Wednesday, January 29, 2020

I hope your Wednesday, 29 January, is going well and you have enjoyed reading the Bible to know God. Thanks for being one of those that is known as a reader of The Word of God, a Book Lover.

As we read today Exodus 8:1-9:35, it was exciting following the conflict between Moses and Pharaoh while The LORD dictated what to say and to do because we believe that God created everything as recorded in Genesis and is now demonstrating His Omnipotence, power, overall circumstances.

Reading Exodus 8:18-19 records the magicians wonder that lice were being created by "the finger of God". Stop and consider the wonder of The LORD. The confession of Pharaoh at 9:27is true and real, but without remorse. O that all men would admit their SIN. The sin of UNBELIEF is unto death.

As we read the record of Jesus leading his disciples we are better able to understand our present-day responsibility. If you are a born again son of God that has been forgiven of ALL your sins and have received the free gift of salvation, act like it, be perfect. Humility as a little child stresses humility and not age. What do you treasure most?

Who then can be saved? What have you forsaken to follow and serve God? There is a difference between faith and foreskin for the Hebrew. If one believes that family genealogy is sufficient for eternal life and forgiveness of all sins, why did Almighty God sacrifice his only begotten Son at Calvary? Why was Genesis 3:15 declared? Why is Exodus 6 the record of why God Almighty wanted him by his name Jehovah? John 3 makes this plain, and you must be born again.

Faith is reading or hearing God's Word, known as the gospel. When you believe your sinfulness is against God and worthy of eternal death so that you confess your need for salvation, this is repentance. God offers you the gift of eternal life and it is up to you receive it. God, The father, provides redemption by reconciling you to Himself by the life, death, burial, resurrection of His Son from the grave according to the Scriptures. Jesus paid yours and my sin debt.

Read John 1:1-14 and trust God.

Tuesday, January 28, 2020

Hello and happy days to you all that love to read The Book.

It has been a few extra days, but Tuesday 28 January 2020 is a good day to catch up and be challenged. Hopefully, you are excited about God and His promises. Please use the One Year Bible at the blog site to read every day to know God.

We have finished reading Genesis the first of the five books of the Law. We consider Genesis to be the beginning of everything.  Genesis is the foundation for our concept of The LORD. The creation, origin of man, sin, and the understanding of forgiveness is made plain. The key to God's work is through the Hebrew people, and covenants are given to protect the obedient believer.
Everything we believe is tied to Almighty God as recorded for us in Genesis how man created in God's image. Even though  Satan deceived Eve and Adam to sin and the promise of a Saviour was given at chapter 3:15. We have followed the creation of man, the fall of man, the restoration of man, and the life of a man and his family living by faith and obedience to what thus saith the LORD.

I challenge you to read and meditate on the book of Exodus chapter 6:1-8. We have been exposed to several names of God so far in our reading and these verses make plain and distinct who God is and what His provisions are for his people. This defines the concept of believers telling unbelievers about redemption and restoration, the heartbeat of God. God hates sin.
God loves sinners. Do not forget what you read 4 January 2020, where Jesus said in Matthew 4:17, "From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand."

What have you learned about  God the Father, the Son, Holy Spirit and yourself by reading chapters 1-19 of Matthew? we are 1/12th through the year and we are blessed to have a Bible to read. Read on purpose to see and hear what thus saith The Spirit. Seek to learn the names and attributes of God. After you read, stop, meditate and ask for clarity, understanding, knowledge as you seek WISDOM.

Suggest you take extra time and read the three Psalms: 22, 23 & 24 as one Psalm. Pause and reflect on the past, present, and future of the life of The Lord Jesus Christ, your own life and the life of your family.

As you read the Proverbs note the action words as they relate to a person’s life. As you read proverbs 5:22-23 allow the truths that are written be applied to your life. Read James 4:17.

Thursday, January 23, 2020

This is Thursday 23 January, 2020. Welcome to our blog all of you who love to read The Book. Welcome and congratulation for taking the best time, early in the day and meet with God.

I’ve chosen Psalm 19 to show how the Most high God whose name is Jehovah wants all men everywhere to see Him. Soon we will be reading in Exodus chapter 6 where clarity is given as to the motive of God’s revelation in Psalm 19. Takes notes as you read the names of The Lord GOD, God Almighty and Jehovah.

1 (To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.) The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2 Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong man to run a race.
6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.
13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O
LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

I encourage you to strive to get to an Eastern exposure and as the sun begins to rise early in your time zone, read Palm 19. As you wait for the sun, confess your sins as you pray to get right with the Creator of life. You want to be in the presence of God and Be right.  As you read allow The Holy Spirit to cause you to Know His will by His Word. Put your faith into action today and Do right. Don’t quit.

Wednesday, January 22, 2020

Good day to all of you that love The Book. Hopefully you have read today, 23 January 2020, and have enjoyed meeting with God.

We take time to GET right as we confess our sins when we pray.  We read the Bible to KNOW  the way and the will of The LORD . Now we are led by The Holy Spirit to DO right what we have read to give honor and glory to our heavenly Father. Our joy is enjoying the grace of the most high God whose name is Jehovah by the presence of The Lord Jesus Christ, as He leads us to do right. AND we do not quit.

Take a Bible break and read the 23rd Psalm to increase your understanding of your privilege to be protected by GOD as you walk in your valley of the shadow of death. This is a promise made to believers. Read Proverbs 4:11-13 and strive to gain wisdom.

As we read our One Year Bible today I was impressed to read again the conversation of Joseph with Judah in Genesis 44:14-34. We know by genealogy that the linage of Jesus in in the tribe f Judah. We are afforded in these Old Testament records types of God as a Father and as The Son.  We learn the  attributes of God as they are displayed by men's deeds and also their sins.

Names and genealogy are worth learning because every man born of water will give account of the deeds, thoughts and intent of the heart to The Judge, God Almighty. Some will have their sins forgiven and some will not. John 3:36 "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

Reading Genesis 45:28 you see a name change where Jacob in verse 44 is Jacob yet if the following verse he is called Israeal. We see that this refers to the impact of Jacob's encounter with God at Peniel in Genesis 32:28. Get understanding seek wisdom. Read your Bible to see that He hates sin BUT loves sinners. If you are a born again believer God has a new name for you.

Thanks for reading your Bible. I pray you are using the One Year Bible at the blog to be current. Take time to meditate on the gems of Truth in Proverbs chapter 4. We will start adding some of the 700 names God being used to give you his attributes and traits. You can find several used today. God bless you as you seek understanding and then apply chapter 3:5-10. Amen, Maranatha and God speed.
