6 September is the day that we all have been waiting for so that we could go to church. What happened? WOW we were down in SS Class attendance, only 14/39. Some were on the road, some solving problems with neighbors, some with banged up big toes, some with unplanned work requirements and some just tooooo busy with other things. Please don't put The LORD knowingly in second place. We have finished Job and Ecclesiastes and started on The Song of Solomon. It has been suggested that we could replace the theme of these books with the name of Jesus Christ and find absolute joy. Look for the personal love demonstrated in The Song of Solomon as representing Christ's love for His Church. Hear Him call your name, diligently search for Him and if He is the love of your life, then act like it.Be wholly committed to GOD.

Proverbs 22:22-23 Do you consider yourself a "good" Samaritan? What does GOD think of you and your concern for the poor, oppressed and needy? Whom do we serve? Amen.

Psalm 50:1-23 presents us as guilty of neglect and forgetful of GOD and His handiwork. How can we give an account of our stewardship when we are so indifferent to the ways of The LORD? Seek to know Him, put your life in order, repent, return to the commandments of GOD confess our sins and believe He will forgive us and cleanse us of all our sins. Cause us to be specific in our confession and petitions. Selah.

2nd Corinthians 8:16-24 shows us additional snapshots of GOD and warns us of His soon return. There will be evidence demonstrated in and by our stewardship. Who is bragging about your faithfulness to The LORD?

Song of Solomon 1:1-4:16 demonstrates the love of GOD for His Son, who loves The Church with an unending love, a perfect love that is given and responded to by the church. When we read His letter(Bible) to us and we remember how He sought us and cared for us while we were yet sinners,we want to run into His arms and let Him, GOD Almighty, tenderly accept us and care for us all the time. Where are you now? pj
