Monday, 25 Feb, 2013-964 day left, Friday is coming, then Sunday. Keep on reading. I will be away from my system for a few days, but will be reading and will update you soon. When you see a promise in the scriptures believe and apply the principals taught. When you see a sin, seek wisdom about not getting involved in a sin like that today.
If you are a child of The King and you are overcome by a sin, admit, confess, repent towards The LORD, ask your Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ to intercede on your behalf for forgiveness and cleansing. Read 1st John 1:1-10, read and believe, and do what it tells you to do.
Read the scriptures aloud. Take time to enjoy the Truth. Flee the appearance of evil. Draw neigh to God. Read Psalm 37 again and note the verbs and practice being and doing what they say. Pay attention to being clean or getting clean physically, emotionally and spiritually. Read and pray without ceasing. Hide (memorize) the Word in your heart. Read to know Him. luvpj

Friday, 22Feb 2013, 965 day remaining and Sunday is coming. Hope you are reading to know Him. Are you getting ready to go to Bethel and prepared to worship El Bethel?
Proverbs 10:10 "He that winketh with the eye causeth sorrow: but a prating fool shall fall." How do you read this and pray back to your Adonai and Jehovah for understanding and undertaking? We have been taught, as we read, to ask in the name of Jesus to The Father for wisdom. We are encouraged to believe what we read. This means we put into action our faith to be right, do right and by His grace don't quit. We don't want to be as a fool. We don't want to make light of the things that impact our conversation nor the life of others by winking or joking. Yea, LORD, keep us back from sacrificing the things that are permanent on the altar of the temporary or immediate.
If we read, believe and apply Psalm 39:1- , and be sensitive to the leadership of The Holy Spirit of God, then He will get glory and we will be joyful. The life of faith cannot be separated from The Word of God.
When we read that Mark 6:6 recorded that he (Jesus) marvelled at their unbelief, and v5 stated " And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them." Ought we to pray that we not fall into disbelief and Jesus say to us, "where is your faith?"
As we read Leviticus chap 13 we need to realize how serious and important it is to be sanitary. Leprosy is real and very serious. If we could see that the impact of sin is like the impact of leprosy and being declared unclean. We have the blessed hope of coming to The Great High Priest, The Lord Jesus Christ, for cleansing, forgiveness and salvation. Yea, when God declares a person clean, they are clean. We believe in Eternal Salvation, once saved, saved forever. Look at John 3:36. luvpj

20 Feb 2013, Wed-967 days remaining. Friday is coming and then Sunday. How is your reading? We ought to read our Bible to know God. If you miss a day or two, do not feel guilty and read to catch up, lest you develop an attitude laced with guilt and performance based acceptance. God loves us unconditionally.
We ought to read, we ought to be right, do right and not quit, yet we as humans allow Satan to get an advantage over us and then we backslide and let those presumptuous sins to have dominion over us. Stop it!! Read to know Him! Now, if you are not saved, you need to read to see yourself as lost, see God's hand of love offering forgiveness and salvation, agree that you are a sinner, repent towards God, and read/hear/believe what He is saying and receive the gift of eternal life.
Live like Aaron the High Priest. See Aaron as the OT example of Jesus. See Aaron as your example as a believer and follower of The Lord Jesus Christ. See the reality of Jesus renting the vail of this Holy Tabernacle so that we, as sons of God, might enter in to the presence of Jehovah, and cry Abba, Father. We do not need a man nor a priest, for we are made priest. Read to know Him and what He has done for you so that you may be and act fearfully and with respect unto The LORD God.
Read Mark 5 and see yourself. If you are saved, take time to be thankful and grateful for God's mercy and love for you while you were yet a sinner, yet now a son of God. Can we agree that a person that is not saved is of his father, the Devil, and is possessed by demons. All people are born sinners! There is none righteous. If we brag, let us give The LORD credit for us being worth any thing.
Allow Psalm 37 to correct your concept of God. Accept the requirements established for living a God honoring life, receive His mercy as He repairs us and expect His grace to sustain us as we follow Him, for His glory and our joy. Apply the instructions given at Proverbs 10:6-7, be thankful. NOW, get right-be right-stay right then do good and don't quit. Read to know TRUTH. luvpj

