Good afternoon to all of you this beautiful Monday, January 20, 2020.
Hopefully you are reading daily the Bible. This week, 13-19 January, reading Genesis 28:19-41:16, Matthew 9:18- 13:23, Psalms 11:1-17:15 and Proverbs 3:11-3.5.
Those of you who have made page
hits from Argentina, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada,
China, Egypt, France, Finland, Germany, Greece, India, Israel, Latvia,
Malaysia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Poland, Romania,
Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Taiwan, Turks & Caicos Islands,
Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, unknown
region, USA, Venezuela and Vietnam, Thanks.
The purpose of this blog effort is to challenge and encourage believers and unbelievers to read the King James Version of the Holy Bible to know God.
We want to present to you some of the highlights from the daily readings.
We do this by pointing out Truths and promises given by the most high God whose name is Jehovah to His chosen representatives, The Hebrews. These Old Testament scriptures hopefully cause the hearers to trust God and believe that there is hope for restoration.
The New Testament scriptures record the fulfilment of many of the Old Testament prophecies concerning the coming King of Kings and LORD of Lords. The Life of Jesus Christ I recorded in the four Gospels. Here is recorded the promise of salvation and resurrection for those who hear, believe, receive the gift of eternal life.
The way I read my Bible every day is by reading the One year Bible and you may use the Bible on our blog site. I read this Bible, formatted into 365 daily readings, so as to read daily the some Old Testament, New Testament , Psalms and Proverbs. I've sensed the connectivity of the scriptures being persuaded that these were penned by holy men as documented at 2nd Peter 1:16-21.
I recommend that as you read try to separate the circumstances from the Creator. As a you read about Isaac's family and the turmoil of the sons it may become difficult to maintain the impact of the Hand of God and the deceitfulness of the people. What is the difference between Beth-el and El Beth-el? The key to eternity is that of being changed by God as was Jacob at Peniel. We refer to this as being born again as was expressed by Jesus at John 3:16.
Jesus teaches his followers by parables. However he teaches his disciples the meaning of the parable so that they will be prepared to teach Truths to the multitudes. Chapter 13 is a great chapter to meditate on and striving to look for God and not the circumstances.
After reading the Psalms and Proverbs, take time to read again, and the practice praying back what you have read. Psalm 13 is a great prayer to practice. Consider that you are sincerely asking God, The LORD, to hear and bless you with His presence.
Proverbs chapter 3 is full of verses that when memorizes form an arsenal of Truths that last forever. Stop and meditate on verses 3:5-10. ACCEPT THE FACT THAT GOD, THE FATHER, WANTS TO TEACH YOU, HIS SON, TO KNOW HIS WILL.

Good Afternoon, Wednesday, 15 January 2020.
I wanted to encourage you as you read to respond to the scriptures that are considered promise verses.
I've been reading my One Year Bible since 1996. My wife and I mark each day with the year, the weather and our goals or plans for that day. This way before we read we are able to reflect where we were in 2019-2000, 1999-1990, etc.
When we read the Proverbs 3:13-15 for 14 January we are reminded how to be happy. You may apply God's guidelines by seeking and finding wisdom in and from the scriptures. Why do you read your Bible? When we follow God's truths we get understanding. I consider this a promise. Hope you have a great day seeking God in the Bible.
We are forgetful people. It is always good to take time and be specifically grateful for how you have been blessed. There is a promise to those whom hide the word of God in their heart. Start now and journal God's blessing.
If you ask a prayer for your family or friend, write it down. When that request has been offered to The Father in the name of The Son, The Lord Jesus Christ, God promises to hear. Learn how to pray prayers that are Biblically correct.

Sunday January 12, 2020
Welcome & Good afternoon, Sunday, January 12, 2020.
I hope you have enjoyed reading your Bible to know God. I'm sure you noted many of the attributes of God as you read this week. The attributes are in three groups of either Genuine, Great or Good. We consider that the most high God whose name is Jehovah is Great in that He is Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent.

As you read the scriptures you will be able to see that God is True, Holy, Just and Loving as He deals with his children. When you read and ponder how The LORD dealt with Abram, Abraham, and Isaac in giving of the covenant you can determine that he is gracious and merciful. The purpose of the believer, both Old and New Testament, is to challenge unbelievers to trust God for salvation and restoration.

