Monday 7 September 2014, summer is almost over and there are many who have not heard nor been saved.  Beg God for the door of opportunity for you to be The Stepping Stone so that a sinner may hear, believe, receive The Gospel and get the GIFT of eternal life.

Lesson # 37 One Year Bible & Comments for period 7-13 September 2014.  As you read this week seek to find the names, attributes and traits of God. Note the “promises” stated and act as if it is written to you.
Observe the sins recorded and spend time confessing your sins as you read. Consider writing out a prayer of thanksgiving to God for how He has prospered you because you have read to know Him. Take inventory of your marriage by the use of key words recorded in the Song of Solomon.
7 Sun Song of Solomon 5:1-8:14, 2ndCorinthians 9:1-15, Psalm 51:1-19 & Proverbs 22:24-25.
From now through December 31 we will be instructed by the prophets of the Pre-exilic, Exilic and Postexilic periods concerning the Jews and their captivity.  Read these prophets writings as they refer to the initial event, then to the upcoming captivity and restoration, as to Christ and ultimately to the Millennium and the New Heaven and the New Earth- Prophecy! Look for the phrase “Holy One of Israel.  When was “Holy, Holy, Holy first proclaimed? Focus on a key verse at Isaiah 6:3.

 8 Mon Isaiah 1:1-2:22, 2ndCorinthians 10:1-18, Psalm 52:1-9 & Proverbs22:26-27.
As you read 2ndCorinthians consider verses 4:5, 5:17-21 and 9:15 as key verses. Note the use of the words: gift, sorrow, glory, gospel, minister, suffering, affliction, flesh and comfort. Take time to evaluate your stewardship.

9 Tue Isaiah 3:1-5:30, 2ndCorinthians 11:1-15, Psalm 53:1-6 & Proverbs 22:28-29.
10 Wed Isaiah 6:1-7:25, 2ndCorinthians 11:16:33, Psalm 54:1-7 & Proverbs 23:1-3.

Spend some time in prayer being thankful for God’s tender mercies and lovingkindness. Connect the beauty of Psalm 51 and Isaiah 1:16-20 as you consider God’s Holiness and your / our sinfulness. Cry out often unto God Psalm 57:1.
11 Thu Isaiah 8:1-9:21, 2ndCorinthians 12:1-10, Psalm 55:1-23 & Proverbs 23:4-5.

12 Fri Isaiah 10:1-11:16, 2ndCorintians 12:11-21, Psalm 56:1-13 & Proverbs 23:6-8.
Reflect upon the good name that you have chosen. Read to know God and discipline yourself to believe what you read that God has said. Allow the Proverbs to provoke you to seek knowledge, yet recall the lesson given at Proverbs 3:5-12. Be warned about how you choose your friends. Set some landmarks of faith for yourself and your family.

13 Sat Isaiah 12:1-14:32, 2ndCorinthians 13:1-14, Psalm 57:1-11 & Proverbs 23:9-11.
Keep your discipline in order. Do away with habits. Be prompt in your obedience. Have respect for God’s truth. Repent, believe, obey and go and tell what great things God has done for you.
