Feb 16th We are making progress on reading through the Bible in 365 days. The Book of Leviticus will be very informative and illustrate to us the sacrifice for us is Jesus Christ. I've said often the key to joy rest in our understanding of the relationship we are confident of because of our salvation and the fellowship we share with our Saviour. The emphasis is stressed of the free and or voluntary will offering given by the offender/sinner/repentant child of God to He who has been offended to make things right. How can any one separate "love" from "obedience"? If we could really grasp, understand, believe and undertake the first verse of Leviticus and it would change our "conversation" dramatically. The LORD speaking to me! Let us read Leviticus to know Him. It is exciting to begin reading Mark and recall the differences from Matthew. "Henritta C. Mears in her book "What the Bible is all about" compares these books and said Matthew has twenty-eight chapters, abounds in parables, and portrays Christ as the Son of David with kingly dignity and authority, Matt28:18. Mark has sixteen chapters and gives four parables. Mark portrays Christ as the humble but perfect Servant of God. We find the angels ministering to Him. The Living Bible Edition, page 130" Today is a dramatic picture of the touch of The Master when Jesus took Peter's mother-in-law by the hand and healed her. According to verses 34-45 there were many others that were healed but He reminded the disciples that He came that He may preach. Psalm 35:28 causes us to check our motive of prayer so that it may be to magnify The LORD. Let us all be very careful who we look at and what we listen to for our enemy is out to destroy us. Read to know Him. Be right, do right and enjoy Him. pj
