continue to pray for your "card partner" and the country and your missionary family. ___

As we read this week (13-19) we will have had the opportunity to consider the following:
1st Kings 11:1-21:29 We will continue the journey from glory to captivity for the Jews. Chap 12 is the pivotal point in the book. How do you see The LORD's hands in the affairs of men? Is obedience a demonstration of love and faith? What attributes of God is demonstrated at 14:15-20, 22; 16:1 and 11-13? What affect does 15:5 have on your concept of God? How does Elijah encourage you to serve God?
Acts 9:1-13:15 What are some of the benefits of being "filled with the Holy Ghost"? How does God deal with Saul? Why is Dorcas important? How does Cornelius impact the Jews? How does "the church" embrace the Gentiles? What are the similarities to your salvation/conversion with that of Saul's? Why do you appreciate Barnabas?
How do you see GOD working through His people?
Psalm 131:1-137:9 How do you check your heart for humility? What is key at 132:11?Do we limit our worship because we sense much peer pressure? Why should we give thanks? Have you experienced sadness because you were apart from The LORD? How do you "adore" God? What attributes of GOD did you discover in Psalms?
Proverbs 17:4-16 How does v6 impact your prayer life? How does v9 cause you to be more cautious about your conversation? If we abet a thief does v13 apply to us? Are these promises or commands? Specified or implied?
Hopefully, the reading this week causes you to sense, feel, know and believe that you are in fact saved, safe and in the hand of God, The Lord Jesus Christ, and that you are accepted in the beloved, secure and significant to GOD. Consider others, check on those that were not in class last week, tell and show them you care for them.
Please accept my appreciation for your participation in our class. Congratulation for coming this far, don't quit because tomorrow may be The Day, Maranatha.
** Take time to tell someone you are seeking a specific favor for them from GOD.