Sat 16 Feb 2013-973 days left- Sunday is coming! Hope you are reading, getting to know God somewhat "better" and beginning to realize how blessed you are to call Him Father.
The instruction given "to us" at proverbs 9:9-10 "Give instruction to a wise man, and he will yet be wiser; teach a just man, and he will increase in learning. ((are you teachable?)) The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding."((are you fearful? Do you have understanding?)) We really do not need to go any farther. If you will not respond to The LORD you are helpless and perhaps hopeless. Yet, there is hope.
Elohim has caused us to also know Him as Jehovah. Exodus has shown us what is involved to worship God. We get to see what must take place before the High Priest enters into the "Holy of Holies" to offer a sacrifice for the sins of the people of Jehovah. We fast forward to today and as sons of God we are enjoined to enter into this holy place as priest to express our devotion, confess our sins and hear His words. We do not need a man to go before us! The Lord Jesus Christ is our High Priest!
As we read in Matthew about the life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus we are reminded of the portrayals of this given in the OT. It is all according to scriptures. What was concealed in the OT has been revealed in the NT! God loves us!!
Psalm34:11" Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD." Are you teachable? Will you believe what you read in the scriptures? Will you let these sayings sink down into your ears? Read to know Him. As you read, express your appreciation to Him in prayer. Practice saying "Thank you" for the breath you have and the ability to read, hear, see and believe. Hope to see you in SS and church Sunday. luvpj

Tuesday 12 Feb 2013-977 days remaining- Friday is looming and Sunday is coming. Are you ready for the "Rapture"? How do you react to this verse, 1st Corinthians 16:22 "If any man love not the Lord Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha." This is a verse than overpowers all churches. In the OT the Jews worshipped Bethel. Today we worship the church. Jehovah instructed His children to worship El Bethel, The Elohim of the house/church of Elohim, The God of the house of God.
Do you know Him? As you read do you see His attributes, read His promises, heed His rebuke / reproof, receive His corrections and attend to His teachings in righteousness? If not, why not? The Proverb (9:6) for today instructs us to "forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding." All of us have a choice and all of us will reap the consequence of our choices.
Psalm 33 reminds all of us that to be blessed, then God/Elohim is and must be our LORD/Jehovah. Read v33:18 and update your concept and fear factor of God. When you read Matthew 27:25 what hurt comes into your inner man? Is Barabbas someone you relate to?
Exodus 34 and 35 allow us to see Jehovah showing Himself so that we might know Him. We get to see the severity of sin and its punishment demonstrated in both OT and NT today. Take time to be grateful. If you can't be thankful, take time to call me and I will share scriptures so that you may see God's plan of redemption for you. Salvation is a gift!!!Read to know Him and believe what you read. Pray for our leaders, troops in harms way, missionaries and the lost. luvpj hope to see you.

11 Feb 2013-978 days left-Friday is coming, then Sunday! Hope you are reading to know Him. As we were reading this AM, I thought about this great dilemma, we are near to repeating what the children of Jehovah did in the days of Moses. Has it not been said that if we don't know our history we will repeat it?
As you read today, ponder how similar the circumstances and events around the Jews with Moses, the followers/disciples following Jesus and your family in/out of the local Bible-Baptist church today. We are a stiff neck people! We are disobedient, liars, ungrateful, selfish, greedy and not bent towards obedience to Truth, but apt to get naked and play. I do not want to be negative, but I want my family and yours to seek to know God as Elohim, Jehovah, Almighty God and Saviour. What are you going to do about yourself and those of your family? What/who is FIRST in your life?
I hope you read and rejoiced today.I pray we seek to act/be/do righteousness. We have Psalm 33:11 "The counsel of the LORD standeth for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generation", for light, illumination, wooing, warning and hope. What a promise! Read to know Him.
We must attend to the admonitions of the Proverbs and hear instructions. If we want to be "Blessed" then obedience is required. Grace to be and do are the gift of God, yet we get to apply the gift. Be warned and don't sin against God. The fear of God is the beginning of wisdom and the knowledge of The Holy is understanding. He is holy and will not "fellowship" with darkness/unholiness.
We must get right, walk in the light, if we have IT. If you do not have the "light" of redemption in your life, please seek to Him. Admit and confess that you have sinned against God. Believe that Jesus is the only way to God The Father for forgiveness/salvation. Believe that God raised Jesus from the grave the third day and thou shalt be saved. Let me know and I will show you scriptures for wisdom and assurance. It is by faith through grace, a gift from God. luvpj

