2nd   Lesson       One Year “365” Bible Class                VBC                                 25 January  2015
Class will be January 25, 9:45-10:45AM in class room--TBD---. Bring your One Year Bible.  We will discuss class goals and concepts of reading the Bible to know God.  Reading for the month of January: Genesis 1:1- Exodus 12:14; Matthew 1:1-21:22; Psalm 1:1 -25:22 and Proverbs 1:1- 6:15. Check web page BarnabasImpactMinistry.com. for daily reading schedule.  Memory verse for 2015 is Psalm 5. January’s is verse: 1 “Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.”
SUGGESTION: Strive to “discipline yourself” to seek God first. For example look early each morning to the East and then read or say Psalm 19. Read your scriptures daily. Consider John 3:12 and James 4:17. We read our Bible to know God.  If you miss a day stay current and don’t feel guilty and try to catch up.
After reading walk according to Amos 3:3, expect the Rapture / Maranatha.  Enjoy God’s blessings and strive to be in harmony with II Corinthians 13:14 and Micah 6:8. Be right, do right and don’t quit.
As a soldier know the Principles of WarThe Objective”.  "Direct all efforts toward a decisive, obtainable goal." The proper objective ("purpose") in battle is the destruction of the enemy's combat forces. To do this, however, subordinate commanders must be given "terrain objectives" toward which they move. ?
