31 Jan 09 WOW! What a great reading today. I hope you are impressed with the God of the Bible that did all the great things for the Hebrews bringing them out of bondage. Hope you are joyful to see the relationship of the "passover" with the Abraham/Isaac record (Gen 22) and the Gospel account of Jesus entering Jerusalem being hailed as Hosanna in the highest, the son of David and the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee. As we read and notice the names, titles and traits of GOD, LORD, God and Lord let us be impressed with Him and not be only caught up with His acts. Let us notice the commandments given in the Old Testament and seek to see the application to us in the "church age" in the instructions given by Jesus. The assumption is that the writers of the New Testament believed the readers knew and understood the Old. Today it was easy to read the Exodus and Matthew record and see the blend and transition of the Word of God. A good thought for today is "How much faith do you have in The God of The Bible?" Can you move trees or mountains? Let us seek to learn how to pray. It is important to know the difference between a relationship with GOD and fellowsip with The Lord. Selah. pj
