September As you read today note the names, titles, attributes and traits of our LORD. Hopefully these will influence you to draw neigh, read, hear, believe and act like a child of The King.

Isaiah 12:1-14:32 Declares who is the Saviour. As you read consider what is your responsibility and what has GOD promised. Seek wisdom to know the difference and ask for grace to do the will of GOD. The children Isaiah knew were going into captivity. One day we will see this fulfilled, after the rapture, from heaven as the tribulation period is accomplished and Jesus returns to the earth according to the scriptures. Read v14:32 and incorporate this into your concept of GOD.

2nd Corinthians 13:1-14 calls us to a time of soul searching. Those of us who profess to be saved and have a KJV Bible are without excuse, and v11-14 ought to be our daily conversation and lifestyle. The LORD is speaking and we should hear.

Psalm 57:1-11 causes us to consider what GOD has done and is doing for us daily. While in the ER, this day in 1992, The LORD made it clear to me that v7 was true at that moment and would be forever. Mark those verses that The LORD has made true to you personally and enjoy His Truth for His Words are True. Selah.

Proverbs 23:9-11 warns us to be careful who we speak to privately. We are to be mindful of landmarks and respect their location and learn their lesson. GOD is a jealous GOD and will protect His children. Trust Him to protect you. Amen. pj

Saturday, September 12, 2009

12 September What a blessing we have today in this rain. Hope you are getting ready for Sunday.Hope you are in your place,on time, prepared, read up and prayed up.
We had a good time in SS and a solid message to edify the church. Sunday PM was great in the dramatic presentation of the life of Pastor John Witherspoon,1 of the 56signers of the Declaration of Independence by members of VBC.If all of the people could see this presentation our appreciation of the work of our forefathers would be increased. Thank The LORD for the presentation by VBC.

Isaiah 10:1-11:16 shares with us prophecy and promises.Mark those "snapshots" of Jesus and note His attributes.Stewardship principals cause us to look forward to that day.AS you read this book, keep in mind of where you will be when this comes to pass, in that day. Don't focus on the circumstances, focus on GOD who makes all things to come to pass. Check your concept of GOD and make sure you include v10:4-15 Be sensitive to the spelling of His name. There is a reason He refers to Himself by many different titles and names. Be thankful.

2nd Corinthians 12:11-21 How did you see The LORD present in the life of Paul today?Lest we forget, The Bible is GOD speaking to the hearers/believers and prompt obedience is best.Let us not be slack in doing right and our best. Selah.

Psalm56:1-13 Hopefully you will say "I want to" after reading these verses. Read to know Him and take note of His promises and their conditions. What do you know?

Proverbs 23:6-8 teaches us to "lookum in the eye" when we eat out.It is not good to be greedy and selfish in our desire to be accepted by the world. It will make us sick. Let us learn to be careful of our friends and associates.Judge them. Amen. pj
11 September What a day to pause and be grateful, thankful and mindful of the great event of 9-11. Where were you that day? What effect is in your life because of this event? Do you hate the sin? What sin do you hate? Over the last eight years, how often did/have you remembered and prayed for those families that were destroyed in the crash of those four airplanes? We have become complacent. How similar are we to the children of Judah in Jerusalem in the days of Isaiah? We read, but have we learned anything about GOD and His hatred for sin? Jihad! What word is true/truth? We must become sensitive to our circumstances and the acts of our Enemy. Wake up!

Isaiah 8:1-9:21 ask the question of whom do you fear? There is forgiveness for sin/sins, but that does take away the consequence of sin.Stewardship is The LORD's manner of accountability, what you sow, you shall reap. Mark the "snapshots" of GOD and pay attention to how people abuse the mercy of GOD. Do you have any sympathy for those people of v8:22 that are driven to darkness? Does this reading change your prayer life? If you sense a fear and anguish today, keep on reading to v9:6-7 and then start praying "thank you LORD" for Your provision of The Child and how You have promised and will perform. Read and learn about The LORD to know Him and put this truth in your memory"For all his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still". How does this verse(v9:21b) impact your concept of GOD?

2nd Corinthians 12:1-10 How has the grace of GOD influenced you life? What do you glory in? What has The LORD promised to believers? What does "for Christ's sake" mean to you?

