Thursday, 20 August 2015, waiting for the trumpet, Maranatha. If you are reading the One Year Bible then you were able today to read and connect all four sections of the reading. What was happening 2700 years ago at Sushan the palace, links in Biblical principles with what was happening in the Psalms, New Testament and the Proverbs that have application for us today. Take some extra time to re-read the Proverbs 21:24 and pray that the LORD will overcome your sinful nature and keep you back from being that man described.

If we read the letter to the church at Corinth and grasp the magnitude of the quality referred to as charity and convert that to meaning LOVE, then we cannot misunderstand God's First commandment. We are undone without LOVE. He first loved us and Jesus even died for us while we were yet sinners. If this is not clear, then re-read Psalm 37 and be and do what it specifies.             Our (homemade) rule is to get right, Be right, Do right and don't quit.
