11 September What a day to pause and be grateful, thankful and mindful of the great event of 9-11. Where were you that day? What effect is in your life because of this event? Do you hate the sin? What sin do you hate? Over the last eight years, how often did/have you remembered and prayed for those families that were destroyed in the crash of those four airplanes? We have become complacent. How similar are we to the children of Judah in Jerusalem in the days of Isaiah? We read, but have we learned anything about GOD and His hatred for sin? Jihad! What word is true/truth? We must become sensitive to our circumstances and the acts of our Enemy. Wake up!

Isaiah 8:1-9:21 ask the question of whom do you fear? There is forgiveness for sin/sins, but that does take away the consequence of sin.Stewardship is The LORD's manner of accountability, what you sow, you shall reap. Mark the "snapshots" of GOD and pay attention to how people abuse the mercy of GOD. Do you have any sympathy for those people of v8:22 that are driven to darkness? Does this reading change your prayer life? If you sense a fear and anguish today, keep on reading to v9:6-7 and then start praying "thank you LORD" for Your provision of The Child and how You have promised and will perform. Read and learn about The LORD to know Him and put this truth in your memory"For all his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still". How does this verse(v9:21b) impact your concept of GOD?

2nd Corinthians 12:1-10 How has the grace of GOD influenced you life? What do you glory in? What has The LORD promised to believers? What does "for Christ's sake" mean to you?

Psalm 55:1-23 What have you asked GOD to do for you? Do you believe that your prayers are in agreement with those of Jesus Christ concerning your request? If not, why not? Do you"really" cast your burdens upon The LORD? How often do you pray?

Proverbs 23:4-5 ask "What are you working for?" IT does not say to not work, carefully read the verses again.Where did you get your wisdom? Look back at Proverbs 3:5-6 and rethink your attitude towards what you are doing. Selah. pj