Psalm 55:1-23 What have you asked GOD to do for you? Do you believe that your prayers are in agreement with those of Jesus Christ concerning your request? If not, why not? Do you"really" cast your burdens upon The LORD? How often do you pray?

Proverbs 23:4-5 ask "What are you working for?" IT does not say to not work, carefully read the verses again.Where did you get your wisdom? Look back at Proverbs 3:5-6 and rethink your attitude towards what you are doing. Selah. pj

Thursday, September 10, 2009

10 September Thursday and we are still here.Could this be The Day? Are you ready for the "Rapture"? We will be surprised, but we should not be distressed. We will be taken from this world, up into the clouds to meet The Lord. We must be concerned for those who are not saved! We, as watchmen, must give out the clear distinct message of The Gospel to those we can influence, lest they be left behind and are eternally separated from GOD because of their unbelief.Every person deserves the right to hear the Truth, Jesus Saves! We can't save them, but we can tell them. Be right-do right.

Proverbs 23:1-3 warns us to be alert to our company and our appetite. Greed and uncontrollable desire for "things" will cause hurt and even death.Watch your desire of things that come before your desire to love The LORD with all your heart.

Psalm 51:1-7 Shares with us a good model for prayer.Do your try and agree with The Lord Jesus Christ in your prayers? What bold statements about GOD and His acts do you tell Him about? What has GOD done for you? Have you thanked Him for Himself? Consider The LORD and then be grateful for His blessings. Selah.

2nd Corinthians 11:16-33 allows us to see and hear Paul's testimony. Have you a testimony? Have you written down those things GOD has done for you? Can you say v31 in your prayer life? What has GOD done for you that you are not ashamed of and who have you told about your encounter with The LORD? Brag on GOD! Boast of The LORD.

Isaiah 6:1-7:25 allows us to overhear a heavenly conversation between The LORD and The Lord and observe how a human can be moved to fear and worship GOD. Keep in mind what The LORD was accomplishing by causing this man to serve Him, to warn the children in Jerusalem of pending judgment. In all this turmoil, GOD makes this marvellous announcement in v7:14 speaking about an event to come in about 700 years, the birth of Jesus. What did you learn about GOD? Omniscience? Amen. pj

9 September is a nicer day. Thank The LORD for His presence and His blessings. All of us should be grateful and thankful for our caregivers.I am thankful for my wife who suffers and serves with grace.

Proverbs 22:28-29 declares acts that are required to be prosperous. Obedience is essential to joy and blessings.Loyalty to leadership is basis for promotion. Be right and then do right. Repent to GOD and have faith in The Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.

Psalm 53:1-6 is compatible with Psalm 52.It is more important what The LORD thinks of you than what you think of yourself. In the mind of GOD are you foolish? How is your conduct?Do you have knowledge? One day, even today, we may be required to give "our" report on our stewardship activities.Do your prayers agree with those of Jesus Christ? If not,why not?Do not be fearful if you are in His hand. Selah.

2nd Corinthians 11:1-15 causes us to be sensitive to the Word of GOD and leadable by His Holy Spirit. We are to be instruments of GOD for His glory.Read to know Him and study to know right from wrong. Be alert to the Enemy's tricks and lies. Believe GOD.

Isaiah 3:1-5:30 Allow me to share some of a commentary from Henrietta C. Mears,What The BIBLE is all About, concerning The Prophet Isaiah.Page 185"The prophets-Their Character". "The prophets were fearless men. They denounced the sins of their day. They called people away from idols back to God.It is true that the prophets were concerned about the moral and political corruption of the nation, but the fact that the people were worshiped idols was their greatest concern. The nation had a wrong attitude toward God. Christ gave us a succinct statement of what our attitude should be: Love the Lord your God with all your heart(Luke 10:27). A person's attitude toward God will affect his whole moral life. Creed always determines conduct. This is true not only of individuals but of nations. The adage "it makes no difference what a man believes" is completely refuted in the prophets. The prophet exposed the cold formalism of their religion. They constantly reminded the people that Jehovah was the only true God.They pointed men to the law. They were statesmen of the highest order. They were prophets in that they came to tell forth what God said. They were only forth-tellers but also fore-tellers. So important is prophecy in God's Word that it occupies about one third of the whole Bible.Prophecy is God's revelation of his plan to his children."
Let me suggest you start again at Isaiah 1:1 and look again at how GOD was revealing Himself first to the prophet, then to the children and then seek an understanding of a living message for us today concerning the future earthly ministry of Christ. pj Pray for our leaders in the government and the church.
8 September Tuesday has been a very difficult day. Betty and I got to read between trips to the ER and DR office. The first ER at 3-7AM, the 2nd from 7-10PM and then an office call from 9-11 AM. Please excuse, no comments today. Keep on reading to know Him and you will not be disappointed. Be like Isaiah, seek GOD diligently. pj

