you what he did to King Azariah? How did adding a new altar offend God? Re-read
Exodus 27:1-8 to better understand the offense of King Ahaz. How was greed,
envy and peer pressure applied by Demetrius with his fellow craftsmen against
Paul and the gospel?
Tue-6-30-2nd Kings 17:1-18:12, Acts 20:1-38,
Psalms 148:1-14 & Proverbs 18:6-7. Why did God remove Israel? What impact
did verse17:18-23 make on your concept of God’s love and mercy? What good
qualities did King Hezekiah demonstrate to please God? How/why ought we to
imitate Paul’s life style as recorded at verse20:19-24? After reading Psalm 148
why do you praise the LORD?

Psalms 149:1-9 & Proverbs 18:8. What confidences in God did King Hezekiah
demonstrate? How did the Assyrians employ “psywar” against the Jews? What did
you learn about God as you read the King’s prayer in chapter 19? Why is
fellowship with Christians important? Did you pray back Psalm 149?

Psalms 150:1-6 & Proverbs 18:9-10. What attributes did the LORD demonstrate
in verses 20:1-11? How did Manasseh demonstrate his rebellion? Why did the Jews
want to kill Paul? Who ought to praise the LORD? Why should we avoid the
slothful?
Fri-7-3-2nd Kings 22:3-23:30, Acts 21:37-22:16,
Psalms 1:1-16 & Proverbs 18:11-12. What trait or attribute did the LORD
show to King Josiah using the book of the law? What did you gain by reading chapter
23? Do verses 26-27 cause you to fear God? What did Paul demonstrate in his
testimony? Has your concept of God changed as you re-read Psalm 1 today verse
the first time 1 January 2016?
Sat-7-4-2nd Kings 23:31-25:30, Acts
22:17-23:10, Psalms 2:1-12 & Proverbs 18:13. HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY! Suggest
you read Psalm 2 first/before 2nd Kings and then take time to appreciate God’s
provisions in times past and today. What impact does verse 24:20 have on your concept
of God? Are you prepared to say as Paul verse 23:1? How are you serving the
LORD with fear and rejoicing with trembling? Be sure to “HEAR” the question
before you give an answer.
Sun-7-5-1st Chronicles 1:1-2:17, Acts
23:11-35, Psalms 3:1-8 & Proverbs 18:14-15. How many “first” did you
discover in 1st Chronicles? How did the LORD show Himself for Paul’s
favor today? How many contrasts are shown in Psalm 3? Are you prudent? How is
your spirit?
