Lesson #
10, One Year Bible comments, 2
March 2014. Read your Bible first. We are praying for you. I asked the people in the nursing home to pray for you today after I read to them our lesson in Leviticus, Mark and the Psalm for today's reading. Maranatha!
Hopefully you
have a One Year Bible (King James Version) arranged in 365 daily readings that
you can read along with us daily. If not the reading outline for 2-8 March is
given below. Please read the Bible first then consider the questions and
comments for each day. Suggest you seek to learn the names, attributes, traits
of God as you read so that you may know Him. When you determine a promise given
is applicable to you look also to the conditions for clarity.
Sun 2Mar
Leviticus25:47-27:13; Mark 10:32-52; Psalm 45:1-17; Proverbs 10:22. How does
Leviticus 26:9-42 impact your concept of God? Do you agree that the fear of God
is the beginning of wisdom? Are you both amazed and afraid when you read Mark’s
report? How are you making God’s name known to the people?
Mon 3Mar
Leviticus 27:14-Numbers 1:54; Mark11:1-26; Psalm 46:1-11; Proverbs 10:23. Is
everything in your sight and possession holy, most holy unto the LORD? If not
why not? Do you have faith in God? Learn how to pray and follow Jesus’
instruction. Does God consider you to
have understanding and wisdom? Is God your refuge, your only refuge?
Tue 4Mar
Numbers 2:1-3:51; Mark 11:27-12:17; Psalm 47:1-9; Proverbs 10:24-25. Look for
the attributes of God as instructions are given for how the nation is to
travel. Who gives orders was question by the Jews in the days of Moses as well
as in the days of Jesus? What do you learn about people? How did you exalt your
God today? Have your desires been granted today?
Wed 5Mar Numbers
4:1-5:31; Mark 12:18-37; Psalm 48:1-14; Proverbs 10:26. Faith is exercised and
demonstrated by obedience to God’s words and commandments. Take time to review
how many people are marching from the mount unto the promise land and be amazed
at the provisions of God. Do you believe in the resurrection of the dead? Are
you prepared for Maranatha? How does Mark 12:29 impact your life? Sing &
practice Psalm 48.
Thu 6Mar
Numbers 6:1-7:89; Mark 12:38-13:13; Psalm 49:120; Proverbs 10:27-28. Take time
to pray Numbers 6:22-27 for friends and foes. Does God speak to you each day?
Are you publishing the gospel? Take time to be thankful for your redemption,
Selah. Do you fear God?
Fri 7Mar
Numbers 8:1-9:23; Mark 13:14-37; Psalm 50:1-23; Proverbs 10:29-30. Are you awed
by the report of God showing up on the tabernacle in the wilderness? How do you
apply this truth in your life today? Are
the rapture and the revelation of Jesus Christ displayed in Mark’s letter? Have
you prepared for the rapture? Did you
see Psalm 19 in Psalm 50? How is the promise given at the proverbs so in your
life today?
Sat 8Mar
Numbers 10:1-11:23; Mark14:1-21; Psalm 51:1-19; Proverbs 10:31-32. What
attributes of God did you read and learn today? How did Judas find it convenient
to betray Jesus? Jesus did have the Passover with the twelve but the Lord’s
Supper with only eleven. Pray back Psalm 51 as you rehearse v17-19. Compare
Psalm 1 to Proverbs 10:31-32.
Do you know
Him as your Lord and Saviour? If not, let me guide you in the scriptures.
