Sunday 31 December 2017, hopefully you have read your One Year Bible cover to cover, Genesis through Revelations, to know God. Of all the near 8000 page hits since inception of this blog hopefully you are one of those that believed God and received His eternal gift of salvation.
I hope you will discipline yourself to read the One Year Bible in 2018. The on-line Bible is available if you do not have a Bible. Meet God early each day to be refreshed in His Truth, have your sins forgiven, receive instructions for each day, enjoy His mercy and walk in His grace for His glory. I guarantee you that as you by faith OBEY God's Word your joy will be full.
We will not have our 365 class at our church this year so there will be no lessons to follow. I plan to write each week some of my observations that I gain because I have read my Bible. I started reading my One Year Bible in 1996 and have been blessed to read it every day since. My wife and I started reading TOGETHER when we move to Texas Jan 2000 and by God's grace read this morning finishing 2017.
Each of us can do what we want to do. Each of us will be drawn to obey the Holy Spirit--IF we are sons of God. The LORD of hosts, The Lord Jesus Christ and The Holy Spirit agree and they are always in agreement with the written Word as recorded in the King James Version of The Holy Bible.
My sincerest desire is that all of you come to the sure knowledge of salvation, redemption, forgiveness of ALL sins, born again into the family of God. You can read my testimony in the blog of how God used people to share the gospel with me in 1977.
Read John 1:1-14, SELAH, read John 3:1-36, and admit to God your revealed condition before The thrice HOLY God. Look at Ephesians 2:8-10 and the II Corinthians 5:17-21 and admit to yourself that you are lost or saved. If lost, cry out unto The LORD of Lords, confess your are lost and that you want God to save you by the shed blood of The Lord Jesus, taking your sins away and giving to you the righteousness of Jesus Christ, a free gift because you believe and have by faith asked for forgiveness. Re-look/read John 1:12 GOD loves you Please let me know if and when you get saved.

Here w are Wednesday 13 December 2017 waiting for the shout and command to come up to be with the Lord Jesus Christ. It will be a SIGHT to see the graves open and those that are asleep in Jesus come up and out of the grave to be with Him in the air. Maranatha! Where will you be a 1 minuet later - a day - 100 years from the rapture? Hebrews 9:27. James 4:17. John 3;12. John 3:16, 36. You are either in/on the Lord Jesus Christ or off/out of the will of God and separated for ever from GOD.
This is the last lesson for the 2017 for our Sunday School Class at Victory Baptist Church, Weatherford, Texas. We started reading the One Year Bible 1 January and have read each day to know God. Hopefully you have been reading the on-line Bible also to know God.
I PLAN TO CONTINUE TO READ THROUGH MY ONE YEAR BIBLE - WILL YOU MAKE A COMMITMENT TO READ EVEY DAY IN 2018?
I hope you all from Australia, Belarus, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, China, Egypt, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, India, Israel, Latvia, Malaysia, Netherlands, Panama, Philippians, Poland, Romania, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Turks and Caicos Islands,Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, USA, Venezuela, Vietnam, will make this your page of joy and hope.
Merry Christmas, Happy New Year. May God get your attention to the eternal point of The HOLY SPIRIT drawing you to The Father in the name of the only begotten Son, Jesus so that you will hear and believe the gospel, Jesus saves, you are a sinner and you must be born again. Please read John 3:1-36.

