August 25th, Monday and we are still here. Are there any clouds in the sky?If you had to leave early this AM for work, I pray that The LORD bless you and keep you safe.Put GOD first and expect Him to put you first. Do you say each morning that He is the love of your life? Does He say to you, then act like it you son of GOD. We are accepted in the beloved! Even though things may not be as safe and secure as we would like them to be,GOD is over ALL!Hide His Word in your heart so that you do not sin against Him.Remember those promises of His presence, provisions, care, protection and live in His favor and blessings looking for His hand and heart. He is faithful!

Job 16:1-19:29 allows us to overhear words and thoughts being exchanged between men on earth and men and GOD.How does this impact your concept of The LORD? Try and picture yourself as Job with his physical problems, his emotional traumas and three men evaluating, judging and counselling him, how would you charge GOD? Remember all of this is being recorded in the "books" and will be replayed one day in heaven. We get an opportunity to see how GOD takes part in the every day events of all men. What do you know for sure about GOD? What "convictions" have you decided on? If you were a friend of Job would you have pity on him? Selah.

1st Corinthians 16:1-24 This church is being reminded of their past instructions, admonished to do right in their stewardship and cautioned to be courteous to workers.Do "we"(believers of Parker County-today) have the reputation of being addicted to the ministry of the saints? If not,why not? Pay particular attention to verse22 and put this into your memory bank as a weapon verse against our Enemy. Use the word Maranatha often in your prayers. Make sure you know what it means, look it up and be expecting The Lord to come in the clouds soon, even today. Selah.

Psalm 40:1-10 could easily be related to the story about Job and his experience. How does this Psalm relate to your life? Where were you when The Lord found you and brought you to The LORD? Has the miracle of mercy and grace in salvation changed your whole being? If not,why not? Now, because of this marvellous extraction out of the pit of sin, despair and helplessness, where are you today?Does verse 8 describe your life today? If not,why not? This is a preview of the examination all/each believer will experience in giving an account of their stewardship to Jesus. Amen.

Proverbs 22:1 provokes us to think right. What do you call yourself before GOD. When you call out to The LORD, how do you tell Him who is calling. You do that every day in your phone calls when you identify yourself Hey, this me, may not be enough. pj
