Good day to all of you that love The Book. Hopefully you have read today, 23 January 2020, and have enjoyed meeting with God. 

We take time to GET right as we confess our sins when we pray.  We read the Bible to KNOW  the way and the will of The LORD . Now we are led by The Holy Spirit to DO right what we have read to give honor and glory to our heavenly Father. Our joy is enjoying the grace of the most high God whose name is Jehovah by the presence of The Lord Jesus Christ, as He leads us to do right. AND we do not quit. 

Take a Bible break and read the 23rd Psalm to increase your understanding of your privilege to be protected by GOD as you walk in your valley of the shadow of death. This is a promise made to believers. Read Proverbs 4:11-13 and strive to gain wisdom.

As we read our One Year Bible today I was impressed to read again the conversation of Joseph with Judah in Genesis 44:14-34. We know by genealogy that the linage of Jesus in in the tribe f Judah. We are afforded in these Old Testament records types of God as a Father and as The Son.  We learn the  attributes of God as they are displayed by men's deeds and also their sins. 

Names and genealogy are worth learning because every man born of water will give account of the deeds, thoughts and intent of the heart to The Judge, God Almighty. Some will have their sins forgiven and some will not. John 3:36 "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him."

Reading Genesis 45:28 you see a name change where Jacob in verse 44 is Jacob yet if the following verse he is called Israeal. We see that this refers to the impact of Jacob's encounter with God at Peniel in Genesis 32:28. Get understanding seek wisdom. Read your Bible to see that He hates sin BUT loves sinners. If you are a born again believer God has a new name for you.