Lesson # 51 One Year 365 Bible Class (read 11-17 Dec) VBC 17
December 2017
This will be our last class together for 2017. I pray you
remember our goals we started with 1 January. You said you would “strive” to
read your Bible every day of the year, you would write out your salvation
testimony and practice writing your prayers using God’s proper names, titles
attributes and traits. Get it done,
Psalm 119:165.
You are now better prepared to serve in our church because you have “disciplined “ yourself to
read, and to hear and obey the LORD’s Word, ways, commandments, statues, precepts,
law, testimonies, righteous judgments and sayings. If you are not right with
God (James 4:17), get right, then be right, know right, do right and don’t
quit.
You need to complete reading the last of the Old
Testament Prophets letters, Psalms, Proverbs and the Revelation of The Lord
Jesus Christ. Continue to look for God’s attributes, his names, promises that
are applicable for you today, admonitions to avoid sin (s) and the path made
plain as per John 3:12. Consider Amos 3:3 and 5:4-8.
Hopefully you gained an appreciation for obedience as you
read Jonah. Perhaps you have decided that even when you are overtaken by a
fault, caught and chastised, that you will “yet look again toward thy holy
temple” Jonah 2:4b. Revelation 5 makes plain “who is worthy to open the book
and to lose the seals thereof” so that we may say Amen. Psalm 133 provides
encouragement to keep on being thankful and grateful.
As you read Micah on 15 December you were reminded of
God’s holiness and the sinfulness of all men. Every man has the choice to make
and that is to either follow The LORD or a god of their own imagination. The
man that sat on the white horse in Revelation 6 was not the Lord Jesus Christ.
Blessed are those who will believe the gospel and “we” will wear white robes.
Look at Micah 5 for the prophecy of the birthplace of
ruler in Israel. Make Micah 6:8 a pattern for the rest of your life. Look
forward to that Day when God will bring you forth to the light so that you may
behold his righteousness. Rejoice as you read Revelation 7 knowing where you
will be when this grand event will take place. Take time to read Psalm 135,
Selah, and then bless the LORD. Believe that every word of God is pure.
Nahum is the history of Nineveh. Pay attention to God’s
warnings not heeded and allow this to temper your obedience to His Commands.
How is your “fear of God” impacted because you have read today? Woe, woe, woe is pending those of unbelief.
Be persuaded to win the lost at any cost. Read and re-read Psalm 136, then give
thanks. **Take time to make Proverbs 30:7-9 as your stewardship guide /
checkbook verse.
Habakkuk is applicable today if one is concerned for his
nation. How do you pray for your people? There is hope for us when we hear,
believe and obey God and then be just and live by faith. Pray verse 3:1-2 with
tears and righteous hope. Read and believe 3:17-19 and live like you are a son
of God. Allow Revelation 9 to impress you with the deceitfulness of sin and the
stronghold Satan has on unbelievers, yet it is the LORD who opens and closes
the bottomless pit. What song are you singing today?
Zephaniah records that God will and has judged all men,
judged all families and all nations, then read 1:14-18. Look carefully at 2:3
before you read 3:5-8. Now rejoice by reading 3:9-20 and be thankful for God’s
mercy and provisions. Our work as ministers of reconciliation is not over, so
be busy about our Father’s business. Appreciate Psalm 138:2b as you read the
Word to know God. Consider the “promise” at verse 8 when you are overcome and
in doubt.
Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi are the prophets God
provided to the Jews as they returned to Jerusalem after their 70 years of
captivity. All men are warned to “consider your ways” when establishing
priorities for daily life. Is the LORD preeminent in your life? Revelation 11
shows the activities of the two witnesses that are to occur in the midst of the
seven years of the tribulation what attributes of God did you see today? God is
shown to be Omniscient in Psalm 139 and believers will call for the LORD to
make verses 23-24 real and true each day. Read your Bible to know God.
Thanks for sharing your time with us this year in our
class. We pray that you have been blessed as you made the LORD your Lord each
day because you read your Bible to know Him. We pray as you return to your
regular class Sunday 7 January 2018 that you will be fruitful and participate
by encouraging others to read their Bible to know GodI PLAN TO CONTINUE TO READ THROUGH MY ONE YEAR BIBLE - WILL YOU MAKE A COMMITMENT TO READ EVEY DAY IN 2018?
Tuesday, December 5, 2017
Yea for Tuesday 5 December 2017. This could be the day that the graves will be opened and the dead/asleep in Jesus will be resurrected and THEN we who have been redeemed will be called up in the air with them and we will be with the Lord Jesus Christ forever. O what a DAY! Are you prepared to meet God today? There are two kinds of people either saved (saint) of lost (ain't- unbelievers). Please read the Bible to know God. Read the on-line Bible at the blog each day before you consider the lesson comments. I hope you are my brother, a believer, born again, redeemed and on your way to heaven, forgiven in the hand of Almighty God child of The King of kings.
If you will read my testimony at the blog site and follow the scriptures you will know God's Word, will and way of salvation for yourself. I sincerely pray for your salvation.