7 September Labor Day and every one wants to play and not work. Hope you are safe and secure in your place and all things are in perfect order.

Song of Solomon 5:1-8:14 presents a lovely environment and projects a happy encounter between two people in love. How do you translate that into your concept of GOD and your relationship and fellowship with Jesus Christ? There is a sense of events and the passing of time and those missed opportunities. How do you express your joy to GOD The Father for the time you spend with God The Son? How does this tender love affair between Jesus and The Church impact your concept of GOD?

2nd Corinthians 9:1-15 Stewardship is being stressed. The church is being warned to consider their giving. Each person must give an account unto The LORD and we need to understand that our giving affects our walk and fellowship with the Lord.

Psalm 51:1-19 offers a different approach to our stewardship. What does GOD want from us? Is there evidence in your life of a true sincere admission of guilt, a confession with contrition and tears, a request that The LORD wash you throughly? If GOD will favor you what will you promise to GOD? What do you want to have before The LORD? IF He has done for you this cleansing where is the evidence? Who have you taught all you know about GOD? Selah. Make v15 a daily prayer request. Amen.

Proverbs 22:24-25 Be right and be careful. Amen. pj
6 September is the day that we all have been waiting for so that we could go to church. What happened? WOW we were down in SS Class attendance, only 14/39. Some were on the road, some solving problems with neighbors, some with banged up big toes, some with unplanned work requirements and some just tooooo busy with other things. Please don't put The LORD knowingly in second place. We have finished Job and Ecclesiastes and started on The Song of Solomon. It has been suggested that we could replace the theme of these books with the name of Jesus Christ and find absolute joy. Look for the personal love demonstrated in The Song of Solomon as representing Christ's love for His Church. Hear Him call your name, diligently search for Him and if He is the love of your life, then act like it.Be wholly committed to GOD.

Proverbs 22:22-23 Do you consider yourself a "good" Samaritan? What does GOD think of you and your concern for the poor, oppressed and needy? Whom do we serve? Amen.

Psalm 50:1-23 presents us as guilty of neglect and forgetful of GOD and His handiwork. How can we give an account of our stewardship when we are so indifferent to the ways of The LORD? Seek to know Him, put your life in order, repent, return to the commandments of GOD confess our sins and believe He will forgive us and cleanse us of all our sins. Cause us to be specific in our confession and petitions. Selah.

2nd Corinthians 8:16-24 shows us additional snapshots of GOD and warns us of His soon return. There will be evidence demonstrated in and by our stewardship. Who is bragging about your faithfulness to The LORD?

Song of Solomon 1:1-4:16 demonstrates the love of GOD for His Son, who loves The Church with an unending love, a perfect love that is given and responded to by the church. When we read His letter(Bible) to us and we remember how He sought us and cared for us while we were yet sinners,we want to run into His arms and let Him, GOD Almighty, tenderly accept us and care for us all the time. Where are you now? pj

5 September Saturday is upon us and we are anxious for Sunday. We had a very satisfying "short" visit with all our children and grandchildren Friday PM and Saturday AM in the lake house at Lake Cherokee. We are grateful for peace, joy, happiness, cooperation, harmony, confidence and assurance of The LORD's blessings today. We look forward to the future, all is in GOD's pleasure and we are favored because He is faithful, loving, ever present and no respecter of persons. We believe.

Proverbs 22:20-21 We are to be ready to give an answer. The LORD has provided each believer sufficient opportunity to read His Word and to know Him.Be/get ready.