9 Feb 2013-980 days left- Friday is past and Sunday is coming! Hope you have been reading to know Him. Take some time a make a list of your "Top 10" favorite Names of God that you enjoy using when you are praising Him in your prayers. Look again at Exodus 6, John chaps 1 & 17, Psalm 22-24, Isaiah chaps 1 & 6 and Ezra9:4-6.
As you read Exodus 29 & 30 did you pause long enough to picture yourself as a third or fourth generation Aaron? We have been made Priest! I understand we do not make animal sacrifices, however how do you prepare your heart to enter through the rent vail/veil to offer your praise, thanksgiving and prayers in the name of Adonai unto your Jehovah?
Are you qualified to take the Lord's Supper? As you read Matthew's account of the events concerning the passover meal and then the Lord's communion how do you ask the question, " Is it I"?
Please take time as you read to pray. Perhaps Psalm 31:19 "Oh how great is thy goodness, which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee(do you fear Him)(Oh Lord cause me to fear thee); which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee before the sons of men!(Lord, I thank you for your works that you have done for me)--v24" "Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart(Father for Jesus sake, I thank Thee for favoring me), all ye that hope in the LORD". Look at Psalm 62:5.
Read the Proverbs in complete sentences. Keep in mind every verse that we read as a promise always has conditions. Don't be afraid of Jehovah Elohim, yet fear Him. Read to know God. Learn His names through His demonstrated traits. He wants us to know Him! Believe what you read. luvpj
PS hope to see you in Bethel(House of God). Let us join together to worship El Bethel(The God of the House of God). Our class starts at 9:45, FLC,VBC

8 Feb 2013, Friday, 981 days left, but Sunday is coming! How is your reading? Look back at James 4:17and confess, repent and strive to get right, be right, then do right and don't quit.
Exodus 6:1-3 "Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shalt thou see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land. And God spake unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD: and I appeared unto Abraham, unto Issac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them".
How does this Truth impact your concept of who He is???? When you pray whom do you address, God or Lord as Elohim and or GOD or LORD as Jehovah? This information has changed my prayer life and reading experience causing it to be more specific. Jehovah deals with His people and Elohim deals with the nations. Seek to know Him as you read.
Matthew is drawing to the end of his account of the life of Jesus. Hopefully you have seen the care Jesus uses when telling the parables. Today Jesus makes plain the difference between the saved/sheep and the lost/goats. We are not made righteous by works. We work because we have been made righteous by believing the finished work of Jesus, The Christ of Elohim, and accepting the free gift of salvation according to the scriptures.
The Psalms and the Proverbs declare Truth. Truth is often called wisdom. Do you seek for the wisdom from Elohim in the Bible? If you have doubt about what "the fear of Jehovah" is read again Proverbs 8:13 and then, act like you believe what you read. Time is fleeting and people need to hear and believe the offer of salvation according to the words of El Bethel. We are watchmen. luvpj

4 Feb 2013 ((985 days left)) Friday is close and Sunday is coming, Maranatha! Hope you have been reading to know God. We have had the grandchildren to visit, bible study with a group of young men, Sunday School and church and tonight the rodeo with emphasis on all military veterans. We get to read to know God and it is exciting to see again fresh and new what we have read before as it appears as if we had never read it before. Wow! It is like seeing the sun come up for the first time.
I hope you will spend some "extra" time to let the Exodus account enter your eyes, ears, mind, heart and soul about how God/Elohim//Jehovah-Elohim-I AM said "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." He said that He was Elohim a jealous Elohim. He said that we shalt not take the name of Jehovah-Elohim in vain. Spend some time in awe of God. Strive to develop a true sincere Biblical fear of The LORD. Adore Him for His mercy and kindness.
Consider Psalm 28 and then cry unto Jehovah for He is your rock. Jehovah is my strength! The admonition to the sons of men is given in the Proverbs. Hear the commandments, keep the commandments, obey the commandments and do right. Pray back that you desire wisdom. Visit again Psalm 1 and bless your Lord. We do right because we are sons of God. We do not try to do right so that we might be redeemed. Our salvation is by faith. How has God changed your "want-to"?luvpj
