Monday 5 January 2015, Hope you are reading the Bible to know God. We pray that you will sense the wooing of The Holy Ghost to follow The lord Jesus Christ.
1st Lesson       One Year “ ‘365” Bible Class  VBC   January   2015.  **First class will be January 18 9:45-10:45AM in class room-to be announced-. Bring your One Year Bible.  We will discuss class goals and concepts of reading the Bible to know God.  A  lesson will be prepared for each month in the following format.
Reading for the month of January:  Genesis 1:1- Exodus 12:14;  Matthew 1:1-21:22; Psalm 1:1 -25:22 and Proverbs 1:1- 6:15.   Check daily reading schedule at BarnabasImpactMinistry.com.

Memory verse for January, Psalm 5:1 “Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.”

SUGGESTION: Strive to “discipline yourself” to seek God first. For example look early each morning to the East and then read or say Psalm 19. Read your scriptures daily. Consider John 3:12 and James 4:17. We read our Bible to know God.
If you miss a day stay current and don’t feel guilty and try to catch up. After reading walk according to Amos 3:3, expect the Rapture / Maranatha.  Enjoy God’s blessings and strive to be in harmony with II Corinthians 13:14 and Micah 6:8. Be right, do right and don’t quit.

As a soldier know the Principles of War:  The Objective, Simplicity, Unity of Command, The Offensive, Maneuver, Mass, Economy of Force, Surprise and Security.  Know the Commander’s intent.   Definition of  The Objective”.  "Direct all efforts to ward a decisive, obtainable goal." The proper objective ("purpose") in battle is the destruction of the enemy's combat forces. To do this, however, subordinate commanders must be given "terrain objectives" toward which they move.

To instruct or educate; to inform the mind; to prepare by instructing in the correct principles and habits   for future usefulness.  We do this on purpose to know God.
Develop or update your  concept of God: Who He is, what He loves, what He hates, what are His plans, how do I please and obey God, How may I talk with Him, how does He teach and direct my daily activities,
