When you read Ex30:11-31:18 do you see the detailed instructions that Moses and the children of Israel were given concerning their lifestyle and worship? It is important for us to pay attention to what God declares Holy and respect His boundaries for our conduct. I'm grateful that we live in this era of NT Grace and not of OT Law, but the truths given in the OT are to be examples for us today for even we do not live by bread alone "but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God". Matthew recorded this truth when he said in verse 26:54 "But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?" Do you recall the promise given in the 71st verse of Genesis concerning the coming Saviour? It is ironic that we read on this day in the OT about the High Priest and some of his responsiabilities and in the NT how the holder of the same office accused Jesus of blaspheny and said He was guilty of death. What traits of GOD did you gain today because you read to know Him? The 32 Psalm shows the mercy of God, yet GOD requires that all men confess their sin/sins in order to be forgiven. Hopefully you will agree that for every promise given there is a condition. What does the word "Selah" mean to you?
