YEA! We are into 2017 and expecting this to be the year, possibly this could be The Day. Are you ready to answer the question from God The LORD of "Why should I let you into heaven?" I hope you do know the only true response to this eternal question. When did II Corinthians come to pass in your life? When were you born again according to The Scriptures?

John 3:36 is the end, because you are or you are not saved and you have life or not. You know the answer and are without excuse. Read your Bible to know God. If you don't have a Bible go back to the web page and click on the tab for the One year Bible and read to know God.

Yesterday we read Genesis1:1-2:25, Matthew 1:1-2:12, Psalm 1:1-6 and Proverbs 1:-6 and discovered several of the names, attributes and traits of The LORD God Almighty. We saw some promises and learned what conditions were to be met in order to be blessed. We learned that God's mercy is free, fresh, ample and new every day. We know that He will provide the grace we need to be and do all that He ask. I've included the handout for the class to use this week.

Read to know God. Before you start to read take time to seek The LORD. Allow The Holy Spirit to have control, seek to be holy. Read and then apply 1st John 1:9 and follow the instructions. Be specific, confess your sins. Accept the cleansing promise of God and be grateful and thankful.
Start and keep on reading to know God. Read and make notes if you have the space each morning. Strive to have fellowship with The Lord your LORD. The rules for the class are: 1st Be right, 2nd Know right, 3rd is Do right and then Don’t Quit. Bring your One Year (365) Bible and be on time @ 09:45AM.

Can you summarize what you learned about The LORD this week into one sentence? Have you had a “WOW” moment this week because you have read your Bible?

If you do not read, don't get trapped into thinking you have to catch up in order to be current. This will cause you to develop a thought that you must read to please God and to be acceptable. Read and apply James 4:17. As you read, make snap shots, note key words, attributes-traits-names of God and refine your concept of The LORD, your Lord.          PS: Have you asked anyone to join with you as you read and pray?
