July 26th Sunday and the big day to celebrate. We had a good group (27) of people for class. We miss those that were not there and will pray that next Sunday all will be there, on time, read and prayed up, ready to share. We have the potential to average more than 36 when "all" are in their places with bright shiny smiling faces.YEA! If you were not there please call some one who was there and get a copy of this week's homework.Who on earth do you want praying for you?

Proverbs 20:2-3 Have you been honourable this week? When you read this verse who is the lion a picture of? Who/which king do you fear? Selah? If you were to meet a real full size lion in your back yard how would you react?

Psalm20:1-9 Do we only want The LORD to hear us in the day of trouble? When "every thing" is neat, orderly, paid for and in order how often do you call on GOD? What provision is being asked for in verse 9? How do you apply verse 6 to your life?

Romans 9:25-10:12 brings us to some central verses in the "Romans Road". Have you considered verse 28 and determined what does it mean, "a short work"? Works are the evidence(s)of FAITH in action. How many of these verses do you read as FACT and just accept them as Truth? It has been said"don't put a question mark where GOD has put a period". I strongly suggest you mark between verse 9and10 the date of your salvation, if you know for sure that you are saved. If you know the date of your baptism you might insert that between verse 11-12. This would be a good witnessing tool when you share your testimony with some one you care for. Try it.

2nd Chronicles 17:1-18:34 We have the opportunity to read again the history of the acts of a good king who made some bad decisions. We ought to learn from the mistakes of King Jehoshaphat and see the consequences of cooperating with ungodly people. The LORD blessed Judah, but we soon see they are turned to curses as we read today and tomorrow. Why do we violate simple guidelines? What is so difficult about "trust and obey"? We have the opportunity to see the risks associated with being true to GOD. Is it worth it to be slapped around and put into prison for speaking truth? Whom do we fear the most? How does peer pressure affect you? Are you impressed at the ability of GOD to take a random arrow launched at a venture by an unknown man to find a small open unprotected part of the back of King Ahab and kill him? Consider John3:36 and Hebrews 9:27 and think of where King Ahab has been since this day? We need to learn truths relating to friendships.Be careful who you cooperate with. pj