Congrats! We are near the end of 2017.
Mon 4 Daniel 11:35-12:13;1st John
4:1-21;Psalm 123:1-4; Proverbs 29:2-4;How does God's description of Satan help
you in facing adversity? What did Daniel learn about the time of tribulation? How
do you apply the instruction given in John 4? Did the Psalm make you feel
guilty? Is the proverb applicable today?
As we read
Hosea, know that he was first of the 12 Minor Prophets and he was a prophet
unto the Northern kingdom following Elijah, Elisha, Jonah and Amos. We will
read about Israel's' idolatry, wickedness, captivity and the future
restoration. God hates sin but loves sinners. How did God use Hosea's family
life to show Israel's sin?
Tue 5 Hosea 1:1-3:5;1st John 5:1-21; Psalm
124:1-8;Proverbs 29:5-8;Is it always easy to obey God? How is this similar to the

security at v11? How do you praise God because of Psalm 124:8? Why do you sing
after reading the proverb?

God judge Israel in chapter 12? How is Jehovah shown in chapter 13? Why did
Jude want his people to earnestly contend for the faith? Do you believe Psalm
127? Do you enjoy rest and peace in your soul?
The Minor
Prophets were designated minor due to the length of the writings. Look to see
how the Gentiles are included with the Jews. Look for the Gospel to be
presented. Be aware of the signs indicating David's rule, repentance offered to
a sinful nation, and announcements of the birth of Jesus. When you read the Revelation of Jesus Christ
focus on Him and not just His. Practice praying back the Psalms and Proverbs.
Sat 9 Joel
1:1-3:21; Revelation 1:1-20; Psalm 128:1-6; Proverbs 29:18; How does v15 cause

Lesson # 48 One
Year 365 Bible Class (read 20-26
Nov) VBC 26 November 2017
Mon-20-Ezekiel 40:28-41:26, James 4:1-17, Psalm
118:19-29 & Proverbs 28:3-5. One day the temple in Jerusalem will be
rebuilt and then destroyed again by man. One day the temple will be rebuilt and
the LORD will be there. One day and for a thousand years! Read and learn to
pray. Is your heart purified? Allow James 4:17 to direct your life. Give thanks
Tue-21-Ezekiel 42:1-43:27, James 5:1-20, Psalm 119:1-16 &
Proverbs 28:6-7. One Day the glory of the LORD God will enter Jerusalem! One
Day the prophecies will be fulfilled just as they were spoken to Ezekiel. Learn
what the Lord Sabaoth means to believers. Believe the effectual prayers
availeth much when the conditions for praying are met. Learn and enjoy the
words used by God to describe God's promises for hearers and believers.
Wed-22-Ezekiel 44:1-45:12, 1st Peter 1:1-12, Psalm
119:17-32 & Proverbs 28:8-10. Receive Ezekiel 44:5 as if were spoken
directly to you and seek to know God. As you read learn the difference between
the holy and the profane. Jerusalem and the associated land belong to the Jews
as it was promised to Moses and the seed of Abraham. Peter is inspired to pen
his letter to the scattered Jews causing them to remember what the LORD had
done for them and what He had promised. Believe God in spite of circumstances.
We all need to consider Psalm 119:17-19 in the good and bad times. Be careful
in your conversation every day.
When you start a new Book or a Prophet's letter ask to whom is this
written, what did it require of them, if and or how does this apply to me
today, what attributes of God are plain, is there a sin to avoid or a promise
to claim. Read your Bible to know God. Get right so that you may enter into the