The purpose of the believer, both Old and New Testament, is to challenge unbelievers to trust God for salvation and restoration.
We
also are made aware of the fact that Almighty God hates sin. The Bible
records the lifestyle of believing and unbelieving mankind and makes plain the
wage of sin is death. God is Immutable in that He does not change. He is Just.
I
challenge you to set aside some special time to read again the Sermon on The
Mount starting at Matthew 5. Strive to sense what Jesus is saying to his
disciples then and contemplate how it should impact your lifestyle today.
The timing indicates that Matthew may not have been with the other disciples
because he was called later in chapter 9.
Have
you been called? Are you a disciple of The Lord Jesus Christ? Have you
experienced a personal encounter with God as did the leper and the centurion in
chapter 8? Take note of verse 8:16-17 and determine if your sinful, sick and
infirmed condition needs to be cured by Jesus. Read the promises given today at
Matthew 9:1-17 and choose to receive the gift of eternal life for He knows your
thoughts. Read my personal testimony at the blog site.
This
week you will be reading Genesis 28:1-38:30; Matthew 9:18-13:23; Psalms
11:1-17:15 and Proverbs 3:11-35. The daily readings are posted at the
blog site and you may read from your Bible each day or use the One Year Bible
at the blog site.
PLEASE
don't read ahead and if you don't read don't catch up. Discipline yourself to
stay on schedule. As you read each day allow The Holy Spirit to teach you
Truths. Use post-it notes as you read and when or if a question develops, jot
it down. Use Bible aids, charts or maps to enhance your understanding.
Use
the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance to get the Hebrew or Greek definition of
words. Use the Webster 1828 Dictionary to define words. You might look up where
is Bethel, what does it mean and how does it impact your life today. What
is a publican or sinner? Who are the Pharisees? When you understand the
definition and meaning of words you are more apt to be in harmony with the
English of the King James Version of the Bible.
A
friend shared this saying several years ago and I suggest you copy it to a
printed page and read before and after your daily Bible reading. "
12 Key Words" By His law,
God shows us the true nature of sin and His perfect righteousness.
In love, He desires to make us holy. So out of mercy, by grace through
faith, He provides us with the
living hope and a new heart in which He can reveal
His glory unto us that our joy may be full for all
eternity."

Sunday, January 5, 2020, Happy New Year to you. As you start

The
more ideal way is to read each day from the One Year Bible at our blog site in
order to maintain a consistent discipline. Again I strongly urge you to read
your Bible then, if you choose, consider the comments about the readings.
Hopefully, we will have the system arranged for your comments back to us about
your reading or my comments soon.
We
want to encourage each of you to focus on GOD, the most high God whose name is
Jehovah. We have some readings available to assist you in your prayer time,
sharing ways to enjoy the names of God as you pray.
When
you read on Monday, meditate on the name and person of Melchizedek. Take time
to consider how Jesus called his disciples and taught them how he was going to
live and if they followed him how they should live while at the sermon on the
mount. As you read the Psalms, are you confident that the LORD will receive
your prayers? What kind of prosperity do you want to enjoy?
When
reading on Tuesday, consider God's covenant with Abram as recorded in Genesis
12, 15 and today. What promises did God give that have benefits for you today?
The Holy Spirit moved Matthew to write bold statements about personal conduct
and warnings about being a hypocrite. The prayer example should teach us that
prayer is the privilege given to the believer to call upon the Father in the
name of the Son, The Lord Jesus, Adoring God's favor and confessing our sins.
Please look at the prayer booklet for praying using the format of A-C-T-S.
Become a seeker of the 700 names of God.
Psalm
7:8 should cause all of us to stop, ponder, and recognize that God does
consider our meditation. All of us ought to consider our lifestyle-conversation
in light of Proverbs 2 as we begin to know and fear God.
We
all must be careful if or when we do not read each day that we do not get
caught in the trap, thinking God will not love me. God's loves is
unconditional! If you get caught up thinking you must read to please God, soon
you will either quit or go back and try to catch up, DON'T. Read James
4:17. IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE CHOSEN THE WRONG PATH, CONFESS AND GET
RIGHT. Start a new discipline. This is the day. Read today to know
God. GET, BE, KNOW, DO RIGHT - Don't Quit.
As
you read the rest of the week strive to summarize your reading as to what you
have learned about GOD, self and others 'JOY' (Jesus - Others - Yourself).
Try to write this knowledge in one sentence. Take time to pray it back as a
prayer of thanksgiving and gratefulness.

