Saturday 10 January 2015 and we are here to bring glory to God. Hope that you are reading your Bible to know God. If you do not have the One Year Bible you may use your Bible and follow the reading schedule provided at the BarnabasImpactMinistry.com web page. If you reading the One Year for the first time, CONGRATS,and if you have any questions about "how to" check the reading reference at the web page.

It has been said that if we understand the reading allotted January 1-10 we will have been exposed to more than 85% of the doctrines in the Bible. Take time to meditate on what you have read in the Old Testament and recall how God has shown Himself. Note His names, traits and attributes. Enjoy reading about how God deals with His creation, but look for the Maker and not what is made.

Enjoy the history and life of the Lord Jesus. Recall how He has become your life and see the potential of being obedient in all matters with confidence. After reading the Psalms take time to make the words written your words of praise back to God. Trust the Proverbs to warn and advise you to take actions for your good. Consider all you have read so far this year and allow Proverbs 3:1-6 be your template for obedience.

Read to know God. See the words, accept them to be true, hear, heed and obey what is made known to you. Faith is believing God. Works are the acts believers do because they have been made sons of God. Consider the sermon on the mount, Matthew 5:1-7:28, to be a clear presentation of the way of life for the child of The King. Jesus spoke the truth, lived the truth, sat the example for all men, and expects all believers to be and do the same.

No man can be saved except he hear the Truth of God according to the scriptures presented by an agent sent from God and then The Holy Ghost cause God The Father to draw that man to belief that Jesus is the way the truth and the life.  The Bible is God's Truth. Read your Bible to know Him.
