Sunday 16 February 2014. Hope you have a King James Version of The Holy Bible so that you may read to know God. Hope you have a Bible in your own language so that you may read to know God. Lesson # 8 for the study group reading this year the One Year Bible prepared 16 Feb 2014 .

As you read each day strive to seek Him early and be impressed by His handiwork. Expect to be awed of God and His majesty. Expect God to show Himself in the scriptures such as Psalm 19 that we might know Him. Read John 3:12 and apply the admonition.

So far we have seen Genesis as the Book of Beginnings, Exodus as the Book of Redemption now we have Leviticus telling us “Ye shall be Holy”. Matthew painted for us a portrait of Jesus as the Coming King. Mark will show us Jesus as the obedient servant. PLEASE READ the Bible first to know Him, then consider the questions.
Reading for this week:
Sun 16 Feb Leviticus1:1-3:17, Mark 1:29-2:12, Psalm 35:17-28, Proverbs 9:13-18. See how The LORD provided the means and manners to follow for the children to confess their sins and also how to have fellowship with God. Take time to be grateful for what Jesus has done for the world and us the believers so that we may get right and be right with God. Appreciate Psalm 35:24. Pray not to be a foolish woman nor be deceived by one.

Mon 17 Feb Leviticus 4:1-5:19, Mark 2:13-3:6, Psalm36:1-12, Proverbs 10:1-2. Consider the mercy and grace that God extends to His children just by saying “if”. Appreciate the intercession of The Lord Jesus Christ for us today. What attribute did you learn from Mark’s record today? What Truth did you gain from Psalm 36? Are you wise?
Tue 18 Feb Leviticus 6:1-7:27,Mark 3:7-30, Psalm 37:1-11,Proverbs 10:3-4. What did you learn about God because of the commandment to keep the altar fires burning? We ought to check our motives in our offerings. When did you learn Mark 3:11 for yourself? Note the verbs in Psalm 37 that dictate your life style. Yea for the Proverb’s promise.
Wed 19 Feb Leviticus7:28-9:6, Mark3:31-4:25 Psalm 37:12-28, Proverbs 10:5. We all need to “get right” and we also need to “be right” so that 9:6 comes to pass. How has the parable of the sower impacted your life style? We need to hear and to heed what has been said by Jesus. How do you apply stewardship principals in your family?
Thu 20 Feb leviticus9:7-10:20, Mark4:26-5:20, Psalm 37:29-40, Proverbs 10:6-7. What did learn about offerings in chapter 10? How do you determine what is holy or unholy? Does GOD expect us to obey? Consider Mark 4:36 and appreciate how this truth has impacted your life. Are you compliant to the instructions given by Jesus to the healed demoniac man in Mark5:19? What promise did you see in the Psalm today/?
Fri 21 Feb Leviticus11:1-12:8, Mark5:21-43, Psalm 38:1-22, Proverbs 10:8-9. Would it not be good for us today if we followed God’s diet plan for proteins? How do you comply with 11:45? Carefully consider how Jesus dealt with Jairus and his disappointment about the timing of his miracle. Be patient and allow God to bless His people. Where do you go and whom do you seek when everything seems to fail?  A. Psalm 38:22.

Sat 22 Feb Leviticus 13:1-59, Mark6:1-29, Psalm 39:1-13, Proverbs 10:10. Hygiene is important. Are you amazed at the Truths you have learned because you have read The Bible to know God? We ought to operate in God’s grace as we share the gospel.  We may share the same type of humiliation that Herod did to John if we are true to our calling. How is your faith? Encourage yourself in Psalm 39:4. Consider Psalm 1 again.