Lesson 1 "One Year Bible" Barnabas Impact Ministry-Victory Baptist Church 06-01-2020
Begin on Jan 1ST, read to know God. ** Before you start to read take time to seek The LORD, allow The Holy Spirit to have control, seek to be holy. Read and apply 1ST John 1:9 and follow the instructions. Be specific in confessing your sins. Accept the cleansing promise of God and be grateful. Read Genesis 1:1-2:25; Matthew 1:1-2:12; Psalm 1:1-6 and Proverbs 1:1-6. Start and keep on reading to know God. Try to read each morning. Make notes daily such as the day of the week, the temperature and what you plan to do that day. If you do not read, don't get trapped into thinking you have to catch up in order to be current. This will cause you to develop a thought that you must read to please God to be acceptable. God will not love you less because you did not read. Read, apply James 4:17 and continue to read daily.
During this period you will have read: Genesis 1:1-13:4 Consider these questions, who is the author of this book and when was it written? What is significant about v1:1? What happens after the first 70 verses? What division did The LORD make in chapter 3? How does v3:15 change the tone of the Bible. How does v5:1 apply to you?
Matthew 1:1-5:26 What is significant about v1:16? Who was afraid in v2:22? How does v3:2 apply today? How was Jesus tempted by the devil in chap4? Does chap 5 apply?
Psalm 1:1-5:12 What is God's first promise? What conditions must be met to be blessed? How do you use v4:1 to pray? What does Selah mean? Is v6:9 true?
Proverbs 1:1-28 What will a wise man hear? What is wisdom? Where does wisdom begin? Who is a simple one? What promises did you discover?
What conclusion did you draw from reading the Old Testament?
What were as the highlights from Matthew's Gospel?
How did you meditate on Psalm 1? What evidence did you find of your conversation?
How can you apply the principals given in Proverbs to your life / family / children?
Can you summarize what you learned about The LORD this week into one sentence?
The four rules for the class are: Be / get right FIRST, Read your Bible to know right; Do right according to the scriptures and then Don 't Quit.
DETERMINE ONE CRITICAL THOUGHT FROM THE OT, NT, PSALM AND THE PROVERBS THAT YOU HAVE READ AND IT HAS CHANGED YOUR LIFE THIS WEEK.

16 November 2019. Please excuse me for not being proactive in the posting about reading the One Year Bible, every day, to know God. Accept my apology due to my adventure that began 19 October with the appearance of abnormal lymph nodes, creating an ER visit that determine the need for cat-scan and biopsy. These results, plus multiple other biopsies and scans, resulted in determining a stage 4 aggressive lymphoma cancer. My treatment is intense and will last until mid February 2020.
I ask you to seek our Lord's favor as He ever makes intercession for believers with The Heavenly Father. I'm seeking His leadership as I read Psalm 119:71-80 so that I understand how better to trust God as we live with this affliction. Please consider that this to be as a gift affliction so that God may get glory, I may learn more of God and grow in grace and knowledge of my Saviour. God has entrusted this affliction unto me.
God knows my limits, faults, sins, needs, desires and hopes for the future here and in heaven. He will not exceed my capacity to survive and when it is bad, He will provide for me a MEANS OF ESCAPE OR EVEN A WAY OUT. Are you prepared to be afflicted? Do you know that you have been forgiven by Almighty God for your SIN issues because you believe that The Lord Jesus took your guilt and gave you his righteousness? Sin is not affliction. I'm not being punished! I'm being tried, proven and prepared to be more like my Saviour, The Lord Jesus Christ.
You may have an affliction and a SIN problem at the same time and it would be a SHAME to be cured of the affliction and then die and perish in Hell forever. The wage of sin (1) is death.

Thanks for being true to the Truths given in the Bible as you read to know God as Lord and Saviour. 6 November 2019 and soon, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and a New Year, 2020. I pray by now you are enjoying reading every day the One year Bible.
I hope you have decided to discipline yourself to continue reading until you go blind, someone burns your Bible or you die. As a believer we don't die, we just by the grace of Almighty God relocate from earth to heaven. Take time to read 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18 and be confident as to God's promises.
The condition is are you alive unto GOD? Do you know that you have been born again, received the righteousness of God, your name written down in The Lamb's Book of Life, forgiven and have become a son of God as per Ephesians 2:8-10; John 1:1-14; John 3:12-16, 36 and II Corinthians 5:17-21. Read 1st John 5:13-21 and read your Bible to know God.
Enjoy reading Ezekiel as it is written. Read Hebrews as a personal letter to you as a believer facing choices and difficulties, yet with hope. Enjoy the Psalms and Proverbs for edification for service to others. Learn what to want, what to avoid, who to stand and walk with and who to shun, be a judge of circumstances and do right. As a son of God, allow The Holy Spirit to guide, teach, warn and comfort you. Ask for guidance and spiritual leadership.
