5 June 2011 Lesson # 22

Lesson #22 VBC 365 Bible Class Main Bldg-BB Class 5 June 11
If you have missed class and are not up to date on your reading - COME ON. Please continue to pray for your "card partner" and the country and your missionary family. ___
** Take time to tell someone you are seeking a specific favor for them from GOD.
Is there one(1) thing / thought / idea or concept that impressed you this week? Can you say "this one thing I know” because you have read and discovered a truth this week?
As we read this week we will have had the opportunity to consider the following:
2nd Samuel 15:23-24:25 Compare and discuss the conduct of David and Absalom. What did you learn about David in Chap 17? Where did David put The Ark of God in Jerusalem? What is sad about Chap18? What attributes of God are demonstrated in Chap 22? How and where did you see GOD work in Chap 23? What sin is exposed and what aspect of stewardship is taught in Chap 24?
John 18:25-21:25 When was this letter given to the church? What attributes of God did you find in Chap 18? What promise did you see in Chap 19? Why does God The Father answer any prayer? How important is 20:30 ? How does 20:21 apply today? What is different about 20:6-8 and Luke 24:12? What is important about 20:5-10 and 22-23? Do you believe 21:25?
Acts 1:1-3:26 How does 1:6-8 impact your life? Read and discuss 2:1-34 identifying the attributes of God. How does v2:36 impact your concept of God? What is important about v3:26?
Psalm 119:113-123:4 What is significant about 119:133? Have you made a promise to The LORD as given at v145? The nine (9) "words/synonyms" used to describe the written Word of God are: Law, Word, Judgments, Testimonies, Statues, Precepts, Way, Commandments and Sayings. What is different about v90,122 and 132? What promises are given in Psm 121? Why not pray back Psm 123?
Proverbs 16:10-23 Does 16:16 cause you any concern? How do you apply 16:23? What have you committed to The LORD? How do you comply with 16:21? Are these promises or commands? Specified or implied? What is the intent of The Commander?
Hopefully, the reading this week causes you to sense, feel, know and believe that you are in fact saved, safe and in the hand of God, The Lord Jesus Christ, and that you are accepted in the beloved, secure and significant to GOD. Consider others, check on those that were not in class last week, tell them you care for them.
PLEASE, let my questions encourage you. ((DIR & DIN)) Read to know Him.