Psalm 49:1-20 We do reap what we sow.All things are known by GOD. All men will give an account of all thoughts, deeds and stewardship. The LORD will be just. Amen.

2nd Corinthians 8:1-15 records evidence of these people and their stewardship. The key to joy in giving is shown is v5, and this is available to every believer. We choose to give ourselves to the love of our life. Do you have a willing mind? Look at v12-15 and strengthened your grip on your stewardship. What is your want? Selah.

Ecclesiastes 10:1-12:14 concludes the sayings by the preacher. What have you learned about yourself? As you have read the inspired Word of GOD what have you learned about GOD?I suggest you keep your axe/knife/sword and mind sharp. Learn to be sensitive about circumstances around you.Don't just listen, hear. Consider the truths shown in chapter 12 and start by remembering GOD first. Be sure all men will die and be buried, except the Rapture occur first, and what will be said at their funeral? Pay attention to the preacher as you stand by the grave and take heed to the truths in v13-14. The day of accountability is coming. Get/Be right-do right. pj
*** Hope to see you in our SS Class, Be there or you will be missed.

4 September Friday and Sunday is coming. Are you planning to be read up, prayed up, completed your home work from last week, planning to be in class by 09:45 and ready to participate in the class discussion with your table group. YEA!! We could have more than 30 members in our class, growing in grace and knowledge, loving and praying for one another. We will be having a class party very soon to celebrate all of our birthdays, anniversaries and good fortune. Read to know Him and remember He loves you if you read in the AM or PM or miss a day due to hard circumstances. Be careful, this blog may not make sense if you don't read your 365 FIRST. Selah.

Proverbs 22:17-19 We will be blessed when we hear Truth. We will be blessed when we apply the Truth to our conversation/lifestyle. We will be blessed when we diligently seek for knowledge of The Holy. Be right, do right and trust The LORD.

Psalm 48:1-14 This is a beautiful Psalm to sing. Look for snapshots of The LORD and take note of His promises.Put v14 on your tombstone so that all can see who have trusted in/on from now to eternity. Amen. Selah.

2nd Corinthians 7:8-16 reminds us that our conduct affects others, hopefully to joy and or godly sorrow. We, you and I represent The LORD to the saved and to the lost. What makes you happy and joyful? Let us be careful in our conversation so that others will be edified because of our time spent together.

Ecclesiastes 7:1-9:18 How does v1 impact your concept of GOD? Today's reading provides a great text for funerals. It speaks about those departed and provides excellent advice for those left behind. How much similarity do you find in your goals for your life and those expressed by the preacher? What do you seek after?Take note of v8:11ff and check your motive about your conduct. If we are not careful we may misunderstand the mercy of GOD and consider it leniency toward the ungodly thereby causing us to become slack in our conduct. Remember wisdom is better than strength, get wisdom. Be diligent. Do right. Hear, believe and trust GOD. Amen. pj
3 September Thursday and on the best side of a short hospital stay. Thank The LORD for His care in making our body in the image of GOD. For out of the dirt He made things that are wonderful. When we abuse our body and need for a physician to invade our body with wires/devices,lights and, cameras to remove things that should not be where they are, I am VERY Thankful for drugs that causes me to "not feel a thing" for a season.Yea!for doctors and medicine. I am grateful for GOD training and equipping men and women to serve and treat others with kindness and respect. As our granddaughter might say "I'm not sick I'm happy." I am happy today.

Ecclesiastes 4:1-6:12 demonstrates those that have and those that have not are similar in their vexation. We should work at keeping our eyes on The LORD and not be busy about comparing things that we have or have not. Greed will always defile and it is a sore evil. Stewardship is central in this book reminding us of the gifts that GOD has bestowed upon us for His glory. Each of us have the opportunity to influence others towards GOD or away from Him. What have you done today for GOD?

2nd Corinthians 6:14-7:7 reminds us of our responsibility of pointing men towards The LORD. GOD expects us to be wholly committed to Him. The LORD expects us to live a sanctified life. The Lord has given us His Spirit of Truth so that we can live a victorious life today. We,if we are saved, should act like we are The King's kids.

