Mon-28-Job 28:1-30:31, 2^nd Corinthians 2:12-17, Psalm 42:1-11 & Proverbs 22:7. How are Job 28:28 and Proverbs 1:7 similar? What causes you to fear God, if you do? Where does one find wisdom? What is said about wisdom and understanding in Job 28? How did chapter 30 cause you to consider Jesus?

Tue-29-Job 31:1-33:33, 2^nd Corinthians 3:1-18, Psalm 43:1-5 & Proverbs 22:8-9. How are Job’s words at chapter 31 like to those of Jeremiah?  What hope is expressed in the Corinthians about the believer’s future? How is stewardship displayed in the Proverbs?

Wed-30-Job 34:1-36:33, 2^nd Corinthians 4:1-12, Psalm 44:1-8 & Proverbs 22:10-12. How did Elihu describe the infinite God to the finite man Job? When you hear that GOD is incomprehensible how do you respond?  After reading Psalm 44 take time to re-read 2^nd Chronicles 20 and see the hand of God providing for King Jehoshaphat and determine when and where you have been blessed and protected.

Thu-31 Job 37:1-39:30 what are the wondrous works of God? How does v37:14 impact your concept of God?  What/who is "terrible majesty"? What did you learn about God in chapter 38 & 39 that has impacted your life?  2 Corinthians 4:13-5:11; How does v14 cause you to have hope? How is this reading similar to Hebrews 11? What gives you confidence?  Psalm 44:8-26; How do you apply the admonition of Selah? How do you pray back v17?  Proverbs 22:13; Why are slothful men fearful?

Fri- Sep 1st  Job 40:1-42:17; What is important to you because you read 40:1&2? Why is it important for the animals to be named/listed by God? What did you learn about Job and yourself in chapter 42? How does this chapter "blend” into/with the reading in Corinthians?  2 Corinthians 5:12-21; How do you confess God's constraint on your life? Are you faithful to your ministry according to v17-21?  Psalm 45:1-17; Who is the psalmist describing?  How does this psalm relate to Job37:22?  Proverbs 22:14; What truth did you learn from this saying?

Take time to seek God early while He may be found. Seek to be amazed at His handiwork as you read Psalm 19. Recall the promises that you sense that are applicable in your life. Be quick to confess, repent and allow The Holy Spirit to expose your most intimate thoughts, desires and deeds. Believe what you read and then live as a child of The King, as a priest, a minister, ambassador and son of God. You are salt and light.   We all need to read to know Him as our Jehovah.

All men may be saved. All men are born sinners and have come short of the glory of God. The wage of SIN is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. You must be born again. Read Romans 10:8-13, 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 and Ephesians 2:8-10.

*Ecclesiastes: Vanity Under The Sun, But Hope in God, Jensen's Survey of The Old Testament pg 295; "Ecclesiastes is a book that investigates life and tells what kind of life is worth living.  It is the quest of a soul who sees only vanity all about him until his eyes are opened to the hope offered by God. The book has been described as a confession of failure and pessimism when God is excluded."

Sat-2-Ecclesiastes 1:1-3:22; How did you separate the works of God from the works of man? How does Proverbs 3: 5-8 relate to these chapters? Where ought man to get his wisdom? How does 3:17 impact your concept of God? 2Corinthians 6:1-13; How ought a minister of reconciliation to act? Psalm 46: 1-11; What fact(s) did you learn about God? Proverbs 22:15; How does God deal with foolishness?

Sun- 3- Ecclesiastes 4:1-6:12; Why do some men have no comforter? How ought men to act in Beth-El/church? What promise did you gain today? What conditions are connected to the promise? 2Corinthians 6:14-7:7; What standard of conduct is given for believers? How do you comply with the 7:1? Why does God send tribulation(s)? Psalm 47: 1-9; How do you see Jericho in this Psalm? Proverbs 22:16; So what?
