Feb 12th I hope you are believing GOD and willing (now) to put your life into His hands for care and direction. Please read to know Him and don't get overcome because of His blessings. Look for Him. In reading Ex34:1-35:9 we can see GOD's self portrait by and through His Names and attributes. The commandments, instructions and covenant are clear and distinct and not easily "misunderstood". Please do not take GOD lightly nor claim these truths/facts/examples are not for us today. If we believe that God does not change and that The LORD did what the Bible records that GOD did and He is the same Lord today, then let us be like those that gave the offerings and have a "willing heart" because they believed, let us believe. I suspect some moved with a respectful fear of The LORD especially after seeing Moses after his 40 days on mount Sinai. What is it going to take or what more must God do to get some of us to just obey known truth that has been clearly expressed to us? Is there not a verse that says in effect "if you know to do right and do it not, it is sin"? In Matthew 27:15-34 we read some very sad questions asked by unbelievers and see how The Jewish people declared their choice to choose a guilty man and not Jesus to be released. And the lost man saw that they did this because of envy. Verses 21-26 may be the saddest verses you may read and they demonstrate how man tries to cleanse himself and others start a generational curse by mocking Jesus who is God in the flesh. The answer to both of their sin problems was right before them and didn't see, nor listen, nor believe. Isn't it tragic that He(Jesus)came unto His own and they received Him not. How about you? Psalm 33:12-22 cries out for action. Read verse 18 and think about Him and then answer His question "who do you hope in?" Provers9:1-6 declare a simple lifestyle that may bring about a desired benefit if you do it. Did you see Him in all His blessings?