Psalm 47:1-9 Why do we not sing and praise Him with all of our heart and with a loud voice? Remember what He has said, done and promised to do for those that love Him.

Proverbs 22:16 why do you put your money into sacks that have holes in them? Let us be careful in how we treat others and respectful to The LORD. pj

2 September Hope you are well mentally and physically. Read to know Him and then seek to follow Him. Make some goals about your life that are achievable and strive to be faithful to your GOD and Lord by The power of His Holy Spirit. Can He do all things through you and me? If not, why not? We have finished the book Job and benefited from his encounter with The LORD, Satan and "friends". Please don't forget what GOD declared about Job was true before the test/trial/trouble and was so in fact at the end of his life.Have you learned to trust the wisdom, judgment and mercy of our Heavenly Father? If He is no respecter of persons, and He is,what does He think of you and what plans does He have in mind to refine you so that you will come forth as pure gold and in the image of His Dear Son. We have this and heaven too. Now we begin the Book of Ecclesiastes which is written by a very rich Jew who refers to himself as a preacher, the son of David and King of Jerusalem. It will become evident that riches are not always the answer. We should learn where the true riches are and who gives them to us. This book will cause you to get your eyes off things.

Ecclesiastes 1:1-3:22 allows us to see events through the eyes of this wise and rich man. When we look on the horizontal everything is under the sun and we have a good opportunity to look at people and things and then we "can" get bitter. It is not bad to get wisdom, however without understanding of what you have learned is sorrow. Remember we all must give an account of all the things we have received from The LORD. Have you reached a "turning point" in your life? Watch how your concept of GOD is influenced by this book. Look at Hebrews 9:27 and consider your stewardship.

2nd Corinthians 6:1-13 causes us to consider why we do what we do and what is our motive. We can learn how to minister to others by these verses. There is a DAY coming when all things will be accomplished for the glory of GOD.

Psalm 46:1-11 One Day He,GOD,will be exalted in the earth.Selah.What are we doing today to make people aware of The LORD? What type of conversation do we practice?

Proverbs 22:15 We need not teach a child to be a sinner. We need to show, teach and model GOD before our children and even to correct them with wisdom and the rod. pj
1 September Tuesday is here and we are not yet saved. This could be the day that our salvation will be finished and the next face we see will be that of our Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ. Maranatha! We have been reading for eight months and we are 2/3 the way through of reading the 365 Bible to know Him. Don't quit or give up, but keep on day by day meeting with GOD in His Word, expecting the Holy Spirit to teach you all things and to guide you into wholly living for GOD for His glory and your joy to be full. There are several people in Victory Baptist who have been reading through their 365 Bible for more than 10 years. One said to me, It makes my day! Others have said, where would I be now if I had not read? Stay by the stuff.

Job 40:1-42:17 Buckle up and hang on for we are going to read about a personal experience that Job had with The LORD GOD Almighty, a stand to and answer oral exam before the entire world. Stewardship and accountability. This account must influence your concept of GOD. All of us need to consider that GOD is no respecter of persons and what He asked of Job may very well be asked of us. Would you start like Job and admit and confess and then cover your mouth? What snapshot of The LORD comes into your mind and heart? What is your concept of GOD? It is important what you think of GOD and also what you think about yourself when you compare the creation to The Creator. I find it interesting that the three friends of Job were dealt with, but Elihu was not mentioned. What a testimony to the Person and Power of GOD in dealing with His world and all of its inhabitants. Job lived well, died, being old and full of days. What is your goal in life and what will be on your tombstone? Selah.

2nd Corinthians 5:12-21 asks several questions? What constrains you and are you in Christ? The evidences of the new birth are described plainly. The ministry that every believer recieves is from GOD. The Lord never requires anything from us that we do not have. FACT! He does require accountability for everything He has given us. FACT! We are his workmanship. Be reconciled and be busy getting others reconciled.

Psalm45:1-17 Is there any thing that GOD does not know? Are there people that do not know GOD? What are doing about telling them? What does GOD love> What do you love?

Proverbs 22:14 Makes a strong contrast, what do men hate and what does that make them vulnerable to? Let us be mindful of our desires and devotion. Selah. Amen. pj