throne room of God.
According to the Prophets; Isaiah stressed the Glorious
Throne of Jehovah the Holy One; Jeremiah focused on the Book of Judgment and
the Mourning over Afflictions in Lamentations, while Ezekiel recorded The Glory
of the Lord so that “They shall know
that I Am the LORD. We will find in Daniel That God rules the world.
Thu-23-Ezekiel 45:13-46:24, 1st Peter 1:13
-2:10, Psalm 119:33-48 & Proverbs 28:11.Look for the attributes of God and
apply them to the stewardship in your family. Accept and practice God's call
for holiness. Compare the synonyms in Psalm 119 that describe the Word.
Fri-24-Ezekiel 47:1-48:35,1st Peter 2:11-3:7,
Psalm 119:49-64 & Proverbs 28:12-13. The land that the LORD promised to the
Jews in the beginning is described and measured. Attend to the admonition of
Peter concerning those things we should abstain from in our lives. We are to be
examples of God's love. Have you said Psalm 119:54-60 back to God?
According to Jensen's Survey of the Old Testament, p379,
Daniel is an apocalyptic book, the only Old Testament book so classified '5.
Revelation is the one New Testament Apocalypse '6. The word apocalypse in its
Greek form is translated as “revelation” in Revelation1:1. Apocalypse is a
revelation, an unveiling. Those purposes concern particularly world events
leading up to the Messianic Kingdom and consummation of things in the end of
the world. The manner in which these events are unveiled is mainly by visions,
where imagery and symbolism appear throughout. In Daniel the word “vision”
appears twenty-two times; and “visions,” ten times. Consider the key verse to
be 4:17 and “dream” as a key word.
Sat-25-Daniel 1:1-2:23, 1st Peter 3:8-4:6,
Psalm 119:65-80 & Proverbs 28:14. What example of faith did Daniel say and live out before
his captors and his family? How did the LORD show his approval of Daniel? Did
you compare Daniel's testimony to Peter's instruction to the Jews as given in
chapter 3? Are you happy?
Sun-26-Daniel 2:24-3:30. 1st Peter 4:7-5:14,
Psalm 119:81-96 & Proverbs 28:15-16. What attributes of God did Daniel
express to the King concerning his dream? What faith principle did the three
Hebrews demonstrate by not bowing to the image? How is 1st Peter 4:7
similar to what was facing the Jews before the
burning fiery furnace? What is unusual about Psalm 119:90-91?How may a
man prolong his days?
Tuesday, November 14, 2017
Tuesday 14 November 2017 and I have been in several days of medical and dental events and have fallen behind, please forgive me. Today is the best day I've had since 6 Nov. Hopefully my absence has not hindered you in your pursuit of knowledge of God by reading YOUR BIBLE EVERY DAY TO KNOW HIM. I have posted the reading and lessons for you up to Sunday 19 November. Again I strongly urge you to read the Bible reading every day before striving with the lessons.
The WHOLE purpose of this blog is to challenge you to a disciplined life of reading to know God. The result desired is that you see yourself undone before the thrice holy God, you confess your sin of unbelief, repent from self unto God, see the provision of salvation in Jesus Christ as Lord and ask for God's favor in salvation. II Corinthians 5:17-21, John 1:1-12, 3:1-36 and Ephesians 2:8-10. Thank you for hearing this warning for each of us will be with God 100 years from NOW or you will be in hell away from God for ever.

