Daniel 8:1-27 allows us the opportunity to see in to the heart of Daniel and The LORD as they observe how the people are responding to captivity and waiting for deliverance.Babylon was not their home.This world is not our home.We have the promise as sure as did the Jews-One Day!We are linked into the palace in Shushan, do you remember where Ester was living?GOD favored Daniel with this vision of the future.The animals and horns represent nations and kings who are in bent on domination and destruction of GOD's children.Two conflicting goals, the time of the Gentiles and the Kingdom of GOD.The epicenter of all conflict is Jerusalem.Then-now!

1st John 2:1-17 again the proposition of holy living ought to follow conversion and salvation.GOD looks for evidence. There are works because of salvation, not to win nor keep salvation.We are forgiven and we should act like it is so, but we are faced with choices and we must choose wisely.How/what is your heart's desire?

Psalm 120:1-7 We are in this world, but we seek another home not made with hands.When in distress who do you call upon first? Seek the True-Only Deliverer.

Proverbs 28:25-26 Without wanting to be rude I ask, are you considered by GOD to be fat and wise?Selah. Watch out for pride and self-justification. We belong to GOD. pj