Wednesday 1 November 2017. There are only 2 months remaining in this year and you have rejected the gift of forgiveness from Almighty God for the last 10 months. O that you might realize that you are appointed for death and separation from light, glory, peace and eternal life with GOD. You must be born again according to the scriptures.
Read John 3:1-36. You do not have a guarantee that you will live until 23:59:59 December 31. This is the day for salvation. My wife and I were born again 30 October 1977. Look at my personal testimony in the blog and read the scriptures that the Lord Jesus Christ caused men to use/share with me about sin and salvation. These verses will show you the way to eternal life if you read, believe and the Holy Spirit points you to God The Father so that you may be reconciled to God The Father through Jesus Christ The Son -->> II Corinthians 5:17-21.
Read the Daily Bible readings FIRST then consider the comments given by the lesson.

FACT: What God did for Saul of Tarsus He has done for
every believer. Saul sold out unto his
SAVIOUR. How is the stewardship of your
talents? Paul was imprisoned A.D.58-62. He penned the four
prison epistles and was released 62-66. He visited some churches and then pens
1Timothy and Titus. He was imprisoned again in 67 and wrote his farewell in
2Timothy emphasizing endurance and separation in the Ministry (4:2).
Titus, a
gentile convert, travelled with Paul and Barnabas and served at Corinth, Crete
and Dalmatia. In his ministry he was to makes much of Adorning the Doctrine of
God (3:8). By reading we learn how to be and see an orderly Church (1:5); How
to recognize a sound Church (2:1) and how to be in and a part of a practicing Church
(3:1).
Philemon,
Concerning a Runaway Slave, page 645 Halley's Bible Handbook; "The Object
of the letter was to intercede with Philemon to forgive the runaway slave, and
receive him as a Christian brother, Paul himself offering to repay the stolen
money. The Letter is a perfect gem for
its Courtesy, Tact, Delicacy and Generosity, climaxing with its tender appeal
to Philemon to receive Onesimus "as you would receive me"(17).
Hebrews,
notes taken from What the Bible is all About, The Living Bible Edition, by
Henrietta C. Mears; Chapter 46, page 505; Understanding Hebrews; Hebrews
portrays Jesus Christ, Our Intercessor at The Throne "The author of the
letter to the Hebrews is unknown. Many speculate, but there is no certainty.
Hebrews is attributed to Paul, and although many question his authorship, there
is abundance of evidence in his favor.
The book has been called the fifth Gospel. The four describe Christ's
ministry on earth; this one describes his ministry in heaven at God's right
hand. The glories or our Saviour are
exhibited in this letter. Our eye is fixed on Jesus, our leader and instructor (12:2). He is set before us crowned now by God with glory and honor
(2:9). This book was written, first of all, to Jewish Christians, probably of
Jerusalem, who were wavering in their faith. Because of the taunts and jeers of
their persecutors, the Jewish Christians were beginning to think they had lost
everything--by accepting Christianity. The writer proved that they had only
lost the shadow to be given the substance (Jesus Christ). They were
undervaluing their privileges in Christ and engaging in self-pity and
discouragement and they were in danger
of even giving up their faith (5:11)
Copied
from Jensen's Survey of The Old Testament; Lamentations:
Mourning over Affliction. Chapter 22, page 351, “The fall of Jerusalem in 586
B.C. is the historical event common to the books of Jeremiah and
Lamentations. Jeremiah prophesies and
anticipates the fall, and lamentations looks back at the holocaust utter
distress." Book of Jeremiah/Warning>Fall of Jerusalem 586 B.C. "Knowing
from his prophecies how Jeremiah wept over his people before judgment fell, it
is not difficult for us to imagine the depths to which his soul sank in utter
grief as he watched the holy city burning and his people being ravished. Lamentations reveals something of the pathos
of that experience."
Jensen's
Survey of The Old Testament at page 362, a part of chapter 23 Ezekiel: The Glory of the Lord. D. in Exile “When Ezekiel was about eighteen
years old (605 B.C.), the Babylonians (also known as Chaldeans) made their
first invasion into Judea, carrying away some captives, among whom was Daniel (see
Map). Eight years later (597B.C.) they came again, and this time Ezekiel was
among the captives, which comprised the upper classes of Judah. Read 2Kings 24:10-17 for the historical
record of this (cf, Ezekiel 12; 33:21).
Some of the exiles were incarcerated; others were made slaves; many were
allowed to settle down in their own homes in various settlements of exiles ( cf,
Jer 29:1-7); Ezra 2:59; Neh 7:61). It
was divine providence that Ezekiel was among those granted such liberties. His home was in Tel-abib(Ezek 3:15), a
principal colony of exiles near the fabulous city of Babylon. Tel-abib was located by the canal Chebar
("Grand Canal") which flowed from the Euphrates fork above Babylon
through Nippur, winding back into the Euphrates near Erech.2 (CF !:1,3; Psalm
137:1). Ezekiel's home was a meeting place where the Jewish elders often came
to consult with him (8:1,14:1;20:1). It may be that his home was open to any of
the exiles who wanted spiritual help."Page 2

death agony of a nation"; a pathetic , lonely figure, God's last measure
to the Holy City which had become hopelessly and fanatically attached to Idols;
carelessly crying that if they would repent God would save them from Babylon. Thus, as Assyria had been the background of
Isaiah's ministry, so Babylon was the background of Jeremiah's ministry."

**** Christ first coming to earth was a crucial event in
the world history; His second coming will be a climatic event. He came the
first time to die and be raised to life.
When He comes again, it will be to gather to Himself those saved by His
death. Paul sums up all the joys and
glories of this ingathering by saying simply, "And thus shall we be with
the Lord (1Thess.4:17). It had to be a
thrilling experience for the apostle to write the Thessalonians letters' and
share such a message. 1Thessalonians:
The Lord Jesus is coming again.
2Thessalonians: He has not come yet.

written by Henrietta C. Mears called, What the Bible is All About, The Living
Bible Edition, 1987, chapter 38, pg443, Understanding Philippians, Philippians Portrays Jesus Christ, Our
Joy. "The letter to the
Philippians was written to the first church founded in Europe. Paul was called there by the vision of the
man in Macedonia, Come over here and help
